WCCM seeks to appoint an experienced, creative, and highly motivated Grant and Major Donor Fundraising Manager to lead fundraising and grant management across a global organisation dedicated to the teaching of Christian Meditation.
Working to the Executive Director, you will interact with our decentralised finance, marketing and communications staff and volunteers.
Together, you will nurture Major Donor relationships and create and manage appropriate donor stewardship schemes and rationalise our income streams.
You’ll ensure grant reporting and management is kept on track whilst developing targeted proposals for new funding from sympathetic donors in the arena of Trusts and foundations.
You will work to support both our teaching and resourcing of meditation and the running of our retreat centre in Bonnevaux, near Poitiers in France.
An excellent writer with excellent financial and budgeting skills, you will be adept at pulling together relevant, succinct and compelling information for our donor reports and bids.
You’ll work with communications staff to develop impactful donor communications which enhance our accountability and inspire renewed major donations.
You will have a demonstrable track record in winning grants as well as in the stewardship of major donors.
Occasional trips to France.

The Lead Trusts & Grants Officer is responsible for developing and delivering income from mid-value grant making funders, notably trusts and foundations. Purpose
The Fundraising Development Officer supports the delivery of our individual giving programme, helping to nurture current supporters and attract new ones.
You will be responsible for building our regular giving support, implementing supporter journeys and co-ordinating our annual appeals. You will also work closely with the Head of Fundraising in developing our major donor plans, and support with other individual giving channels, including in-memory giving and legacy giving.

- Co-ordinate and deliver our appeals cycle, working closely with colleagues across the charity to collate appeal content, including case studies, statistics and images.
- Support the delivery and development of our major donor plans, identifying prospects within our supporter base and assisting with stewardship plans.
- Support the delivery and development of our plans for building in-memory and legacy giving, including the administering of gifts, stewardship of supporters and contributing to cultivation events.
- Provide regular updates on progress against agreed objectives and contribute to wider departmental fundraising reports as required.
- Attend CWT events as appropriate to establish new contacts, develop existing relationships, and raise the profile of CWT with potential supporters.

Birmingham Botanical Gardens (BBG) is looking for a highly motivated Development Officer with experience to join the small but dedicated Development Team to raise funds to retore and preserve the Gardens for the benefit of everyone now, and for future generations.
Purpose of Role
This exciting new role is vital to increase the income generating capacity of BBG’s Development Team to enable the charity to deliver its purpose and major development over the next 4+ years. In July BBG was awarded an NLHF grant of £9.075m, and has successfully raised over 90% of the capital funds needed. The priority is to close the capital funding gap in accordance with our fundraising strategy and increase funding for other projects and the day-to-day operation the charity, long term. BBG receives no public subsidy and must raise all income from visitors, trading, events and fundraising. The Development Officer post has been created to increase fundraised income for the charity, cultivating and stewarding an expanded and sustained funding and supporter base.
In line with current priorities, the postholder will be required to raise commercial sponsorship income, and income from major donors/individuals to meet capital and operational targets/KPI’s. The postholder will be expected to create sponsor/donor packages, deliver cultivation events and steward donors and supporters on all aspects of fundraising as directed. The postholder will have experience of managing sponsorship agreements to ensure value, compliance and delivery of benefits.
The role will share responsibility for the management of data, compliance and stewardship of growing funding streams and support the administration of the Development Function. The Development Team raises and manages funds from grants, trusts and foundations, individuals, organisations, business, legacies, etc, and the new postholder will work with the highly effective and dedicated team of Development Director and Development Manager and with the wider BBG team.
Key Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced trusts and foundations fundraiser to join our team. This role will be a key part of our fundraising team, managing a portfolio of trust and foundations with the capacity to give up to £25,000 and the opportunity to assist with major grant funding bids which will enable us to drive forward our ambitious goals.
You will deliver high quality written applications and reports in line with funder deadlines and keep in touch with donors and prospects via phone, virtually and in face-to-meetings and visits.
We are looking for someone who has:

Key responsibilities and tasks to meet the fundraising strategic targets:
- Income generation
- Managing a portfolio of Trusts and Foundations to complete funding applications and, working with the Grants and Project Development Manager, to agree an annual programme of grant and trust applications to meet defined income targets.
- Assisting the Grants and Project Development Manager on major grant-funding applications and aligning smaller funds to secure match-funding for larger projects.
- Carrying out prospect research to identify new trust and grant funding opportunities.
- Fund Relationship Management
- Stewarding an agreed portfolio of existing Trust and Foundation relationships, ensuring funder contributions are appropriately recognised and acknowledged and that grant criteria are met.
- Co-ordinating reports to funders, ensuring reports meet requirements and are sent on time.
- Developing new relationships with trust and foundation prospects identified to secure new income.
- Ensuring data on grant income and funders are updated and maintained to a high standard on the Trusts’ customer relationship management system (Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT) and SWT SharePoint.
- Assisting with the administration of the Trust’s Programme Management Board (PMB) and project development documentation, helping develop cases of support and content for funding applications.
- Supporting Wilder Fundraising Strategy
- Highlighting funding opportunities to SWT teams and contributing to funding applications led by other teams.
- Liaising with SWT Finance team to ensure grants are properly recorded, allocated and spending tracked.
- Providing additional support to the Fundraising & Marketing Team (F&M) and other SWT teams, as required and agreed with your line manager.

Background Information and Purpose of Post
As part of our ambitious plans to significantly increase private fundraising, we are looking for a new strategic direction in securing relationships with and income from high-net-worth individuals.
The Philanthropy Specialist at Humanity & Inclusion UK is a new senior fundraising position with responsibility for planning, identifying, cultivating, and managing major donor relationships to secure significant funding, in line with the new global Major Giving Strategy 2026 - 2030.
The purpose of the post is to:
· Develop and deliver HI UK’s strategy for high-net-worth individuals.
· Lead on the new Capital Campaign, 2026-2030, for HI UK.
· Work closely with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and family foundations to develop high-value philanthropic partnerships and ensure sustained, long-term support.
· Secure five- and six-figure major gifts from a diverse and sustainable base of major donors.
· Develop your own prospect pipeline and provide excellent cultivation of your prospects to produce committed, long-term donors.
· Manage existing partnerships and donors to a high standard.
· Report to and collaborate with the Global Specialist in Major Giving (based in the UK) on the delivery and implementation of your own ambitious philanthropy strategy for HI UK, in line with UK and Federation priorities.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Partnerships
You will have responsibility for developing a new strategy for high-net-worth individual support and you will lead the delivery of this strategy to secure high-value philanthropic partnerships under the responsibility of the Global Specialist in Major Giving.
Capital Campaign
Our new Capital Campaign will be an invaluable tool for you in developing funding from high-net-worth individuals in the UK. You will lead on its launch and recruit a Campaign Committee, stewarding them to deliver results.
Relationship Management
You will lead on the development and stewardship of long-term relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and family foundations.
Income Growth
You will drive the growth of an existing pipeline of high-net-worth individuals and develop this pipeline with new supporters from our individual giving stream and philanthropists who are new to HI, to secure significant gifts.
Collaboration
You will work closely with HI's Global Specialist in Major Giving, HI UK Trustees, our Federal Major Giving team, and international colleagues, to develop compelling proposals and provide timely impact reporting.
Stewardship
You will ensure exceptional donor stewardship and provide a high-quality experience for supporters at every stage of engagement.
Cultivation events
You will initiate and run high quality cultivation events for your donors and prospects, to form part of their stewardship journey.
Data Management
You will accurately manage donor records, communications, and reporting through our CRM.
Other duties
· Maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with HI UK colleagues, the Federal fundraising and communication teams, and Major Giving counterparts in other HI national associations in Europe and North America.
· Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations and high standards.
