Job Description

We’re looking for an exceptional Legacy Administration Team Leader to play a critical role in safeguarding and maximising one of Marie Curie’s most significant income streams. This is a senior operational role suited to someone with large-charity experience, a strong commercial mindset, and the confidence to manage a high-volume, high-value caseload in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll oversee a team of three Legacy Officers, providing expert guidance, coaching and performance management while maintaining accountability for a portfolio of around 900 active cases. Alongside this, you’ll personally manage approximately 50 complex and contentious matters, including litigation-related cases, ensuring Marie Curie’s interests are protected through robust decision-making, cost-benefit analysis and close collaboration with our legal team.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, support and develop three Legacy Officers, ensuring high performance, quality assurance and clear progression pathways.
• Hold oversight and accountability for 900+ legacy cases, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely administration.
• Manage a personal caseload of 50 complex and contentious matters, including litigation, disputes and reputationally sensitive issues.
• Work closely with the legal team, executors, solicitors and co-beneficiaries to protect Marie Curie’s entitlement.
• Apply strong commercial judgement, undertaking cost-benefit analysis and making informed decisions on behalf of the charity.
• Monitor KPIs, SLAs and quality standards, ensuring consistent excellence across the team.
• Provide expert technical guidance on wills, probate, tax, trusts and multi-jurisdictional UK estate administration.
• Support process improvement, systems optimisation and operational best practice.
• Deputise for the Legacy Administration Manager when required.

Skills & Experience Needed

• Proven line management experience, including performance management, coaching and developing staff.
• Significant experience in a large charity legacy administration team, ideally handling income of £20m+ annually.
• Demonstrable experience managing contentious and complex legacy cases, including litigation and dispute resolution.
• Advanced technical knowledge of wills, probate, trusts, tax and estate administration across multiple UK jurisdictions.
• Strong commercial mindset, able to assess risk, analyse costs and make confident, informed decisions.
• High-volume caseload management experience, with exceptional organisational skills and the ability to prioritise under pressure.
• Excellent stakeholder management, able to influence solicitors, executors, co-beneficiaries and internal teams.
• Exceptional attention to detail, especially when reviewing legal documentation, estate accounts and financial information.
• Strong systems capability, ideally with experience using FirstClass4 or similar legacy administration platforms.

Role

The Programme Officer will manage day-to-day relationships with Degrees’ research groups based in the Latin America and Caribbean region, ensure smooth grant administration, and support regional events.

Key Responsibilites

Grantees

• Being the first point of contact for our grantees and stakeholders, including volunteer research collaborators. 
• Supporting research teams to gain access to, for example, modelling data. 

Grant management 

• Grant management, including onboarding and ongoing administrative support for the grantees of the various research funds at Degrees. 
• Processing payments.  
• Supporting the monitoring, evaluation and learning process in relation to programmatic activities. 

Events

• Working closely with the Events Manager, other regional Programme Officers and Policy Engagement staff to organise international events, including regional workshops in Latin America and the Caribbean.  

Administration

• Support the building and improvement of internal processes. 
• Contributing to the monthly call and research seminars. 
• Provide ad-hoc support as needed, for example, financial administrative support for grants and programmatic events, note-taking, organising travel, inputs to communications, working with Degrees’ senior management, board, volunteers, and partners. 

Key relationships

• Within the Programmes team forge close working relations with Programmes Director, Programmes Manager, other Programme Officers, Events Manager, Staff Scientist and Scientific Writing and Publishing Lead.
• Develop strong working relations with colleagues from the following teams i) Operations, ii) Policy & Engagement and iii) Communications. 
• Provide ongoing support for Degrees funded scientists based in Latin America and the Caribbean. 

Qualifications

We are seeking a dynamic self-starter based in the UK, with experience in planning and running international events as well as academic workshops. As Degrees is still operating as a relatively small but growing team, the successful candidate will be flexible and motivated – prepared to turn their hand to whatever needs doing to deliver Degrees’ programme of work.

Essential

• A university degree in a relevant subject such as international development, international relations, public policy or earth sciences.
• At least two years’ experience.
• An understanding of climate change science and associated development challenges.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

What we are looking for:

Job Title: Major Gifts Lead

We’re looking for a confident, experienced fundraiser to lead major-gift fundraising — securing transformational gifts from high-net-worth individuals. This individual will also assist with building wealth-adviser relationships that generate referral leads. You’ll own the full pipeline: prospecting, cultivation, making direct asks, closing and stewardship.

The ideal candidate will be excited to cultivate networks of wealth managers, private-client teams and other advisers to HNWIs, and to convert adviser introductions into committed support. Importantly, you’ll also prospect independently for major gifts outside those referral streams.

To succeed you’ll master three distinct fundraising pitches: a business case for advisers; an impact case to persuade donors to support our portfolio charities; and a systems-change case to win backing for GRP’s operating costs (salaries, office costs, etc) to keep the charity running fee-free.

You’ll be comfortable making direct asks for funding, with evidence of having closed high-value gifts or multi-year commitments. You’ll be willing to roll up your sleeves and get hands-on with everyday cultivation tasks. You’ll thrive in a small team, taking initiative and juggling priorities. Crucially, you’ll care deeply about climate and nature.

Experience required:

Substantial experience in frontline major gifts fundraising (as a guide, likely 5+ years), or an exceptional track record in adjacent fields (private client advisory, philanthropy advisory, etc).

Main duties and responsibilities:

Major gifts to GRP’s portfolio of charities

• Prospect, cultivate and convert major gifts from individuals to support GRP’s charity portfolio.
• Act as principal point of contact for HNW client referrals from GRP’s wealth-adviser network.
• Source and qualify major gift leads outside the adviser network and add them to the pipeline.
• Prepare tailored cases for support, bespoke asks and gift agreements for portfolio donors.
• Coordinate with team to ensure timely, high-quality, bespoke stewardship.

HNW wealth adviser relationships

• Prospect, cultivate and manage relationships with wealth managers, family offices, private-client teams, philanthropy advisers, etc as a referral stream for GRP.
• ​Present GRP’s proposition to advisers (meetings, presentations, webinars) and design adviser-facing materials when necessary.
• Develop initiatives to generate adviser referrals (events, webinars, co-branded materials) and track referral performance.
• Target and visit high-potential jurisdictions (e.g. Jersey, Guernsey) and other adviser hubs (est. once per month).

Major gifts to GRP’s operating costs

• Prospect, cultivate and convert major gifts to GRP’s core operating costs.
• Prepare business-case and budget materials that explain the strategic case for core funding.
• Pursue appropriate institutional core funders (trusts, foundations, family foundations) and draft proposals where needed.

Location: Centrally located, light and airy office on Regent Street, London. Minimum one day per week in the office. Approx. one day London/UK travel per week.

Reporting to our Head of Legal, this role will see you responsible for establishing, monitoring and maintaining effective and compliant data protection processes and ensuring good practice throughout RBL and the Group, including subsidiaries and branches.

Devising and developing RBLs data protection strategy and approach, you will lead in ensuring RBLs compliance with all GDPR/data protection requirements. An experienced team/people manager, you will be eager to lead a busy and successful function.

You will be contracted to our London, Haig House Hub with a minimum expectation of two days per week working in person at the Hub and flexibility for working remotely/at home when not on site.

The Special Projects Manager will work closely with our international partners and the wider organisation and will report to our Head of Programmes.

• exploring options for social business models, and assessing how they can be best applied to animal welfare in low-income settings

This is an exciting role in our committed policy team leading the fight to end child poverty in the UK. The government has just published a UK wide cross-government child poverty strategy, and made some historic commitments to reduce child poverty including scrapping the two-child limit and expanding free school meals in England. However, there is more to do, and this is a great time to join CPAG as we look to monitor the impact of these changes and influence policy makers and parliamentarians to ensure child poverty is high up the agenda.

We are looking for someone with a track record of communicating complex policy areas in an accessible manner to a range of non-specialist audiences. You will have knowledge of parliamentary processes and the different advocacy levers that can be used to influence change. You will enjoy working collaboratively to identify policy issues and develop solutions, working closely with colleagues across the organisation as well as externally.

In addition, in a senior policy officer we are looking for someone to take a lead role in developing CPAG’s policy and research programme, including leading the delivery of research projects, helping to shape our press and campaigns work, and contributing to the development of future projects including fundraising.

The postholder will be working in a fast moving, high profile and complex policy environment and will need to balance short term priorities with long term objectives. In this newly created role you will develop our work on influencing and telling the truth about poverty, this is one of two objectives for the charity.  You will help build relationships of influence within the Church of England, Government and other decision makers to use our stories and impact to show the difference churches and faith groups can make in ending material and relational poverty.  You will develop policy positions on areas of CUF’s work in relation to poverty that will give a firm basis for our work, and that we will be able to speak out on with confidence and knowledge based on connection to grassroots churches and organisations.  You will develop a robust mechanism for reporting on impact, which goes beyond just evaluating our work but demonstrates the difference that faith based social action can make on ending poverty together.

In this role, you’ll be one of the first points of contact for our incredible supporters who are ‘doing their own’ fundraising and you’ll also play an important role in the day to day running of the mass ‘DIY fundraising’ programme.

This will include responding to supporter enquiries, sending out fundraising materials, and managing our community fundraising Facebook group.

Providing operational support to the wider team is a key part of this role. This will include processing invoices, working with external suppliers to replenish and manage stock levels, and accurately delivering processes such as coding income and thanking supporters.

To shape, lead, ensure resourcing and support delivery for all ASI's programme and advocacy work, so as to maximise the organisation's impact on modern slavery. The role combines strategic, advocacy, management and operational elements.

Key Tasks:

• identify how ASI can maximise its contribution to tacking modern slavery by identifying current needs and opportunities
• support Programme Managers in their ongoing delivery of programmes
• liaise closely with Programme, Fundraising and Comms Teams
• ensure proper design, management, monitoring and reporting on externally and internally funded work,
• with the CEO, to link with governments, external partners, businesses, networks universities/research centres and others to build the positive relations and shared activity needed to understand and tackle modern slavery and keep ASI strong
• external spokesperson on issues related to modern slavery
• work with Comms and Fundraising to identify stories and opportunities, promote the organisation and describe our achievements

About the role

As News and Media Manager, you will lead a hard-working and experienced team of media experts to bring to life Crisis’ work, using print, digital and broadcast journalism to advocate for the solutions needed to tackle homelessness and inspire the public, businesses and politicians to join our mission to end homelessness for good. You will oversee the development and delivery of high-profile media and communications campaigns, including our annual Christmas appeal, and help to build our brand.

With homelessness at record levels there has never been a more critical time to join Crisis and ensure tackling homelessness is firmly on the news agenda.
About you

You will have significant experience of working in a challenging, fast-paced news and media environment to secure high-profile coverage. You will also have experience of leading and managing individuals or teams and motivating people to achieve objectives and overcome setbacks. The ability to navigate competing priorities and influence senior internal and external stakeholders is essential.

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge and experience of working with the media to help secure policy change at a national government level, demonstrate ability to secure high profile consumer media to support income generation and have proven experience when it comes to handling reputational risk. You will also have exceptional news sense, with the ability to take a creative approach when seeking out new media opportunities.

In brief, this role involves:

Being the first point of contact for any IT related issues at Sunbury Court, in terms of reported issues from Presenters, Delegates, Customers or Staff. Assist personnel and delegates with Microsoft 365 request including the desktop suite and maintain the delegate devices held at ICO.

The role will also assist in ICO program tasks and provide any further administrative support required.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• A level or equivalent within an IT Discipline (A degree in computer science or equivalent).
• A broad technical knowledge of IT, PC’s/peripherals, and their architecture
