The GAMH Research, Policy and Advocacy Officer is a new post that will play a central role in advancing GAMH’s global policy and advocacy agenda, helping to strengthen and elevate the focus on the health and wellbeing of men within national, regional and global policy environments. The postholder will design and deliver policy advocacy initiatives, generate high-quality research, write reports and publications, support project coordination, engage stakeholders and partners, and support communications to influence decision-makers aimed at improving health and wellbeing outcomes for men and boys within a gender equality framework. The position will work across all GAMH workstreams, with a particular focus on men’s health in Europe, prostate cancer and human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination programmes.

This exciting new role will is being created at a time of organisational expansion and growing interest in men’s health worldwide. It will require attendance at meetings in London and the South East of England and occasional European/international travel will also be required.

Key Responsibilities

1. Policy Advocacy and Campaign Development

• Develop and contribute to GAMH’s policy positions and advocacy on key men’s health issues, with a particular focus on men’s health in Europe, prostate cancer and HPV.
• Monitor and analyse key policy developments relevant to men’s health and the work of GAMH across prevention, early diagnosis, screening, treatment, and support.
• Support the design and delivery of advocacy strategies and campaigns targeting policymakers, professional societies, international non-governmental organisations and other international bodies.
• Support coalition and network building by GAMH to strengthen policy responses on men’s health.
• Prepare policy briefings and advocacy materials.

2. Research, Analysis and Writing

• Conduct and synthesise research on men’s health issues, including policy analysis, epidemiology, and literature reviews.
• Write high-quality accessible reports, evidence summaries, position papers and publications to support GAMH’s work.
• Identify relevant gaps in policy data and evidence relating to men’s health. 

3. Project Coordination and support

• Manage the development of a European Men’s Health report.
• Play a leading role in, and support, the development of GAMH’s Global Prostate Cancer Initiative and wider work on prostate cancer policy.

• Assist in the planning and delivery of other GAMH projects, as necessary.
• Contribute to funding proposals and reporting to donors.

4. Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships

• Support the strengthening of GAMH engagement with national men’s health networks and its members, particularly in Europe.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across each of the relevant GAMH workstreams, including policymakers, non-governmental organisations, UN agencies, academics and researchers, patient organisations, professional bodies, advocates and industry.
• Represent GAMH at meetings, conferences, and events (as required).
• Attend and report to the GAMH Board of Trustees (as required)

5. Communications, Dissemination and Impact

• Support the dissemination of GAMH reports, campaigns, and advocacy outputs.
• Support launch event/s of GAMH and initiatives and reports.
• Contribute to GAMH’s website, newsletters, and social media channels.
• Support monitoring and evaluation of GAMH advocacy and research activities.

Person Specification

Essential

• Degree (or equivalent experience) in health policy, public health, or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience in policy advocacy, campaigns and research.
• Experience of research, analysing and synthesising complex information into clear evidence-based written outputs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English), with ability to adapt content for different audiences.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence working with senior stakeholders and external partners.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

The Role

We are looking for a Class 2 HGV Driver to make daily collections from our food partners in the Midlands region and deliver to warehouses across the West and East Midlands. This role is most suited to individuals with an aptitude for driving, who have excellent customer service skills combined with a professional attitude, as you will be dealing directly with our customers as a representative of FareShare Midlands.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work with the Supply Chain Team to collect surplus food from partners and deliver to the right regional centre.

• Provide excellent customer service to food partners in person and by phone, offering a highly professional impression of the charity in a friendly manner.
• Adhere to all laws, Road Transport Regulations and HGV Working Time directives.
• Support the Supply Chain Team by collecting stock offered from the food industry and delivering it to Regional Centres in a timely fashion, communicating ETAs and delays.
• Maintain records of collections and allocations e.g. provide paperwork and temperature readings to the Regional Centres on delivery.
• Identify any barriers or opportunities and feedback any developments or challenges e.g. delays, maintenance concerns, instruction errors, etc.
• Ensure deliveries follow the assigned order, the routes are planned appropriately in the given timescale and all delivery windows are met safely.
• Highlight and respond quickly to any anticipated delays or difficulties, using problem solving skills to mitigate any unforeseen circumstances e.g. taking breaks while queueing or changing the order of collections subject to permission from the Supply Chain Team.
• Ensure the quality of the product delivered is accurate against notes, making detailed visual inspections and flagging any concerns or discrepancies before the vehicle is loaded.
• Strengthen existing relationships by providing a reliable and friendly service.
• Adhere to all health and safety and operational requirements at all times.
• Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained, serviced and cleaned to a high standard.

Role Purpose

As part of the Clinical Services leadership team, the Adult Team Manager provides operational oversight, line management, and clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team delivering bereavement support to adults after the death of a child. About the Team

The Alumni Relations and Development Office is a small, collaborative team responsible for alumni engagement, fundraising, alumni events, and stewardship activity. Working closely with senior College leadership and colleagues across departments, the team delivers a varied programme of events and communications to strengthen engagement and support the College’s development priorities. As a small office, the team works flexibly and collaboratively, with clearly defined but complementary roles. The Development Operations Officer will work closely with the Alumni Relations and Development Manager and the Alumni Relations and Events Officer, and will maintain a close working relationship with the Finance Office.

About the Role

The Development Operations Officer is responsible for the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of the systems, data, reporting and financial processes that underpin fundraising and alumni relations activity at Linacre College. Working at the heart of a small and ambitious team, the postholder will manage the College’s CRM system (Raiser’s Edge/NXT), and will take responsibility for gift administration, reconciliation, data integrity, reporting, segmentation and operational processes. The role requires sound judgement, strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve data, process and finance discrepancies independently within agreed frameworks.

The postholder will provide specialist operational expertise to colleagues, advising on data selection, reporting outputs, CRM use and process improvements. They will play an important role in ensuring that fundraising activity is supported by accurate information, reliable systems and effective financial controls. This is a varied and hands-on role. Link Adoption & Family Support Service provides therapeutic support services for children, young people, and families across the UK. Much of our work is focused within adoption services, supporting adoptive families, children, and young people who have been adopted. We also provide therapeutic services to Special Guardians, kinship carers, and foster carers.

More recently, we have expanded our provision to support wider communities through partnerships with Barnardo's projects, health authorities, charities and voluntary sector organisations. Services are delivered both face-to-face and virtually across the UK.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Therapeutic Social Worker to join our dynamic therapeutic services team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Social Worker to play a key role in coordinating therapeutic interventions that make a meaningful difference to the lives of children and families.

Working within a trauma-informed and attachment-focused service, you will manage referrals from initial enquiry through to case closure, ensuring children and families receive timely, appropriate support. We are a local, independent charity based on the Wirral, supporting people living with dementia, their carers, and former carers by providing community-based activities and day trips. We help people stay active, enjoy friendship and creativity, reduce isolation, and feel included, valued and respected.

We are now looking for an enthusiastic Fundraiser to help us grow our income so that we can reach more people and provide more activities, events and support on the Wirral

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, developing local support, and turning ideas into practical fundraising activity. The main focus of the role will be local community fundraising, with some involvement in trusts, foundations and grant applications where appropriate.

About the role
As our Fundraiser, you will help us develop and deliver a practical fundraising plan to support the charity’s continued growth.
