Working arrangements
This is fixed term contract until December 2027, covering family leave.
This is a field-based role covering Lancashire & Greater Manchester which includes, Greater Manchester, Salford and Lancashire.
This role requires regular travel within the area, and occasionally to other parts of the UK. You must live in the Lancashire & Greater Manchester region or be willing to relocate.
You must have a full UK driving licence at the time of application with access to your own vehicle.
There will be a requirement for flexible out of hours working to support occasional evening and weekend activity. You will be compensated for this with time off in lieu.

Key responsibilities:
- Lead the co-development of evidence-based policy positions with iHV’s clinical team, members and partners.
- Monitor policy developments and identify opportunities to influence change.
- Produce high-quality briefings, consultation responses and reports.

About you:
We are looking for the following essential skills and experience:
- Strong understanding of UK policy-making processes and child and family health/ early years policy – ideally informed by experience working within or closely with government or public sector organisations.
- Exceptional writing skills, with a proven ability to produce authoritative, high impact briefings, reports and policy documents that are clear, persuasive and tailored to diverse audiences.
- Highly developed analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and evidence from multiple sources and translate this into clear, practical and actionable policy recommendations.

Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to providing specialised nursing care and support for young people aged 13–24 with cancer. Every day, seven young people in the UK hear the words “you have cancer”, and Teenage Cancer Trust ensures they do not face it alone.
The charity funds specialist nurses and youth support teams in hospitals across the UK and provides vital emotional, practical and psychological support for young people and their families during and after treatment.
Regional fundraising is a core income stream for Teenage Cancer Trust, generating income through a combination of community and corporate fundraising. Supporters are often personally connected to the cause, including young people, families and communities directly impacted by cancer, making this a highly rewarding fundraising environment.
Teenage Cancer Trust is now seeking a Senior Relationship Manager (West Scotland) to grow and develop income across the West of Scotland. With an individual income target of c.£130k and a combined Scotland regional target of c.£260k across East and West Scotland, this role will play a key part in strengthening existing relationships while identifying and developing new fundraising opportunities across a region with significant growth potential.
Reporting to the Regional Fundraising Area Manager, you will be responsible for building long-term supporter relationships and developing strategic area plans to maximise fundraising opportunities. You will also work closely with frontline nursing teams, volunteers and colleagues across the organisation, ensuring supporters experience the impact of their fundraising while helping identify new opportunities across both community and corporate audiences.

About the Independent Service Manager role
We are looking for an experienced childcare professional to manage our England wide service for complaints under the Children Act (1989) and Independent Person service for Secure Accommodation Reviews for children placed in secure children’s home under section 25 of the Children Act (1989).
The role will be responsible for the delivery of this national service managing a group of committed and dedicated Associate Independent Persons, as well as managing the relationships with our commissioning authorities. We are seeking an experienced Conference and Events Manager to provide 12-month interim cover for our conference and events function.
The postholder will oversee the work of the Events team; consisting of an Events Coordinator and Events Administrator who are responsible for supporting the overall events programme. Role Description
The Operations and Finance Manager will play a central role in ensuring the effective day-to-day running of the Foundation. The postholder will lead on governance, administration, finance, compliance and organisational systems, ensuring the charity operates efficiently, meets its regulatory obligations and has the infrastructure required to deliver its strategic objectives.
Working closely with the Executive Director, team, Treasurer, and Trustees, the Operations and Finance Manager will oversee financial management, governance processes, organisational administration and operational planning, while also supporting fundraising activities to ensure the Foundation’s long-term sustainability and effectiveness.
Required Experience and Skills
Operations, Finance and Governance
- Proven experience in an operations or administrative management role within a charity, arts, or non-profit organisation.
- Understanding of charity governance and experience supporting Boards, Committees, or Trustees.
- Strong financial management experience, including budgeting and cash flow monitoring, invoice processing, payroll administration, project budget reconciliation, preparation of management accounts and financial reports, and coordination of year-end accounts preparation.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a track record of maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
People and Organisational Management
- Knowledge of HR processes, including recruitment, payroll, and fostering positive work culture.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential staff and organisational information.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-quality gambling treatment services across GamCare’s South region, covering Greater London and the South East.
As Treatment Service Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across a defined service footprint, ensuring services are safe, effective, well governed and focused on improving outcomes for people affected by gambling harms.
You will lead Team Leaders and multidisciplinary teams to deliver clear and consistent treatment pathways, from assessment and allocation through to intervention and aftercare. You will also oversee performance, safeguarding, quality, budgets and contractual outcomes, using data, feedback and lived experience to drive continuous improvement.
A key part of the role will be building strong relationships with commissioners, funders, NHS services, local authorities, VCSE partners and other stakeholders. You will help strengthen referral pathways, improve service integration and build confidence in gambling treatment services across a complex and changing external environment.
About you
We are looking for an experienced service leader with a strong background in health, social care, VCSE, addiction, mental health, substance misuse or another relevant complex needs environment. You will have experience managing multidisciplinary teams, delivering against performance and quality standards, and working within commissioned or partnership-based services.
You will be a confident people manager, able to support and develop Team Leaders while maintaining safe, effective and well-led services. You will bring a sound understanding of safeguarding, governance and risk, along with the ability to use data and insight to inform decisions and improve delivery.

Role Overview
The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and compliant day-to-day operations of Glitch, enabling the effective delivery and adherence to policies and regulation for the charity and team.
