About the role
As our Global Accounts Receivable Assistant, you’ll be part of our Finance team, helping to maintain timely and accurate recording of supporter income across our global entities. This is a key role supporting the financial processes that underpin our fundraising activity and wider mission to end factory farming.
As our Global Accounts Receivable Assistant, you’ll be responsible for:
- Recording global donations accurately - Downloading and posting accounts receivable income received for all entity bank accounts, ensuring clear audit trails are maintained.
- Supporting accurate financial coding - Amending postings to reflect accurate campaign codes and responding to reconciliation queries around donation recording.
- Flagging issues and queries appropriately - Escalating refunds, disputes, discrepancies and inaccuracies to the right manager or senior colleague for review.
- Supporting improvements to procedures and systems - Helping to test system and procedural updates, query discrepancies in existing processes and provide constructive feedback where needed.
- Working collaboratively across teams - Building effective working relationships with colleagues across Finance, Marketing and Fundraising, and directing donation queries to the correct point of contact.
About you
To succeed as our Global Accounts Receivable Assistant, you’ll be organised, accurate and proactive, with a positive approach to routine administrative work and a genuine interest in supporting a purpose-led Finance function.
Skills and experience you’ll need to bring:
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications, internet use and confidence using basic Excel formulas.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to set high standards for your own work and maintain accurate records.
- Sound judgement and the confidence to make timely decisions at the appropriate level, including knowing when to escalate to a manager or Financial Controller.
- Good time management skills, with the ability to plan and organise your workload and manage busy periods effectively.

Role Overview:
The role will be carried out in the finance department, which is situated within Battersea Park. The role will be reporting to the Head of Finance. Regular duties would initially consist of, but not be limited to, the below. They will be reviewed on a regular basis to ensure they are in line with development needs.
Central Services ensuresthe company operates smoothly and assists in working towards Enables strategic direction. Supporting the various services that make up Enable, Central Services consists of small and high output teams including Human Resources, Marcomms, Operations and Finance. Together, these teams make up the foundation of our business, driving our mission and fostering growth and development.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting processes, delivering to the agreed timetable.
- Line manage the Finance Officer, providing guidance, objective setting, appraisal and performance management.
- Prepare and post all month-end journals, including accruals, prepayments and payroll journals.
- Post deferred and accrued income entries in Sage Intacct in line with the organisation’s revenue recognition policy.
- Run monthly depreciation, post fixed asset journals and maintain the fixed asset register.
- Process internal and external recharges.
- Review the bank and credit card reconciliations prepared by the Finance Officer and the debtors control account reconciliation prepared by the Credit Controller.
- Check the trial balance against the management accounts and prepare management accounts narratives and variance commentary for review by the Head of Finance.
- Compile and analyse financial data to create accurate and timely reports for management review.
- Take responsibility for all balance sheet reconciliations other than the debtors control account (prepared by the Credit Controller) and the bank and credit card accounts (prepared by the Finance Officer), ensuring reconciling items are investigated and cleared promptly.
- Review payment runs prepared by the Finance Officer ahead of approval by the Head of Finance, deputising as approver in the Head of Finance’s absence.
- Approve routine accounts receivable credit notes in line with delegated authority; credit notes above the delegated threshold and all write-offs are approved by the Head of Finance.
- Support the Credit Controller with receivables adjustments, write-offs and account queries.
- Apply accounting policies in line with relevant accounting standards and ensure they are followed across the organisation, escalating any issues to the Head of Finance.
- Assist with the preparation of the annual financial statements under the Charities SORP (FRS 102).
- Support the annual audit, preparing working papers and responding to auditor queries.
- Prepare and submit ONS returns.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flow forecasts.
- Business partner with cross-functional teams, providing financial expertise, guidance and training as required.
- Provide recommendations to minimise risk and improve financial performance: identify areas for improvement, propose solutions and implement agreed changes.
- Provide Sage Intacct training and support to non-finance users.
- Act as the first point of contact for junior members of staff with operational and technical queries.
Skills and Experience:
- Qualified Accountant - ACCA/ACA/CIMA.
- Experience operating at Management Accountant level within a charity or not-for-profit environment.
- Knowledge of relevant accounting systems. Strong IT literacy, Microsoft Excel in particular.
- Demonstrable experience of owning a month-end close and full balance sheet reconciliation cycle.
- Strong attention to detail and able to produce work to a high level of accuracy.
- Good problem-solving ability.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain financial information to non-finance colleagues.
- Ability to prioritise and work independently to deadlines.
- Experience of Sage Intacct.
- Knowledge of the Charities SORP (FRS 102) and fund accounting.

Key responsibilities:
To work jointly with the Mental Health Practitioner in conducting assessments, including risk assessment, and to work with patients to support them in identifying their socially determined needs and goals, provide self-management tools and facilitate the development of personal support plans

- To support and supervise any peer support workers linked to PCN
- To work with the service to identify opportunities to expand provision particularly in local communities where there is a lack of service provision identified
- To broker and establish new partnerships between public and voluntary sector agencies to enhance service delivery and access to services
- To develop and sustain professional relationships with service users, partner agencies and appropriate external agencies

About the role
The Policy and Public Affairs Manager will establish and lead Woman’s Trust’s policy and public affairs function. · Promote events via social media, email campaigns, posters, and local press in collaboration with marketing teams.
· Manage and grow the North West’s CSSC TikTok presence, including content planning, filming, editing, posting, and community engagement.
· Create engaging, on-brand short-form video content tailored to target audiences.
· Monitor performance metrics and use insights to optimise content strategy and increase reach and engagement.
· Stay up to date with emerging social media trends, tools, and platform updates.

· Proven experience in planning and delivering events.
· Strong organisational and time-management skills.
· Ability to manage budgets and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
· Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required.
· Ability to analyse member insights to inform event planning and attract potential new members.
· Ability to work collaboratively with regional teams to support membership growth and positive member experiences.
· Ability to build rapport with volunteers and identify the support needed for successful event delivery.
· Confidence in using IT systems and ticketing platforms to promote events across appropriate channels.
Desirable:
· Experience working with community groups, charities, membership organisations or not for profits.
· Knowledge of health and safety and safeguarding procedures.
· Familiarity with marketing or PR for events.
· First Aid or event safety training.
· Previous experience with ticketing platforms or willingness to learn.
· Understanding of how comms and events align with one another.
· Data literacy or willingness to understand some basic data analytics
· Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel where appropriate
