The Director of Creative Programmes is the critical role in ensuring that the charity can continue to deliver for the communities and creatives of Birmingham and the West Midlands. It will work with colleagues and external partners to deliver the Hippodrome’s mission by building a sustainable strategy to have an even greater impact on our region. The role will also play an important role on the Hippodrome’s team of Directors to ensure that there is a creative voice in all parts of the organisation’s decision-making.
The post focuses on three key areas: young people and education, access, artist development and site-specific/festival work. This work is central to the Hippodrome’s vision of ‘a distinctive, world-class Birmingham cultural scene with the Hippodrome at its heart’. The post-holder will be expected to work with their team to ensure these areas keep evolving to respond to changes within the cultural landscape. As well as motivating and developing Creative Programmes team, the role is responsible for building and maintaining external relationships with the creative community of the region. Over the last five years we have increased the number of individuals and organisation supporting the charity from 800 to more than 3,500 a year. The charity is set to build on this success and aims to continue this growth, so that we can reach more patients and provide additional support at a time when it is more critical than ever for kidney patients.
The Corporate Partnership Manager will play a key role in this growth. Our Corporate Partnership income has grown from zero in 2020 to c£2.3 million in 2025. It is a very exciting time to be joining the charity and our Fundraising team.
Primarily, you will be responsible for building engagement and driving new income via charity of the year partnerships, corporate partnerships, and employee fundraising. You will manage the Corporate Partnership Officer who is developing a growing portfolio of supporters across different sectors. You will also work closely with the Events Manager, Trust & Foundation Manager, Head of Fundraising and Director of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications as well as the wider Fundraising team to promote and support all opportunities to drive corporate income growth.
Alongside the Director of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications who takes a special interest in the charity’s Corporate Partnerships, you will be tasked with planning, implementing, and delivering the activities, programmes and processes required to grow corporate income from c£2.3m in 2025 to even greater levels over the coming years.
You will do this by stewarding the significant number of existing relationships and partnerships we already hold and maximising any opportunities that exist via our current partnerships and relationships. A key part of this role will require you to develop new opportunities and secure significant income (5-and-6 figure partnerships) through proactive engagement to and through our supporters, beneficiaries, networks, and contacts.
The right candidate will have a proven record of generating strategic partnerships that result in 5-and 6-figure corporate income, building strong and rewarding relationships, with stewardships skills that generate long term support for the charity. You will be a driven and enthusiastic fundraiser with experience of cultivating new relationships across a range of businesses and sectors.

The BACCH Education and Training Administrator is a newly created role supporting the British Association for Community Child Health (BACCH), a specialty group of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. This role will take the lead on setting up and delivering educational courses and events for clinicians working in Community Child Health, including webinars, regional events, and the BACCH Annual Scientific Meeting.
Reporting to the BACCH Executive Officer, you will coordinate the development of a structured education and training offer, manage logistics for online and in-person courses, and support initiatives such as trainee-led learning and paid short courses. You will also support BACCH’s six affiliated specialist groups with administrative and event coordination as needed.
The role requires a highly organised and self-motivated individual with experience in event planning, digital platforms, and administrative systems. You’ll also maintain contact databases, filing systems, and internal procedures, while providing occasional cover for the wider team.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting educational events or working in professional membership organisations, along with strong communication, planning and IT skills. A background in healthcare, training, or children’s services and knowledge of website or budget management is desirable

Support Through Sport CIO, based in Nottingham, delivers sport-based intervention, mentoring, and youth work programmes to thousands of disadvantaged young people, empowering them to develop pro-social behaviours and providing a lasting positive impact within underserved communities.

Role Overview
Support Through Sport CIO is seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to deliver our innovative School and Community Navigator programme throughout Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. The Senior School and Community Navigator will lead a team of three Navigators across four schools in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. The role combines direct support to children and young people aged 10–17 with leadership and coordination responsibilities, ensuring delivery is of the highest standard and in line with Support Through Sport policies and project specifications.
Working closely with schools, families, and local agencies, the Senior Navigator will provide supervision and guidance to staff, build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, and ensure effective safeguarding, monitoring, and reporting systems are in place. You will work with young people aged 10–17 in community settings, building trust-based relationships and providing early intervention to reduce risk factors linked to crime, violence, and exploitation.
The role combines youth work, mentoring, and community engagement, supporting young people to tackle challenges such as disengagement in education, substance use, poverty, discrimination, and school exclusion. You will act as an advocate for young people, bridging gaps with the wider community while promoting respect, empowerment, and positive life choices whilst working utilising a child-centred and collaborative approach.
At Support Through Sport, we use a range of creative approaches, including sport as a diversionary tool, to build brighter futures and create safer communities. Flexibility is essential, as sessions may take place during evenings and weekends, in addition to typical school hours. The Corporate Volunteering Manager plays a central role in this by managing our successful and impactful Corporate Volunteering Programme. This crucial work helps change us to the inter-generational narrative about numeracy in the UK. The programme has been running for three years now, and this year’s activity looks set to have meaningful impact on at least 17,000 children across the UK.
You will be responsible for ensuring that volunteers are adequately trained, for recruiting appropriate schools for them to visit, and all the admin and reporting that supports the programme.
We are looking for someone who can ‘own the programme’, is committed to improving our processes and the efficiency of delivery, with strong line management skills, and a commitment to the professional development for the Corporate Volunteering Programmes Assistant.
National Numeracy is based in Brighton, East Sussex, but we are offering significant remote/hybrid and flexible working with this role. - We support many other teams across the organisation involved in the welfare of our cats in care. These teams include our operational colleagues, the cat welfare team and our team of regional behaviourists

We’re looking to grow our delivery team with a brand new role that is responsible for processing the referrals we receive for the Settle Programme as well as holding assessment meetings as and when necessary. Torbay’s Community Helpline was established during the Covid pandemic and has since been developed by the local community into a central access point to the voluntary and community sector as a whole. Since 2021, it has also been the front door for new Adult Social Care referrals in the area through a unique partnership with the local statutory sector. Providing the best possible support to local residents the Helpline’s strapline ‘One Call – That’s All’ sums up the holistic approach. Individuals and families can access a wide range of support from food parcels to mental health support, help with isolation to debt advice etc. The Helpline links into over 100 voluntary sector organisations locally and into grassroots networks of residents offering support to each other. The Helpline has a strengths-based approach to its operations, with callers often helping others after they have received some support.
