• Lead on the development and delivery of paid and organic social media activity across both Family Action and Relate brands.
• Refine Family Action’s social media strategy in line with key brand, income generation and service marketing objectives

Working arrangements

The charity offers a flexible working environment, with hybrid working and an expectation to work from either their Chelsea or Sutton site 2 days per week.
Reporting into the Head of Marketing & Digital and overseeing a team of 6, you will work to significantly increase awareness of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and grow the digital marketing capability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, manage and develop high performing team members, ensuring opportunities for learning and development, supports innovation and test and learn strategies
- Lead the implementation of the digital roadmap, including the development of the digital content strategy and upskilling colleagues across the organisation in digital
- Work with colleagues across the organisation to plan and deliver brand building and fundraising marketing campaigns, support the digital team to manage schedules across social and web content and oversee the production of high quality, accurate and engaging digital content
- Oversee a programme of paid advertising by working with fundraising teams across the organisation, supporting the coordination of user journeys, and managing the relationship with the digital marketing agency
- Support the Digital Project Manager and Digital Manager in the development, launch, embedding and training for the new website

As our Marketing Manager - Mass Fundraising Acquisition (Legacy), you’ll be responsible for leading an in-house team of marketers responsible for driving mass, new customer acquisition across a portfolio of fundraising products/activities. Working with our media agency and third-party agency suppliers, you'll be responsible for the development, execution, and optimisation of multi-million pound, omni-channel marketing, and fundraising campaigns and marcomms within the overall British Heart Foundation (BHF) integrated media plan. You'll have oversight across a portfolio of fundraising activity, ensuring strategic and tactical delivery and optimisation, to deliver transformative customer experiences and drive growth in support and income through mass customer acquisition.
In this role, you'll put the customer at the heart, ensuring they feel central to our work and achievements and motivated to continue funding our research in the long-term.
About you
As our ideal candidate, you'll bring extensive and demonstrable marketing experience of designing, developing, and managing integrated, multi-channel marketing plans and delivering successful commercial outcomes through these i.e., across new customer acquisition and fundraising/income growth.
Preferably with knowledge of Legacy Marketing, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record of success in a fast-moving, effective marketing team, experience in paid media planning, and optimisation within, and across a full range of ATL channels.
Highly numerate, with excellent planning and project management skills, you'll have evidenced experience of marketing including a full understanding of different marketing approaches and an ability to use marketing to secure support across a broad range of channels.
To be successful in the role you will also have:

Working arrangements

The Role
