About the role

CoramBAAF’s membership is central to the organisation’s aims and activities. The Member Services Team provides a comprehensive service to corporate members and customers in all four nations of the UK. The team manages and tracks member renewals, enrols new members, implements recruitment and retention strategies, co-ordinates service delivery to members and handles a wide range of membership enquiries.

The team is also responsible for the licensing of CoramBAAF’s health and social work report forms, essential to practice in adoption, fostering, kinship care and other substitute care UK-wide. Activities to support the licence scheme include managing and tracking licence renewals, coordinating the release of new and updated forms, enrolling new licence holders and handling a wide range of queries.

The Member Services Team Assistant will provide administrative assistance to the Member Services Team, including both membership and the forms licence scheme. Key activities include: monitoring the Membership and Licences inboxes; responding to general enquiries and directing service-specific or more complex enquiries to the appropriate colleague/team; maintaining and updating member/customer records in the CRM database; helping members to set up website accounts and resolving access issues; and assisting with payment chasing of membership and licence invoices.

Purpose of the job

The Operations Officer provides vital administrative and operational support across UK Youth, helping ensure our people, systems, and workplaces are set up for success. You will play a key role in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly and ensuring teams have the tools, resources, and information they need to work effectively.

Working closely with the Head of Operations, you will take responsibility for core operational processes including systems administration, facilities coordination, cross-departmental events and compliance support.

This role strengthens the foundations that enable UK Youth to deliver for young people in the long term by supporting strong systems, effective ways of working, and a positive workplace environment.

Key responsibilities

IT & Systems

• Manage the day-to-day relationship with our IT support partner, including monitoring support tickets, approving change requests, and escalating issues to the Head of Operations where required.

• Support the maintenance and monitoring of IT equipment in collaboration with our IT Support Partner

• Maintain our IT asset register; be responsible for ensuring all IT equipment is accounted for and organising its safe distribution.

• Maintain and improve UK Youth’s SharePoint and MS Teams sites and channels, ensuring efficient organisation, accessibility of information and compliance with information and data protection policies

• Support operational improvement projects, including process automation e.g., use of Microsoft Forms and Power Automate to streamline and automate internal workflows such as onboarding, approvals, and data collection.

Office Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all London office facility needs, liaising with landlords, contractors, suppliers, and cleaners to ensure the workspace remains safe, functional, and well maintained.

• Manage staff building access and oversee the use of UK Youth’s storage facility, ensuring secure and efficient use of space.

• Manage and maintain the room booking systems, ensuring availability, access, and efficient use of meeting spaces.

• Manage departmental shared inboxes, general phone lines and post, ensuring timely and helpful responses.

• Coordinate purchasing and maintenance of office supplies and equipment, ensuring value for money and timely delivery.

Health & Safety

• Act as the main contact for Health & Safety within our London office, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

• Coordinate H&S inductions and site orientations for all new starters and maintain risk assessments, compliance logs, and required documentation.

• Maintain UK Youth’s risk assessment log and review schedule

• Support the collection, tracking, and reporting of organisational H&S compliance data, contributing operational reporting.

• Contribute to the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs), templates, and internal process playbooks.

Team Support

• Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to the People and Operations Team.

• Maintain departmental calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate agendas, papers, and minutes.

• Lead logistics for key organisation-wide events such as our quarterly Town Halls.

Experience we're after

• Experience supporting operations, administration, compliance, or facilities within a busy organisation.

• Experience coordinating service providers, contractors, or suppliers.

• Experience supporting digital systems (e.g., Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams) and contributing to process improvements.

• Experience handling sensitive information and maintaining accurate, high-quality records.

Role Purpose

To manage the planning, delivery and continuous improvement of our most high-profile annual events, including, but not limited to, UKYP, Peer Network Conference and a number of our annual policy events. The postholder will deliver multi-stakeholder events to high standards, on time and in budget, identifying opportunities to develop and improve events year on year.

The Event Manager plays a pivotal role in organising the events and activities that will provide young people, from across the United Kingdom, the opportunity to collaboratively engage in the democratic process through the UK Youth Parliament Programme.

This role involves working closely with the UK Youth Parliament team and our partners to support the effective organisation, communication and delivery of the UK wide events and activities.

The Event Manager will work closely with the Policy team, Communications team and Programme Management teams.

Key Responsibilities

As our Events Manager, you will:

• Plan, organisation and on-site delivery of regional and national events, including residential and single-day conferences, networking events and a House of Commons sitting.
• Project management of all event elements including budgets, logistics, health and safety, safeguarding, attendees, AV and delegate communications.
• Be responsible for selection and management of all event suppliers including accommodation, equipment, AV and logistics.
• Oversee venue and supplier management
• Act as first point of contact for all delegates where appropriate to the event
• First point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
• Work with our finance team to ensure event budgets are managed closely and events are delivered in budget
• Report for each event during event planning phase and developing comprehensive post-event reports which

Accommodation Support Worker(Future Roots 2 Project) 
Salary Banding: £28,893 per annum with potential to progress through salary band.  Plus additional payment for overnight shifts on occasion.  (£85 per night shift required / £50 per on call shift)

Herts Young Homeless is an independent charity that has supported vulnerable young people across Hertfordshire since 1998. We are a professional, compassionate and collaborative organisation, committed to helping young people build safe, independent futures.

About the service

Future Roots Hatfield provides supported accommodation for six young people. The service focuses on developing the practical, emotional and life skills needed for independent living, within a safe, respectful and homely environment.

We’re looking for a Supported Accommodation Worker to support residents on their journey towards independence. The role requires flexibility to meet the needs of the house, which may include changes to working patterns and very occasional paid sleep-in shifts.

Future Roots Hatfield is a welcoming, supported home for up to six young people. We focus on helping them build the practical skills, confidence and resilience they need to live independently.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Supported Accommodation Worker to join our team and play a key role in helping young people move towards independence.

This is a flexible role that adapts to the needs of the home, including occasional changes to working patterns and very occasional paid sleep-in shifts.

About the role

As a Children and Young People Caseworker you will:

• Deliver excellent services to Children and Young People who have been victims of crime through the direct provision of information, practical and emotional help from the point of crime and where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

As our Programme Governance Lead, you will:

• Design and run governance routines (e.g., project start-up, weekly/monthly reviews, decision logs, change control) and support high-quality papers and actions for directorate governance forums; ensure timely escalation of material risks, issues and decisions to the COO.
• Support teams to evidence compliance with funder/contractual requirements; ensure appropriate documentation, approvals and version control are in place and accessible.
• Implement and maintain a robust lessons-learned process (during and post-delivery) and ensure findings are integrated into future programmes/projects through updated standards, templates, training and assurance checkpoints.

Engagement Partner London

Location of work: London, must live within the M25. This post holder will be based at home and will deliver a hybrid model of engagement, combining in-person visits to schools and other establishments within an allocated local area with remote engagement.  

The role will require regular local travel, including some early morning breakfast visits, and irregular travel throughout the UK with minimal overnight stays. A full driver’s licence and use of a vehicle is required or access to TFL.

JOB PURPOSE  

Magic Breakfast’s mission is to end child morning hunger in the UK now and for good. The Engagement Partner will be responsible for delivering both face to face and remote engagement with schools, teachers, children and young people, and their wider communities within an allocated area. The role will support schools with the setup, rollout and continuous improvement of breakfast provision, and engage with school communities to educate on the importance of breakfast on learning, enabling increased uptake in a barrier and stigma free way by optimising provision and encouraging reach.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To develop strong relationships with supported schools in the allocated area, enabling, preserving, embedding, enhancing and extending stigma- and barrier-free breakfast provision through a combination of in person and remote engagement. 

• To educate and engage the wider school community, including teachers, parents and children and young people, on the importance of breakfast and the implications of hunger as a barrier to learning through assemblies, staff meetings, online support, virtual and in-person events, and regional events throughout the academic year. 

• To engage with the wider community, both in person and remotely, to advocate for the importance of breakfast, promote the work being delivered in existing schools, and support Magic Breakfast’s campaigning and advocacy strategy and plans.

• To support supporter visits, volunteering activity, funder engagement and any related requirements, both in person and remotely. 

• To enable, support and provide feedback on new ways of working, trials and innovations.

Pay - £2,250 per Form F Assessment / £37.50 per hour,  plus £250 bonus for ‘panel ready’ assessments, plus £250 bonus for completion within 16 weeks, plus 55p mileage.

We are recruiting sessional assessing social workers to undertake Form F assessments. Our assessments are undertaken face to face. Applicants must live within the specified areas above. 

Key Duties for Form F Assessors include:

• To undertake and complete Form F assessments in the timescale set out in our policy and guidance.
• To visit personal referees as identified on application form for prospective foster carers.
• To ensure that all checks and references are undertaken and completed.
• To provide to the supervisor, regular written updates of the draft assessment.
• To liaise with our administrative team concerning the progress of administrative checks and completion of the Form F.
• To be available for supervision, consultation or liaison as required.
• To be available to present completed Form Fs to the virtual fostering panel and provide support to the applicants through this process.
• To be aware of our child protection procedures and immediately report any child protection matter or concerns to a TACT manager and any relevant placing authority and the area authority.
• To carry out the duties in line with our Foster Carer and Supervising Social Worker Standards and Practice Guidance.

Rates of Pay for Form F Assessors

• £2,250 per Form F Assessment / £37.50 per hour,  plus £250 bonus for ‘panel ready’ assessments, plus £250 bonus for completion within 16 weeks, plus 45p mileage
• £37.50 per hour for assessments which are not completed, and any other piece of work.

You will be DipSW, CSS or CQSW qualified and registered with the relevant regulatory body (Social Work England).

An Enhanced DBS check will be required for this role and will be undertaken  by TACT on your behalf.
