Radley College is seeking to appoint a dedicated and forward-thinking Radleian Society Manager to lead and develop the College’s alumni relations programme. This is a key strategic role, focused on fostering strong, lasting relationships with Old Radleians (“OR”s), current and former parents, and former staff.
Reporting to the Development Director, the post holder will be responsible for delivering an ambitious and wide-ranging engagement programme that reflects the values and vision of Radley College. This includes oversight of events, communications, digital engagement, and the facilitation of mentoring and networking initiatives through the College’s Futures Programme.
The successful applicant will
Lead a dynamic calendar of alumni and parent engagement events, including reunions, networking forums, and social gatherings
Oversee communications, both digital and print, to ensure high-quality, consistent outreach and storytelling
Act as liaison to the Radleian Society Committee and other affiliated groups, managing volunteer engagement and project delivery
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Development Office and Futures Team to connect alumni with current pupils and recent leavers
Utilise data insights to inform strategy, track engagement, and report on key outcomes
We’re seeking a passionate and strategic individual with a strong background in alumni relations, events, or community engagement. You’ll be an experienced team leader with excellent interpersonal skills and the confidence to connect with a wide range of stakeholders.

The Public Affairs Manager will be a key member of our busy External Affairs Team within the wider Policy and External Affairs directorate.
Reporting to the joint Heads of Public Affairs & Stakeholder Relations, and working closely with communications and public policy colleagues, you will play an essential role in enabling and driving engagement with parliamentary, government, political and sector stakeholders.
You will be politically astute, with experience engaging across Westminster and Whitehall with competent written and communication skills, able to both brief and prepare senior leaders within the organisation for key engagement activities as well as meeting stakeholders independently as appropriate.
Strong organisational, people and project management skills are essential; you will be responsible for managing dedicated key influencing ‘moments’ with stakeholders and partners, such as organising and managing panel events, roundtables, webinars and showcase programme visits. You will also lead the co-ordination and secretariat activity for the Youth Employment Group (YEG), working closely with the Director of Policy and External Affairs as one of the five co-chairs.
This role can be based at any of our hubs located in Birmingham, Leeds or London. We currently operate a hybrid model of two-days per week in the office and three-days from home.

Key duties and reponsibilities:
Management Role
· Based on the policies of the charity as defined by the Trustees Board (created Oct 2022 AGM), manage the affairs of the charity with due respect for its heritage, status and independence.
· Within those defined policies, take decisions that allow the development of its business activities, liaising with other Trustees as necessary, and report to the Trustees on a regular basis.
· When necessary, liaise on allocation of duties to other Trustees on a cooperative basis.
· Represent the charity at occasional public events and meetings with collaborative partners and in negotiations, e.g. NICE, ARTP, Sleep Clinics.
· Act as main point of external contact and manage that contact as appropriate.
· Take purchasing decisions within the defined responsibility of the position.
· Modernise and develop the SATA business on as cost efficient basis as possible — goal is generally self-financing.
· Explore business opportunities as appropriate.
· Identify risk, consult with other officers and recommend action for Board decision.
· Finalise move to paperless operation.
Administrative Duties
· Arrange Trustee Board Meetings.
· Manage Membership Database.
· Administer Membership Renewals.
· Register & acknowledge new memberships.
· Handle resignations, deaths and other membership issues with appropriate respect.
· Acknowledge Donations.
· Administer Gift Aid claim with Treasurer.

About you and the role
This role is key to helping us grow and empower our school and chef partners through our Membership. You’ll work closely with the Programme Manager and Procurement Manager to improve the membership offering and build a strong community of schools, chefs, and suppliers.
Your work will be varied, from managing membership administration to building supplier relationships and helping with communication between schools and stakeholders. As the membership grows, you’ll work with the team to help improve the support, networks, and systems available to members. You’ll also help with ensuring suppliers meet safety standards, deliver great produce, and offer reliable service.
In addition, you’ll assist with organising our member events, from planning and logistics to coordinating attendees and making sure everything runs smoothly.
You will be a confident communicator who is happy gathering information from our team, suppliers and school chefs, with an ability to translate data for the continued improvement of the membership. The role will cover everything from basic administration tasks, to visiting schools, helping to create resources and supporting our procurement processes.

Manage membership administration, including onboarding new members, staying in touch regularly, coordinating internal support for membership needs, and tracking renewals.

Support the creation of resources, guides, and training materials for members.

Support the Procurement Manager with preparing and delivering compliant procurement processes, from drafting documents to reviewing submissions.

Work alongside the Procurement Manager to build strong relationships with partner chefs, identify new suppliers, and understand produce requirements.

Manage supplier relationships, including visiting suppliers, checking accreditations, conducting research, and ensuring due diligence.

Gather, analyse, and report data to support and help grow the membership.

Provide general administrative support for the membership team, such as organising meetings, booking rooms, and taking minutes.

Proofread and format documents as required.

The Role
The Marketing and Communications Manager is a core role. You will work directly with the Head of Content and Communications (HoC) and Creative Content Designer and Animator on the delivery of a communications strategy focused on increasing visibility and impact.

About You

POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Manager of Philanthropic Fundraising will serve as the cornerstone of administrative support for ULI’s philanthropic fundraising initiatives in Europe.
The role will report to the Vice President, Business Development & Membership on a day-to-day basis and work closely with the Chair of the ULI Charitable Trust and CEO ULI Europe. The role will have a functional reporting line to the Chief (Philanthropic) Fundraising Officer.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide administrative and management support to the philanthropic fundraising initiatives of the ULI Charitable Trust (and the CT Board of Trustees / ULIF Europe Committee) and ULI Europe, including fundraising campaigns, donation tracking, gift processing, and donor stewardship in cooperation with the ULI Finance team in the US.
- Oversee and coordinate design and development of marketing collateral, presentations supporting fundraising campaigns, in collaboration with the ULI Europe Marketing and Communications team.
- Collaborate closely with the ULI Europe Business Development and Membership team, ULI’s country directors, and the governance director to support the planning and implementation of the European philanthropic fundraising strategy set by the CT Board of Trustees / ULIF Europe Committee.
- Coordinate and maintain relationships with individual and institutional donors,, in close collaboration with the corporate accounts team, CEO, ULI Europe and the Chair of the Charitable Trust / Chair of the ULIF Europe Committee;
- Work in close collaboration with Research & Advisory Services and ESG Programmes colleagues, to identify and research (third party) philanthropic funding and grant opportunities and assist in the preparation of applications for philanthropic funding from (third party) foundations and government agencies;
- Coordination of proposal writing for potential foundation funding, in close collaboration with the research, marketing communications and legal and compliance teams.
- Develop and manage internal processes for grant compliance, application tracking, reporting, and gift acknowledgement for ULI Europe.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Experience working in an operations, administration, or governance role within a UK or European charity, charitable trust, or foundation.
- Experience working in an international business environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.

- A track record of managing transactions or projects that required multi-tasking and meeting deadlines
- A quick learner who is able to adapt easily
Desirable:

1. Main Duties
Communications Strategy
- Design, develop, and implement the Diocese’s Communications Strategy which is fully aligned with the Diocese ten-year Mission plan.
- Research and identify appropriate methods and channels including secular and religious media to raise the Diocese’s profile and in turn that of the Catholic church.
- Collaborate with partners, such as the Bishops Conference of England and Wales to help shape and influence public policy aligned with Diocesan objectives.
External Communications

Your Role in Our Vision
We need an experienced, strategic campaigner who knows how to make an impact. You'll bring a track record of developing and delivering effective policy campaigns, along with the confidence to lead them from concept to execution.
You'll be skilled at working collaboratively-bringing together colleagues across teams, mobilising supporters, and ensuring the voices of people with lived experience are at the heart of what we do. You'll be passionate about turning complex issues into compelling calls to action and know how to drive change at both a national and local level.
This is an exciting time to join an ambitious campaigns team who make a big impact working across multiple policy issues that affect people at the end of life and their loved ones, from health to social security and bereavement. You'll play a key role in shaping how we campaign for a better end of life experience for everyone.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and delivery of innovative, results-driven campaign strategies that support Marie Curie's mission and policy goals.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of campaigns-from planning and development through to launch, evaluation, and learning.
- Craft inspiring, persuasive campaign content across multiple channels (including email, social media, and print) to engage supporters and prompt action.
- Ensure campaigns include meaningful opportunities for people with lived experience to contribute, share their stories, and lead change.
- Monitor and evaluate campaign performance, embedding insights into future planning.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships across Marie Curie teams and departments to maximise reach and impact.
- Champion our campaigns internally-energising staff, volunteers, and supporters to get involved.
- Represent Marie Curie at external events, stakeholder meetings, and within coalitions.
- Uphold our brand values and ensure all campaign activity reflects our tone and creative identity.
- Stay on top of relevant policy developments affecting end of life care, using this knowledge to shape campaign priorities.
What You'll Need
- A strong track record of designing and delivering effective policy or public campaigns that drive real-world change.
- Ability to develop and lead campaign strategies that align with organisational goals, using insights and data to inform decisions.
- Skilled at managing complex projects from start to finish-balancing timelines, budgets, and priorities while coordinating with multiple teams.
- Confident in crafting compelling campaign messaging across various formats and channels, including email, social media, and print.
- Experienced in working cross-functionally, bringing together colleagues from policy, communications, and supporter engagement to maximise impact.
- Comfortable representing an organisation externally and building relationships with campaign partners, policymakers, and influencers.
- Committed to involving people with lived experience meaningfully in campaigns, ensuring their voices help shape messaging and strategy.
- Familiarity with using digital tools and platforms to mobilise supporters, build engagement, and drive campaign actions.
- Able to evaluate campaign performance, draw insights, and apply learning to improve future campaigns.
- Confident in speaking about campaigns to diverse audiences-including volunteers, donors, and decision-makers-in an inspiring and accessible way.

Location: Homebased with occasional travel into London Office
Based: This role is predominantly home-based and can be based anywhere within the UK. You will be expected to travel to our sites across the UK occasionally. For those within commutable distance to London, you will have the option of working flexibly between home and in our modern open plan offices in Embassy Gardens (2 day per week in office).

Summary of role responsibilities and person specification:
Worcester College, University of Oxford, is recruiting for the key, senior role of Alumni Engagement Manager to be part of its Development and Alumni Relations team of seven. This is a vital role as we seek to deepen and expand connections with the College’s alumni community. The Alumni Engagement Manager will be responsible for the development and delivery of an alumni and supporter engagement strategy which aims to build relationships with alumni and donors to lead to greater involvement with the College through the giving of funds, time and expertise. The Alumni Engagement Manager also plays a vital role in ensuring donors to the College have a strong sense and knowledge of the positive impact of their generosity, so that their philanthropic giving to Worcester is a meaningful, enjoyable and positive experience.
This is a senior role requiring a proven track record in managing highly effective alumni relations or similar membership programmes, including strong events and communications experience. The role requires the drive and creativity to use events and communications skills to deliver an innovative engagement programme. This varied role spans relationship building and donor stewardship activities, so also offers the opportunity to develop fundraising knowledge and experience. We are a very friendly team of seven in an ambitious college, with a real sense of purpose and a great deal of exciting work taking place.
