The NEST service provides trauma informed, community-based support to young women and girls aged 14-25 at risk of entering or becoming entrenched in the Criminal Justice System. The role of the NEST Advocate is to provide dedicated one-to-one support to young women and girls, building trusted relationships and coordinating practical support to build their confidence and help stabilise their lives across areas including education, housing, health, employment and interaction with justice services.
As a YWG Senior Advocate you will be responsible for managing a small caseload of young women and girls, while also supervising two YWG Advocates, providing formal and informal supervision and support. This will include oversight of safeguarding for the girls and young women they work with and supporting the quality control of the service, including regular dip-checks and data input.

We are seeking an organised, enthusiastic and proactive individual to provide maternity cover and coordinate NFFN Scotland’s Knowledge Exchange (KE) programme of activities.
The sucessful candidate will have a sound understanding of Scotland’s farming and crofting sectors, strong organisational and communication skills, and the ability to maintain and develop relationships and inspire change. This role involves hitting the ground running, working closely with farmers, crofters, partner organisations, and the wider NFFN team to deliver a programme of impactful events, grow the network, and support knowledge sharing to accelerate the adoption of nature friendly farming practices.
This maternity cover role will play a key role in delivering NFFN Scotland’s KE strategy, contributing to the growth of our network and raising awareness of nature-friendly farming across the country. They will work closely with the NFFN Scotland Manager and the farmer-led steering group, as well as other NFFN staff involved in farmer and public engagement, to ensure alignment with the wider organisational strategy. AAFDA is currently funded by statutory bodies, trusts and foundations, corporates, events and individuals. Under your management, you will identify, cultivate and grow these existing and new fundraising streams.As AAFDA’s Fundraising and Grants Manager, you will be responsible for oversight and growth of voluntary and statutory funding income, including from individuals (regular and one-off gifts, major donors and legacy giving), community groups, trusts and foundations, corporates, the statutory sector (including Police and Crime Commissioners) and other benefactors. The young people, children and families that we support are at the heart of everything we do at Mermaids. We have ambitious plans to expand the reach and impact of our youth work. To support this growth, we are recruiting an Interim Youth Officer who will play a key role in overseeing our youth programmes and activities. The successful candidate will help increase our capacity to engage with more young people, provide high-quality support, and ensure the continued delivery of our core youth services while contributing to the development of new opportunities for young people. This role is fully remote, full time with a four day working week (32 hours).

Are you a customer-focused individual with recent experience of providing specialist level debt advice? Then join Shelter as a Specialist Debt Adviser supporting client-facing debt advisers with their complex casework, contributing to resources and helping us to influence the debt advice sector.
About the Team
Our Specialist Debt Advice service works with front-line debt advisers based across England & Wales, providing support with their complex case work. The service currently operates between 9-5 Monday to Friday, with advisers offering live support to clients on a rota basis throughout the week.
About the Role
As a Specialist Debt Adviser, you will be responsible for handling phone and email enquiries to the service, using diagnostic questioning to fully establish the caller's enquiry and providing detailed and timely responses. We'll also rely on you to identify and act upon any emergency enquiries and prioritise your workload accordingly. Helping our Team to produce written and on-line content and provide service users with the latest developments in debt regulation, policy and good practice will be important too.

About you
You are someone who champions user-focused advice and who can take complex language and processes and make them easy to understand for professional advisers and other audiences. You will need excellent all-round understanding of debt advice, with experience of producing written and on-line resources, including guidance documents, webinars and attendance at networking events, providing service users with the latest debt regulation, policy and good practice. You have good typing skills and proficiency using Microsoft office applications and case management and reporting systems.

We are currently looking for a Policy Specialist to join Mencap. This position sits within the Policy and Public Affairs teams of Mencap’s Campaigns, Advocacy and Activism Directorate (CAA). You will work closely with our influencing, information and advice, campaigning, and research work, as well as sector partners.
This is an exciting new role to deliver policy change and enhance the rights of people with a learning disability. At a key time to influence health reform, we are seeking a policy specialist to shape policy work that reflects the needs and experiences of people with a learning disability and their families. Working within the policy team, you will be responsible for developing evidence-based policy work and influencing decision-makers.
This is a 4-day a week position (30 hours per week). We are flexible with your work location, but there may be some occasional travel needed to our London office or Westminster.
