What we’re looking for
We are seeking a driven, proactive professional with a proven track record of managing complex partnerships across the private or third sectors, with a firm grasp of corporate fundraising.
You have a history in identifying, researching and securing high value partnerships to help maximise corporate income opportunities, and creating a tailored approach to each one. Strong communication skills are key, particularly the ability to draft and deliver pitches to diverse audiences and build productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
This role requires the ability to manage multiple projects at one time and operate effectively under pressure within a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be highly goal-oriented, resilient in the face of challenges, and capable of balancing competing priorities. We are looking for a collaborative, flexible team player who is aligned with our charitable mission and dedicated to driving positive outcomes.

Job summary
This role is central to the Policy & Engagement Team. The postholder will support our impact and evaluation work across the organisation in line with our Theory of Change, producing quarterly reports, annual reports and briefings for the Board, Parliamentarians and grant funders. The role works alongside Youth Board to identify project ideas and support any research work affiliated with their projects. The postholder has responsibility for Whizz Kidz Community Change projects and Research panel.
The person
You will have a passion for working with young people and driving change and perceptions. You will have significant experience in designing research projects to ensure Whizz Kidz is meeting the aims and objectives of its Theory of Change and that it is listening to the voice of young wheelchair users. You can read and interpret qualitative and quantitative data and use this data to form strong arguments.
Key accountabilities
- Lead the Whizz Kidz Community Change projects ensuring fair distribution of funds and impact analysis. You will be the link to all of our projects.
- Lead the Whizz Kidz research panel ensuring opportunities to contribute to the panel are circulated and that this is used to feed into national strategy.
- Provide research and analysis as needed to support the Youth Board and Whizz Kidz wider policy work.
- Support monthly management reporting; quarterly Theory of Change reporting and Annual impact reporting with the Impact & Evaluation Manager
- Draft content for Whizz Kidz documentation (e.g campaign briefings)
- Contribute to / lead on external policy consultation responses
- Analyse internal and external data to provide robust arguments for societal change work
- Analysis and reporting of Whizz Kidz beneficiaries against IMD and income data and demographics
- Attend Youth Board and other events as needed
The post holder will also
- Work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends, and to travel and stay overnight where necessary.

This role will create opportunities for carers to connect with others who understand their experiences, gain practical tools and information, and build resilience while navigating the challenges of supporting a loved one with mental health needs.
This role is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by ensuring carers have access to the support, knowledge and community they need to thrive. As the Carers Programme Lead, you will mobilise, coordinate and facilitate a programme that combines structured learning, peer support and reflective spaces, helping carers feel better equipped, more connected and less alone. This will include developing and refining a structured learning programme and continuously building on carers’ feedback.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading and facilitating a weekly programme for unpaid carers, combining a structured six-week course with ongoing peer support and reflection sessions.
- Creating welcoming, supportive spaces where carers can share experiences, build resilience and prioritise their own wellbeing.
- Developing practical workshops, resources and learning opportunities that help carers navigate the challenges of caring.
- Building relationships with Community Mental Health Teams, carers organisations and community partners to support referrals and engagement.
- Managing programme administration, monitoring and reporting, while supervising sessional staff with lived experience.

South East London Mind is launching a new Hearing Voices Group in Southwark, offering a welcoming, peer-led space where people can share experiences, connect with others and develop their own understanding of voices and unusual experiences. The group will be delivered in line with the Hearing Voices Network Charter, creating an environment that is validating, trauma-informed and non-pathologising.
We are looking for a Hearing Voices Programme Lead and Facilitator to coordinate and deliver this exciting new programme. You will facilitate a weekly group, creating a safe and validating environment where people can explore their experiences on their own terms, supporting participants to develop their own wellbeing strategies, confidence and goals.
The role will lead the programme including building routes into the service through promotion, outreach and community engagement, and developing strong relationships with Community Mental Health Teams and local partners. You will manage referrals and monitoring and manage sessional co-facilitators with lived experience of hearing voices.
This is a unique opportunity to combine facilitation, community engagement, service development and leadership in a role that centres lived experience and peer support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Support long term financial planning, scenario modelling, and risk management, including exploring income diversification.
- Ensure financial systems remain proportionate, efficient, and aligned with our strategic pillars.
- Help the organisation prepare for sector wide challenges such as rising demand, funding pressures, and increased complexity.

Annual Accounts and Audit

Oversight of Day to Day Finance Operations

- Maintain oversight of income, expenditure, payroll, reconciliations, and journals.

The Supporter Care Manager manages and leads the Supporter Services function to provide an exceptional service to our supporters, from initial contact through the whole of their supporter journey, including thanking, welcome and upgrade calls to exemplary complaint handling. The Supporter Care Manager ensures the day-to-day operations of the Supporter Care team are completed within agreed timeframes and to the highest of standards. This role continually reviews and challenges the function’s processes to identify improvements and efficiencies in order to continually improve our supporter offer and ultimately increase fundraising income and donor retention.
Key Responsibilities
Communication and networking
- Deliver an exceptional service to our supporters from initial contact through to thanking, responding to enquiries in a timely and effective way.
- Develop and maintain excellent internal relationships to represent the Fundraising department effectively and credibly in person, and in all correspondence with supporters.
- Manage the relationship with our external suppliers who manage the fulfilment of appeal-led gifts and Direct Debits.
- Ensure our suppliers are meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and be prepared to hold them to account for any discrepancies or failings to meet SLAs.
- Build good professional relationships with key stakeholders across the Foundation.
- Communicate technical and financial information clearly to colleagues and external stakeholders and investigate non-routine queries.
- Work with Fundraising teams to ensure all fundraising activity is briefed into Supporter Care to enable delivery.
- Maintain sector knowledge, keeping up to date with developments in best practice.
Team management
- Line management responsibility of the Supporter Care Coordinator.
- Maintain a high-performing operational function, managing the Supporter Care functions workload to answer all supporter enquiries through post, email and phone within agreed SLAs and to the highest possible standard.
- Ensure the Supporter Care Coordinator is fully trained, provided with the information they require and offered development opportunities in the way of training and networking where possible and relevant.
- Continually review and evaluate the remit of the function to identify any efficiencies that could be made.

- Ensure all thanking is completed within agreed SLAs, providing personalised responses as required and develop response templates for the Gift Processing team for automated thanking.
- Working with the Head of Individual & Legacy Giving to develop and lead a comprehensive programme of internally delivered welcome calls, telephone upgrades and conversion calls to our supporters.
- Manage complex and non-routine requests from supporters and colleagues.
- Regularly review and explore new systems and ways of working, seeking to continuously improve delivery.
Analysis and research
- Report back on complaints and incidents to both internal and external stakeholders, with details of the resolutions and plans to mitigate against this in the future.

About the role
In recent years we have significantly upscaled our planning and delivery of river restoration works and in 2020/21 we restored 5km of rivers. In the next 5 years we intend to continue to expand this work, and by 2027 we aim to improve 15km of river habitat annually.
To enable this, we are looking for a committed, self-motivated and technically capable River Restoration Officer.
If you have a strong interest in river/wetland ecology, have studied rivers, their restoration and have a grasp of the techniques, designs and permitting processes required to restore rivers and improve river health, you may be perfect for this position.
Your role is to carry out fieldwork, delivering nature-based solutions across river catchments, working with a variety of stakeholders and running events with volunteers and local groups. Other additional requirements may include project development, citizen science to support delivery, as well as oral presentations and reporting.
The role involves developing concepts and graphics for river restoration actions across catchments in London. The role will involve working with principal designers and contractors and applying the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015), ensuring risks are effectively managed throughout the design and delivery of river restoration schemes.
This role is a key position in implementing Thames21’s mission. The selected candidate will be part of a successful and dynamic environmental charity, as well as part of a committed team. Purpose of the job
The successful candidate will be employed as part of the Evidence Team working in a supportive, dynamic and fast-moving environment. You will work closely with our network of citizen scientists to support their efforts to measure water quality in their local area. This will involve distributing equipment and PPE, responding to their queries, and visiting sites with them to discuss local pollution issues and potential solutions.
