Salford CVS (Community and Voluntary Services) is the city-wide infrastructure service for the VCSE (Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise) sector. We support almost 1,000 VCSE groups and organisations in Salford, with 7,000 paid staff and 62,000 volunteers between them. Leading an exciting new community engagement project, you will understand and break down barriers to physical activity and maximise provision to help residents become healthier and happier. ROLE DESCRIPTION  

As Finance and Operations officer, you will report to the Operations and Systems Manager and will be a key member of the Operations team. This role is vital to the support of the wider organisation, being the go-to person for financial, HR and IT enquiries. 

In this role at Get Further, you’ll have the opportunity to build on your operational experience within a dynamic and mission-driven charity. No two days are the same, you'll play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations while contributing to a range of projects that help drive our work forward. This is also a chance to shape your own development, gaining valuable insight and skills as you grow within the role. 

Finance Administration 

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using Xero, including importing and coding invoices for approval, raising sales invoices, and supporting bank reconciliation. 
• Prepare and issue contracts and invoices for colleges, freelancers, and central team members. 
• Manage credit control by coordinating weekly payment runs and liaising with debtors to ensure timely payment. 
• Prepare monthly payroll submissions, including reconciling tutor hours, holiday pay and training. 
• Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports for internal budget holders. 
• Assist with compiling financial information for the Fundraising Team as required. 

HR and Policy Administration 

• Help maintain our policy library, ensuring all charity policies remain compliant and up to date. 
• Keep the Employee Handbook current, reflecting the latest internal policies and procedures. 
• Assist the Operations & Systems Manager in planning and delivering our termly Team Days. 
• Coordinate staff benefits, including the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), staff training, pensions, Access to Work applications, and workstation assessments. 
• Working with Hiring managers for the central recruitment process to advertise roles, coordinating interviews and communications with applicants. 
• Onboard new starters, conducting all pre-employment checks, organising computers and equipment, arranging access to systems etc. 
• Managing reference requests for past tutors. 

IT and Equipment management 

• Support the Operations & Systems Manager in maintaining oversight of IT hardware, phones, and other equipment – including managing logistics and phasing out older kit. 
• Act as the first point of contact for the team on IT matters, liaising with our external IT provider and tracking outstanding tasks and support hours used. 

Office tasks  

• Liaise with the Charity we share offices with regarding office facilities and help maintain office supplies and equipment levels. 
• Manage keyholder records, ensuring an accurate log of staff with key and fob access to the office. 

General Administration 

• Monitor and respond to shared mailboxes, ensuring timely and appropriate handling of enquiries or redirecting them as needed. 
• Provide additional programme support where required – including booking conferences and ordering printed materials or resources. 
• Respond to internal queries and offer cross-team support on financial, HR, and IT matters.

The Role

We are seeking a Funding and Impact Manager to help us achieve our ambitious growth plans. This is a pivotal role where you’ll blend strategic fundraising with impact storytelling, ensuring our programmes remain high-quality, sustainable, and far-reaching.

Senior Fundraising and Research Officer

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Fundraising and Research Officer to join the team at Right to Succeed, helping us build on the great work we’re already doing and achieve even more.

The Role

Working as part of a small but ambitious team, you will support fundraising and donor research for Right to Succeed, a fast-growing national charity delivering place-based and educational change in disadvantaged communities.

This role will see you:

• Undertake in-depth prospect donor research, using tools such as Funds Online, GrantNav 360 Giving, and CRM systems.
• Produce research briefings and present findings to support fundraising strategy.
• Provide high-quality administrative support, including meeting coordination, thank you letters, and CRM updates.
• Support the delivery of fundraising events and donor visits.
• Contribute to the writing of funding applications, bids, and monitoring reports.
• Lead on administrative support for the Individual Giving funding stream.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic fundraising and marketing professional to develop and execute an ambitious commercial strategy to enable us to provide even greater support to young people in Suffolk.

The Mix Stowmarket Ltd. is an established youth charity working with young people aged 9–25 across Mid Suffolk. With a committed team, a flagship youth centre, and a trading arm, 127 Trading Ltd, operating two cafés, we’re rooted in community impact and innovation.

We exist to inspire, empower, and support young people to build resilience, thrive, and unlock their full potential. Working from our centre in Stowmarket and a second base in Needham Market, we deliver a diverse range of programmes including youth mentoring, alternative education, school-based support, and open-access youth sessions. Our work is shaped by strong values, a solution-focused’ approach, and a deep belief in the potential of every young person.

Alongside our charitable work, we operate a social enterprise trading arm, 127 Trading Ltd, which runs two cafés that provide training and employment opportunities for young people, whilst generating vital income for our work. With a committed team of staff and volunteers and a passion for partnership, The Mix is a trusted and innovative force for positive youth development in Suffolk.

We have recently appointed our new Chief Executive Officer who takes up post in October 2025. We now seek a strategic and operationally savvy Head of Fundraising and Marketing to support the senior team as they lead The Mix into its next chapter, with prime responsibility to generate a diverse and sustainable stream of income to enable The Mix to deliver its charitable activities in the years ahead.

Overview of the role

As the organisation’s Head of Fundraising and Marketing, you will be an experienced, ambitious, enthusiastic, and dynamic professional, who is passionate about fundraising and maximising income generation.

Working closely with our new CEO and committed trustees and staff, you will develop and implement fundraising and marketing strategies that align to our vision and drive the expansion of our crucial support to young people in Suffolk.

You will have a thorough understanding of planning, organising, and delivering successful fundraising campaigns, initiatives, and events with a strong attention-to-detail. You will be comfortable working at a leadership and strategic level but also unafraid to roll up your sleeves and create bids, funding proposals, and marketing materials.

Main Responsibilities

1. Strategic leadership

· Develop and lead the multi-channel fundraising and marketing strategy to meet agreed income targets and support 

         long-term sustainability for both The Mix and 127 Trading Ltd.

· Work closely with the CEO and Trustees, to align fundraising efforts with the strategic goals of the charity and bring               insight into income generation and stakeholder engagement.

· Actively contribute to the senior leadership team, shaping organisational policies and strategic direction, ensuring the           integration of fundraising, marketing and operational activities.

2. Fundraising and income generation

· Drive the development of diverse income streams, including major donor fundraising, corporate partnerships,                         individual giving, legacies, lotteries, community fundraising and events.

· Proactively seek new opportunities to secure long-term, multi-year funding through well-targeted funding applications           and corporate proposals.

· Build strong partner relationships with a focus on stewardship, retention, and growth.

· Monitor performance, analyse data, and drive continuous improvement.

· Chair the Fundraising sub-committee and contribute to the Data, Impact and Evidence Action Group

· Responsible for completion of all bids, grants and funding applications and ensuring that funders receive appropriate             ongoing feedback.
 

3. Marketing and communications

· Develop marketing materials and campaigns that effectively communicate the charity’s mission, vision and                             achievements to various audiences for both The Mix and 127 Trading Ltd.

· Lead the management of digital platforms, ensuring consistent and inspiring content across all channels, including the           website, social media, email and printed materials.

· Ensure that brand messaging is consistent, clear and aligned across The Mix and 127 Trading Ltd to enhance public             recognition and reputation.

· Grow awareness of the charity at a local and regional level, monitoring success through market research.

· Develop compelling narratives and stories of the charity’s impact to engage partners and encourage continued                     support.

4. Team leadership and development

· Lead and develop the Fundraising & Marketing team, fostering a collaborative and positive culture.

· Mentor and support team members in achieving their professional development goals, ensuring they attain business             objectives.

· Regularly monitor and review team performance to meet income generation and communication objectives.

5. Operational excellence

· Ensure compliance with data protection laws, fundraising regulations and ethical guidelines across all fundraising and           marketing activities.

· Review and improve the use of the website and develop systems to track donor engagement, monitor income and                 ensure data integrity and transparency.

· Work closely with finance and operations teams to oversee the management and monitoring of fundraising targets.

·Work closely with the Youth Work team to provide insight to funding opportunities available and marketing and                       fundraising activities occurring.

You should have experience of leading physical activity or other behaviour change projects within schools, workplaces or communities. You should also have experience of working on projects within an established project management framework and within a Welsh Language environment.  

You will have excellent organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise and manage own workload. You will be able to build and maintain strong relationships and a flexible and enthusiastic approach. With the ability to engage and support lesser heard voices in the community.

The Role

As Executive Director, you will be the senior officer responsible for the strategic leadership, policy development, office and staff management, financial control, stakeholder relationships and Company Secretary duties. You will ensure delivery of annual work plans, contractual compliance and organisational sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy, Research and Policy Development: Provide strategic direction, delivering CRER’s vision, aims and objectives; lead development and execution of strategy with staff and Board, setting policy, research and advocacy priorities.
• Governance and Operational Management: Act as Company Secretary; oversee OSCR compliance; support the Board’s duties through guidance and information; prepare annual budgets; ensure sound financial management; oversee management accounts and annual reports; maintain infrastructure and regulatory compliance; implement risk management; develop funding applications and tender responses.
• Staff Leadership and Development: Lead and line-manage a motivated team; maintain and apply the CRER Policies and Procedures Handbook consistently.
• Stakeholder Relations and Public Relations: Manage external relationships with BME organisations, third sector, government, funders, academia, and parliamentarians; represent CRER in strategic discussions, public events, media, and on social media platforms.

What the job involves

Prostate Cancer UK offers a range of services to support men affected by prostate cancer and their loved ones. These include a multi-channel helpline, printed and online health information, 1:1 peer support and an online community.

We’re looking for a Support Services Innovation Manager to join us in an exciting new role, focused on growing the services’ reach, personalisation and variety, and helping them respond to key challenges. These include rising prostate cancer rates, more complex care pathways and treatments, shifting expectations around healthcare, and rapid changes in online behaviour due to evolving consumer-facing AI technology.

We’re also in the process of developing an ambitious new 10-year strategy for the charity, and you’ll play a key role in setting the terms for how we approach service development across this horizon. You'll carry out a discovery phase to explore the internal and external factors shaping our services, followed by a summary report with recommendations for innovation. Drawing on these insights, you’ll deliver and evaluate innovation use cases, ranging from MVPs to ready-to-implement solutions.

Alongside specific deliverables, you'll play a broader role across the Support Services team, spotting opportunities for innovation across service delivery, supporting business case development, and helping build our capability to evaluate service impact. You’ll use data to shape recommendations, foster an innovation mindset, and support colleagues to experiment, test and learn. We're looking for a Welfare Manager to take charge of the welfare journey for every dog in our centre. In this pivotal role, you will drive timely, compassionate decisions through expert behavioural and veterinary rehabilitation, ensuring each dog progresses toward their forever home. 

What does this role do?

As a Welfare Manager you will: 

• Lead, coach and develop a small team to deliver high-quality veterinary care and behaviour modification for dogs in our care. 
• Act as a balanced advocate for both behavioural and veterinary needs to achieve the best outcomes for each dog. 
• Oversee staff and volunteer training in behaviour and dog handling, ensuring all colleagues work within SOPs, legal, and health & safety guidelines. 
• Develop and implement tailored behaviour modification plans for dogs with complex needs and monitor progress towards successful rehoming. 
• Support professional development of Behaviour Officers, Dog Welfare Assistants, and Supervisors through mentoring, assessments, and workshops.

As an accredited clinical dog behaviourist (CCAB, CAB) with extensive experience in canine behaviour and welfare; including behaviour modification, clinical assessment, and risk management, you will have proven expertise in safely handling and rehabilitating dogs across a range of breeds and behavioural profiles.
