About the Role
We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on fundraising leader who can develop and deliver our Individual Giving and Legacies programme, spanning legacies, membership, regular giving, lottery, appeals, publications, merchandise, Gift Aid, in-memory giving and supporter care. You will be able to balance planning with delivery, using data-driven insight to acquire, retain, upgrade and reactivate supporters while building a positive team culture where your team members feel valued, supported and empowered to do their best work.

Join our charity at a pivotal moment. We are looking for a talented communications professional who can work with our small remote team to keep migrant homelessness and destitution high on the public agenda and tell powerful, compelling stories of the work of our members and the experiences of the people in the asylum and immigration system.
You will lead our comms work, managing our digital presence, driving engagement through our social media channels, being the first point of contact for journalists and, alongside the External Affairs Lead, developing and driving our organisational communications strategy. You will have plenty of creative ideas of how to get our campaigns noticed and ensure NACCOM’s voice is heard in the public debate.
You will understand how to work with people in vulnerable or precarious situations, empowering them to tell their own stories and giving them a voice.
A strong knowledge of the media landscape and using social media to achieve change is essential. Experience of managing websites and an understanding of brand is also key.

Hours: Part time at 21 hours per week (which is 0.6 FTE, full time is 35 hpw)
Salary: £23,620 for 0.6 FTE (full time / 35 hpw salary would be £39,367pa). Plus £4,000 pro rata London Weighting if applicable.

NACCOM (No Accommodation Network) is a registered charity, and we provide a service to our (135) members who are frontline organisations based across the UK working together to end destitution amongst people seeking asylum, refugees and migrants with No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF).
The NACCOM membership network is made up of ‘full’ members who provide accommodation to people seeking asylum who have been refused and ‘associate’ members who are organisations that are in support of the aims of NACCOM.
NACCOM brings members together to network, collaborate and share good practice, and also provides resources, support and training to enable members to increase their capacity and empower as many people as possible out of destitution. Job purpose:
The Communications Co-ordinator will be responsible for the delivery of NACCOM’s communications strategy. The postholder will co-ordinate all media relations, both proactive and reactive, maintaining excellent relationships with journalists and ensuring high level visibility of key projects and the issue of migrant homelessness and destitution more broadly. This post leads and manages NACCOM’s social media presence, ensuring strong engagement and building NACCOM visibility across its social media platforms, and will play a pivotal role int the development and delivery of a new website. Empowering people with lived experience of the asylum system and destitution to be able to tell their stories in a variety of contexts is integral to the role, as well as a good understanding of delivering a communications function for a network organisation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Work with the External Affairs Lead to develop and implement a communications strategy.
· Manage NACCOM’s digital presence including the delivery of a new website.
· Ensure the delivery of a monthly email newsletter to supporters.
· Manage the design and publication process for NACCOM reports including our annual impact report, working with a freelance designer.
· Develop a social media strategy that drives engagement with NACCOM’s work with our key audiences and ensure regular, compelling social media posts and updates.
· Work with the Community Research Co-ordinator to build the capacity of our Community Researchers and Community Ambassadors to engage with communications projects and act as spokespeople in the media.
· Manage NACCOM’s media relations, providing a press office function and leading media strategy for discrete projects.
· Ensure brand and tone of voice consistency across all NACCOM communications outputs.
· Provide comms support with NACCOM events to the wider team.

The role

Exceptional Service Delivery
- Lead on ensuring that the day to day operation of the service is in line with the Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023 and Supported Accommodation Quality Standards.
- Lead, supervise and develop a high-performing staff team - preparing every staff member for registration and future Ofsted inspections.
- Motivate, inspire and develop multiple supported housing teams including 4+ direct reports to successfully manage their own teams, including the delivery of recorded monthly supervision and case management.
- Complete a monthly case management review of each site with relevant manager, including an in-depth audit to ensure young people are receiving the best possible support including high quality case notes, interventions, goals, and a consistency of delivery and approach across all teams.
- Work to build effective staff teams that meet and exceed their set goals and targets and monitor their performance, pro-actively addressing any challenges with the support of HR colleagues.
- Empower your teams to meaningfully engage, involve, and devolve decision making power to young people wherever possible to enable them to highlight and design areas for service development and co-create possible solutions or opportunities for change.
- Model for your teams the use of coaching and motivational interviewing techniques to empower young people with complex needs to regularly set and achieve ambitious person-centred goals, praising them for their achievements, and celebrating where appropriate through the resident incentive scheme.

- To deliver a person-centred, asset-based, and trauma-informed approach at all times, recognising that one of the stages of change is relapse which is an important part of the journey towards achieving long term success.

Compliance
- Lead on ensuring that all aspects of service delivery, including H&S, Facilities etc are compliant with the necessary regulations, to ensure smooth Ofsted registration, working with teams from across the organisation where necessary.
- Ensure you and your teams collect and record all data required for monitoring and evaluation purposes and write regular case studies to demonstrate the ongoing impact of your work.
- Complete audits, quality assurance processes and continuous improvement plans to ensure continued compliance and success.

- Ensure all teams record and complete any actions needed in terms of licence management following property checks, damage to property, or abandonment of property etc.
- Receive and record all compliments and complaints about the housing service on In-Form in line with all Housing Ombudsman requirements and respond to all complaints in writing in a timely manner in line with the appropriate policy and procedure.
- Ensure that all service areas are delivered within budget, reporting any concerns to SLT in a timely manner.
- Ensure service level risk assessments and other health and safety compliance documents are completed as and when necessary for all relevant housing support areas.
- Ensure all H&S and Facilities checks are completed to ensure compliance with Ofsted requirements, raising this promptly with the SLT if Ofsted registered properties are not compliant.
Safeguarding
- Ensure safeguarding lies at the heart of every aspect of the service.
- Act as a Designated Safeguarding Lead and ensure all members of your team record any Safeguarding concerns immediately on MyConcern and make any referrals requested in line with the Safeguarding policy.
- Act as the first point of contact for on-call queries from your direct reports, escalating any significant incidents or safeguarding concerns to SLT, and ensuring adequate cover is in place where necessary.
- Ensure teams are regularly trained in Professional Boundaries to remind staff of their obligation to uphold & maintain them at all times.
About You
You're an experienced leader who enjoys raising standards and making things better. You'll ideally have:
- Experience of managing and motivating a large team providing 24/7 support across multiple sites.

- At least 2 years experience working in supported accommodation, residential childcare leaving care or other supported housing setting for young people.

Brief role description
The young people programme supports young people from Forces families aged 16 to 24, particularly those who are disadvantaged, affected by mobility, at risk of becoming NEET or who have Special Educational Needs (SEN). Who we're looking for
We are looking for someone with a background in education and/or experience supporting young people to overcome challenges. Here are some examples of how we help our clients:
In Person Enquiry.
Mr Jones attended our drop-in service regarding multiple debts which had accumulated when, due to severe and sudden illness, he was forced to finish work. Mr Jones was unable to communicate by telephone due to his illness so needed in person support. He was anxious as his creditors had been contacting him asking him for payments and some were threatening court action.
The Caseworker helped Mr Jones obtain details of all his debts. They arranged a formal Breathing Space to stop further action from his creditors for 60 days. The Caseworker helped Mr Jones complete a budget, checked his benefit income was correct, and helped him claim charitable support to maximise his income. They also looked at practical ways of helping him reduce his bills and expenditure. Unfortunately, Mr Jones still had very limited income to make affordable payment arrangements to his creditors.
The Caseworker then advised him of all the options and solutions available. Mr Jones chose a Debt Relief Order insolvency solution, which the Caseworker completed, to give him a fresh start by effectively clearing his debts.
Telephone Enquiry.
Miss Smith contacted our advice line for help with her energy arrears. She struggled with a language barrier due to a limited level of English and was vulnerable due to a mental health condition. With a combination of several telephone calls, together with interpreting services, the Caseworker was able to successfully help her.
The Caseworker contacted the fuel provider concerned and advised of her vulnerabilities. They requested that Miss Smith’s details were placed on the Priority Services Register. Even though it was Wintertime, Miss Smith had not been topping up her prepayment meter as she could not afford to do so, so arrears via unpaid standing charges, were also accruing. The meter was also in an awkward position, so she found it difficult to access to top up. The Caseworker assisted her in contacting the fuel provider to install a new smart meter which she could access easier. Miss Smith was then able to use an app to top up her meter which she found more convenient.
The Caseworker assisted Miss Smith in completing a budget, benefit claims, charitable support and fuel vouchers. The Caseworker looked at ways of reducing her expenditure and easy energy efficiency measures Miss Smith could undertake herself in her home.
As a result of these actions, Miss Smith then had some disposable income and was able to start to top up her prepayment meter regularly and keep warm. The Caseworker also assisted her with the completion of a successful trust fund application to her fuel provider, to repay the arrears in full.

To be appointed as an Energy Debt Specialist, you will need to have knowledge and experience of complex debt casework, covering priority and non-priority debt advice, options, and insolvency solutions.
You will also need to have the Institute of Money Advisers Certificate in Money Advice Practice or MaPS Caseworker accreditation equivalent. NEA Level 3 City and Guilds Level Energy Awareness would be desirable too.

Purpose of the job

You will work closely with our network of citizen scientists to support their efforts to measure water quality in their local area. This will involve distributing equipment and PPE, responding to their queries, and visiting sites with them to discuss local pollution issues and potential solutions.
This job would suit somebody who has an interest in river water quality, enjoys working outside, is a good problem solver, and likes working with people.

Working as part of a collaborative team, you’ll help manage relationships with our existing corporate supporters, identify new partnership opportunities and support the delivery of a range of fundraising and engagement activities.
Working closely with the Corporate Partnerships Managers and Fundraising Events Manager, you will secure exciting auction items for our flagship fundraising event and support the growth of our Corporate Membership and Sponsorship programmes.

What you’ll be doing:
· Support the delivery of the Museum’s fundraising strategy, with a focus on corporate partnerships, sponsorship and membership.
· Help build and maintain a pipeline of corporate prospects aligned with the Museum’s mission and strategic priorities, undertaking research and due diligence.
· Develop compelling sponsorship proposals and partnership packages that deliver mutual value for the Museum and corporate partners.
· Act as a primary relationship manager for a portfolio of corporate partners, providing high‑quality stewardship and ensuring long‑term engagement and retention.
· Ensure all contractual benefits and obligations are delivered accurately, on time and to a high standard.
· Coordinate partnership activity across internal teams, including marketing, programming and events, to maximise partner value and visibility.
· Lead or support the delivery of partnership‑related events and activations, ensuring a professional partner experience.
· Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of partnership activity, income and communications within the CRM system.
· Produce high‑quality partnership communications, including proposals, reports, updates and newsletters.
· Monitor partnership performance and prepare clear reports that support renewals, growth and long‑term stewardship.
· Regularly review and update the content of the Museum’s website and digital supporters screen to ensure messaging is consistent with brand and strategic objectives.
· Provide administrative support for the Museum’s corporate partnerships, including minute-taking, maintaining financial records, compiling partnership data for evaluation, and responding to enquiries.
What we’re looking for
Essential skills and experience:
· Knowledge of corporate fundraising, sponsorship or partnership development practice.
· Proven experience of developing and managing relationships with a range of corporate stakeholders and delivering excellent stewardship
· Demonstrable track record of generating income through corporate relationships and meeting or exceeding income targets.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce persuasive proposals and present confidently to senior audiences.
· Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple partnerships and deadlines simultaneously.
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in written communications and contractual documentation.
· Confident user of MS Office and CRM/database systems to drive income generation.
· Proactive, flexible and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
· Experience of supporting or delivering partnership related events or activations.
· Willing to work occasional evenings and weekends as the programme requires to support the delivery of events and networking opportunities.
Desirable:
· Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
· Knowledge of fundraising legislation and best practice.
· Understanding of the museum, cultural or visitor attractions sector.
· Experience of working with internal teams to deliver integrated partnership activity.

- Relevant qualifications in Programme & Project Management e.g PRINCE 2/APM/CAPM/PMP) or equivalent experience
- Significant experience of effectively managing the end-to-end business development process
- Excellent knowledge of key project processes such as high-level project mapping, design & time management principals
- Successful track record of managing stakeholders and key client relationships
