We are looking for a strategic and collaborative Head of Programmes to lead the delivery of our strategy, An Equal Future.

You will lead a team of programme managers, foster a positive and inclusive culture, and represent Scope externally to share our progress and achievements.

Permanent, Full time (35 hours a week)

Location: Here East Press Centre, 14 East Bay Lane, London, E15 2GW and working from home.

The role

In this role, you will guide three key programmes that support Scope and our colleagues to make the biggest impact for disabled people. You will work closely with senior colleagues, champion agile ways of working, and support teams across Scope to understand and grow their impact.

You will:

· Lead the delivery of three major programmes, making sure they stay on track and deliver real impact.

· Champion agile and flexible ways of working, using testing and learning to drive improvement.

· Support and guide teams across Scope to understand how their work contributes to An Equal Future.

· Oversee progress against Scope’s strategy, reviewing impact and advising on where changes are needed.

· Report to the Executive Leadership Team, Board of Trustees, and external stakeholders on our progress.

· Build strong partnerships with funders and external organisations.

· Lead and develop your team so they can do their best work.

· Represent Scope at external meetings and events, promoting our strategy and achievements.

About you

What you’ll do

1. Internal communications (~2.5 days per week)

As our Internal Communications and Events Lead, you will play a key role in engaging, informing, and inspiring our team with what’s happening at Unifrog. You’ll also help us to work even better together, and to retain a happy and effective team.

Your main responsibilities:

• Coordinate our whole team commss

  • Deliver our internal comms strategy, work towards our People team goal and objectives, and use our House Style.

  • Create our monthly internal Unifrog newsletter, writing your own segments, editing other people’s contributions, and evaluating engagement.

  • Collate data from team surveys and work with the People and Leadership teams to put ideas from the team into action.

• Improve the way that we communicate and work together:

  • Share best practice and deliver training on our comms tools (e.g. Slack, Gmail, Asana).

  • Research, trial and introduce new comms tools or upgrades where appropriate, training the team on how to use them.

  • Join our AI working group, whose goal is to support the team to use AI more effectively (e.g. leading training, sharing use-cases from across Unifrog).

  • Support teams with communication challenges (e.g. streamlining comms traffic).

  • Support team members to easily find the best contact for different questions and tasks.

• Manage our existing comms tools:

  • Audit our usage and budget to make sure we’re maximising value.

  • Manage individual and team subscriptions to our comms tools.

  • Help to troubleshoot team questions and issues.

• Keep our ‘Unifrog Essentials’ and ‘Who to Contact’ documents up-to-date, and support team leads to keep our Dropbox folders organised.

• Work with our Recruitment Lead and Marketing team to shout externally about what’s going on at Unifrog, sharing photos and stories on our website and social media. 

2. Internal events (~2.5 days per week)

Now that Unifrog has 115 team members across the UK and beyond, it’s more important than ever that everyone feels connected, both to each other and to our wider mission. 

We currently have:

1. Three whole company “team days” per year (2x in person, 1x virtual)

2. Two “away days” per team per year (in person)

3. Regular socials at our London office

4. Regular remote socials

Your main responsibilities:

• Plan our whole company team days:

  • Work closely with our CEO and the Leadership team to decide on the team day agenda, budget and format.

  • Find and book venues, hotels, social activities, and meals, and make sure everything’s set up and runs smoothly on the day.

• Support senior managers to plan their away days:

  • Advise on agendas and book venues, socials, and training.

  • Facilitate cross-team collaboration (one of each team’s away days is partly combined with another team).

• Evaluate our team events and continually look to improve their quality, impact, and inclusivity.

• Plan remote socials and office socials for our London HQ.

• Support our Unifrog affinity groups - spaces where team members who share common identities (e.g. being parents), can connect, support each other and champion inclusivity.

• Keep our EDI calendar up-to-date, and mark and celebrate occasions important to people across the team, including cultural heritage months, awareness days, and commemorative events.

Working together

You’ll be part of our People team alongside our: People Assistant, People Coordinator Recruitment Lead, People Lead, Head of People Operations, and People and Operations Director (your line manager).

You’ll also regularly work with a variety of other team members (especially line managers) when organising events.

Key details

• £37,000 - £39,000 per year, depending on experience. Grade B.

We are looking for an experienced Legal Counsel (Risk) to join our dynamic Legal & Risk team. This critical role offers the opportunity to influence and enhance Tearfund's risk management culture, support our global operations with expert legal guidance, and contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation.

The role: Working closely with teams across the organisation, you will:

• Lead on risk analysis and reporting: Engage with risk owners and focal points across Tearfund to assess, maintain, and report on organisational risks. You will manage key tools like the Corporate Risk Register with regular reporting to the Executive Team and Board Committees.
• Shape organisational understanding of risk: Support the Head of Legal & Risk in embedding best practice and fostering a culture of responsible risk-taking and compliance aligned with our strategic objectives.
• Drive process and policy improvement: Maintain and enhance risk management policies, procedures, and tools, ensuring they are empowering, integrated, and effective across the organisation.

Who we are looking for: You will be a confident legal professional who:

• Is a qualified lawyer with around 3 years of post qualification experience providing legal and compliance advice, ideally in the charity and/or international development sector
• Has strong knowledge of risk management principles and experience applying these within an organisation
• Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across all levels of an organisation
• Has strong analytical skills and the ability to present complex risk information clearly
• Has a commitment to Tearfund's values, vision, and mission

Hybrid working: This role is eligible for hybrid working and you will be required to work from the Teddington Tearfund office and from your home by agreement with the line manager. 
 
Contract Type: This is a permanent, part time role working 28 hours per week. The full time salary is £58,246 per annum. The part time salary is £46,597 per annum. The working pattern will be agreed with the line manager.

Title: Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Advisor (Qualitative Evidence) 

Salary: £41,000 to £56,000 per annum

Responsibilities 

About the role 

We are seeking an experienced Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Advisor to provide sound technical advice and guidance to ensure high quality qualitative outcome measurement tools and approaches in line with our increasing portfolio in disability and social inclusion in order to continuously improve Sightsavers’ evidence base. 

As the MEL Advisor you will lead qualitative project baseline and endline data collection, coordination, reporting and learning to improve the quality of our programmes and Sightsavers impact. You will maintain and further develop Sightsavers’ qualitative outcome monitoring approach across our thematic areas and ensure high quality data collection, analysis and reporting.

Sightsavers has developed and introduced a MEL framework to measure the organisation’s strategic progress - Learning Accountability and Monitoring Progress (LAMP). The post holder will support its processes and make a significant contribution to understanding progress using qualitative evidence. 

Responsibilities include: 

Developing and strengthening practices 

• Lead on the strengthening and design of innovative and participatory monitoring and evaluation methodologies and tools to assess outcomes and impact of programmes; support the integration of successful approaches in routine MEL practice.

• Lead on the piloting, implementation and revision of Sightsavers MEL approaches in existing and new projects including strong links with LAMP; support MEL team members to implement appropriate tools. 

• Contribute to Country Office, Regional and Global capacity building plans and provide MEL-focused training and facilitation.

Technical Support and guidance 

• Strengthen the use of Theories of Change (ToC) within projects through participating in their development and ensuring clear relationships between ToC and baselines and endlines. 

• Provide technical support to logframe development during the project design process ensuring strong links with LAMP, particularly for social inclusion and inclusive education projects. 

• Contribute to project MEL planning by ensuring continuity between baseline and endline data collection tools, and annual monitoring tools. 

• Ensure the accurate design of evidence gathering elements, including clear and robust rationale, budgets and resourcing. 

• Maintain open lines of communication among internal stakeholders about project progress and escalate risk when needed. A key focus is to assist institutional funding and senior management with communications on project progress and challenges. 

Evidence generation and learning 

• Lead Country and Global teams to conduct evidence generation activities to support strategic direction including, project baseline, annual and endline data collection, reporting and learning at project and portfolio (strategy) level 

• Analyse, consolidate and disseminate indicator baseline and endline data, provide technical support to donor reporting when necessary 

• Support the integration of needs and opinions expressed by people and communities we serve 

• Collaborate with MEL team members to analyse performance data, write reports and provide recommendations 

• Ensure that learning from project baselines contributes to project design, implementation and improvements in MEL practice

• Support the design, delivery and dissemination of learning, particularly around inclusion, within and between relevant thematic areas 

The post holder is expected to travel up to eight weeks a year locally and internationally. The role offers flexible working from home and the office to be agreed upon with the line manager. 

Skills and Experience 

As the successful candidate you will possess a degree in a relevant field or subject (international development, public health, social sciences), or equivalent learning and experience. You will have a background in the comprehensive design and delivery of outcome focussed qualitative approaches/techniques including participatory MEL, tool development, data collection, analysis and reporting, and have experience of analysing rich qualitative data from multiple sources including the use of appropriate analysis methods and data analysis software tools. 

Further required knowledge, skills and experience include: 

Essential 

• Experience in monitoring, evaluation and learning gained within the international development sector in programme countries.

• Excellent technical skills in monitoring, evaluation and learning: developing and using theories of change, designing MEL plans, designing logframes, managing oversight processes, sharing evidence and communicating learning, data quality assessment.

• Experience producing analytical reports and communication materials of good quality for a wide range of audiences, particularly using qualitative data. 

• Excellent self-management and initiative with proven ability to independently manage large, complex pieces of work with multiple stakeholders in a high-pressure environment working to competing deadlines. 

• Ability to build and manage strong, effective working relationships with internal and external audiences on complex international development projects (working with multiple countries and continents) 

• Ability to balance attention to detail with understanding the big picture. 

• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office products and relevant use of artificial intelligence (AI) software 

Desirable 

• Fluency in other Sightsavers’ languages e.g. French, Portuguese, Bengali, Kiswahili. 

• Experience in MEL for social inclusion and/or education programmes and inclusive data skills. Disability data skills are an asset. 

• Skilled in efficient working practices within a geographically disbursed team. 

• Experience of planning, monitoring and evaluating flexible adaptive programmes.

CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. The Role

As Head of Finance and Contracts, you’ll oversee all aspects of financial management and contractual compliance across the charity. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for managing and developing our small finance team, while also leading on budgeting, funder reporting and forecasting. Alongside this, you’ll oversee the organisation’s contracts ensuring we’re operating in line with best practice and regulatory requirements.

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office 2 days per week. .

Duties and Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Line manage the Finance Officer and Finance Assistant, providing guidance, support, and performance oversight.
• Actively participate in Leadership Team meetings, contributing to the development and achievement of strategic objectives.
• Support the development of the team structure, driving delivery, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to inform long-term decision-making and business growth.

Financial Strategy & Reporting

• Lead the annual budgeting and reforecasting process, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
• Oversee monthly management accounts; meet regularly with Heads of Department to monitor spend and evaluate impact.
• Support with the preparation draft statutory accounts and coordinate audit queries.
• Conduct financial analysis, working with HoDs to assess ROI across key projects and income streams.

Operational Finance

• Manage VAT returns, ensuring compliance with
• Assess risk mitigation approaches to balance financial safeguarding with delivery of organisational objectives.
• Oversee monthly payroll processing in partnership with the payroll agent and resolve payroll queries.
• Ensure the overall smooth running of day to day finances, and finance policy adoption/ adherence.
• Reviewing and maintaining Cashflow and working capital documents.

Funding & Grants

• Provide financial oversight and input for grant and corporate funding applications.

Governance & Legal Oversight

• Attend Finance Committee meetings when necessary and support preparation of required reporting materials.
• Work closely with the Director of Operations and legal advisers to review contracts for grants, fundraising licenses, or procurement—particularly where risk or value is high.
• Oversee supplier, corporate partnership and grant contracts, where highly complex working with solicitors for advice
• Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure robust internal controls.
• Stay informed on changes to relevant financial, legal, and regulatory requirements affecting the charity sector.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Essential

• Proven experience in charity finance, including budgeting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
• Strong knowledge of UK charity and company law.

The role

The trusts fundraising officer will report to the trusts dunfraising manager.

We are seeking an enthusiastic trusts fundraising officer to join our team to help deliver our ambitious plans for growth. This new role involves managing a warm portfolio of trusts and foundations and finding new prospective donors, submitting compelling applications and providing exceptional supporter experience.

You will be proactive and passionate about building strong relationships with charitable funders and have previous experience of securing gifts from trusts and foundations or institutional donors.
