We’re looking for a Gift Processing Administrator, to play a key role in the smooth processing of all donations received at our London office.
What does this role do?
As Gift Processing Administrator, you’ll:
- process all incoming donations, from uploading data to the supporter database and sending thank you letters, to assisting charity shops with the administration of Gift Aid,
- work closely with Gift Processing Officers on more complex work, such as problem payments or refunds,
- accurately capture supporter consent preferences, ensuring data is entered correctly and in line with regulatory requirements,
- support the Supporter Stewardship team with emails during busy periods.
This role is being offered as a fixed term, family cover contract until December 2026. Interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled for Friday 21st November 2025, and will take place on Teams.

The Tours & Projects Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of several key areas of the Orchestra’s core performance activity, including but not limited to: international stand-alone concerts, tours and residencies; UK tours, engagements and festival performances; commercial recordings and special projects.

With oversight from the Senior Concerts Manager and Concerts Director, the post-holder will work closely with the Concerts Coordinators, Concerts Assistant and the Orchestra Operations Team in the delivery of outstanding performances in territories as varied as the UK, USA, Asia and Europe.
Key Responsibilities
• Planning and coordinating of all international tours and residencies undertaken by the Orchestra, • Planning and coordinating of UK-based performances, engagements and tours outside of the Orchestra’s core regional residencies.
• Planning and coordinating commercial recordings and special projects, shared with Concerts & Projects Manager, according to orchestra schedule.
• Developing and managing detailed itineraries, travel schedules, visas, freight and accommodation for musicians, artists, staff and equipment.
• Preparing project budgets, managing and maintaining set budgets and final reconciliation and invoicing, including international tax applications on behalf of the Orchestra.
• Liaising with the Orchestra’s Head of Production and Stage Managers regarding practical arrangements for all concerts and projects, including, but not limited to, stage plans, stage extensions, ATA carnet applications; truck requirements, second instruments etc.
• Liaising closely with the Orchestra Librarians on orchestrations and editions for repertoire being performed or recorded.
• Supervising the Concerts Coordinators and Assistant in the practical delivery of contracts, PPE letters, technical riders, dressing room and security lists, rehearsal venue bookings, flight and hotel lists etc. • Keeping abreast of all relevant agreements and updates from the Association of British Orchestras and Musicians’ Union concerning touring best practice and regulation.
• Liaising with the Orchestra Committee and Artistic Committee regarding player matters as directed by Senior Concerts Manager/Concerts Director.
• Travel with the Orchestra on all international tours and attending concerts & projects within the UK as necessary.
• Upholding and demonstrating the Orchestra's values. Representing the Philharmonia with utmost professionalism at all times.
• Undertaking such other duties as may reasonably be required by the Company.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential:
• Minimum three years’ managerial experience in classical music administration preferably with a focus on tour management

Accessing veterinary care while living on the streets, sofa surfing or living in a hostel or temporary accommodation provider can be incredibly difficult. That’s where StreetVet comes in. We are an award-winning national charity and a registered veterinary practice with the RCVS, providing free, accessible vet care to pets belonging to those experiencing homelessness across the UK. Our dedicated team of volunteer veterinary professionals deliver essential services where support is needed. We take our experience out of the consulting room and onto the pavements to provide the same first opinion vet care you would expect to receive in a practice.
StreetVet also works to remove barriers to accommodation and homelessness service through our Accredited Hostel and Day Centre Scheme, which helps hostels, day centres, and hubs implement positive pet policies and become pet-inclusive. This includes free veterinary care for registered pets, staff training, essential pet supplies, and access to virtual vet consultations via our telemedicine platform. The scheme empowers hostels to welcome pet owners without forcing them to choose between a roof over their head and their beloved companion.

Role Description
The Hostel & Day Centre Coordinator (North) will work closely with the Hostel and Day Centre Manager and the Coordinator (South) to ensure the effective administration and smooth day-to-day operations of the StreetVet Accredited Hostel & Day Centre Schemes. This role plays a key part in welcoming and onboarding new hostels and day centres into the network and supporting the ongoing engagement and success of existing partners. By fostering strong relationships with hostels, day centres, suppliers, and sponsors, the post holder will help build a connected and responsive community that ultimately supports more pets accessing hostels and day centres. To lead the financial management and oversight of the ADB project, ensuring timely, accurate and compliant financial accounting, reporting, and oversight. The role will support the delivery of all financial aspects of the ADB project, including donor reporting, reconciliations, cost recovery, budgeting, and compliance, in close collaboration with programme colleagues and the wider AKF(UK) finance team. To contribute to the financial management of AKF(UK)’s wider programme portfolio and supporting the Programme Finance Manager in running efficient and effective financial processes across all AKF(UK)’s programmes and grants.
Financial oversight, planning, and reporting
• Review all financial transactions related to the ADB project on a monthly basis and ensure that they are correct including cost recovery, co-financing, bank balances, and coding.
• Ensure the ADB project is up to date in the Grant Management Tracker, Co-financing Tracker and Cost Recovery forecast.
• Prepare financial information for internal reporting, including contributions to quarterly CEO reports, monthly dashboards, and co-finance updates.
• Prepare all ADB project donor financial reports and ensure consistency with internal data.
• Prepare and submit other donor financial reports as required.
• Monitor project and portfolio spending, flagging significant under & overspends in a timely manner to the Programme Finance Manager and Programmes & Partnerships team.
Financial controls, compliance, and audit
• Lead financial planning and monitoring for the ADB project, ensuring alignment with ADB compliance requirements and AKF(UK) internal controls.
• Support the design and implementation of quality controls, manuals, checklists, and tools to ensure compliance with donor requirements (ADB and others).
• Oversee compliance with donor and AKF(UK) rules on procurement, accounting, and project expenditure, supported by reporting, engagement with the field, and spot checks.
• Maintain internal tools (including AIMS) to track active ADB grants as well as other grants, ensuring data on secured funding, cost recovery, and cash balances remains up to date.
• Prepare for and support donor and statutory audits, with particular responsibility for the ADB project while also contributing to audits of other grants.
• Maintain an up-to-date audit and disallowance tracker for the ADB project, while supporting the Programme Finance Manager in tracking audit issues across all grants.
• Troubleshoot donor compliance or procurement queries, with emphasis on ADB but extending to other donor portfolios where needed.
• Act as a resource person for ADB donor compliance within AKF(UK), while sharing knowledge and lessons learned more widely across the grants portfolio.
• Support wider Programme Finance team capacity-building efforts, drawing on insights from ADB donor requirements and practices.
Grant financial management
In close consultation with the programmes & partnerships team:
• Maintain accurate financial records and grant codes for the ADB project, while supporting the set-up and management of other grants as needed.
• Ensure timely submission of cash requests and sub-grant agreements, in compliance with both ADB and AKF(UK) standards, and support the same across the wider portfolio.
• Review budgets for ADB and other donor concepts/proposals, ensuring inclusion of AKF(UK) costs, compliance with donor requirements, and consistency with narratives.
• Support the in-country project management unit (PMU) to ensure that the project is robustly managed and proactively support the resolution of challenges as they arise.
• Provide training and reference materials for implementing partners and field staff on ADB-specific donor regulations, procurement, and reporting, while contributing to broader finance training across the organisation.
• Provide technical support and guidance to implementing partners and country units, with particular focus on ADB compliance but also assisting with other donor requirements as needed.
• Conduct monitoring visits and spot checks on the ADB project and participate in risk monitoring across the wider portfolio.
• Collaborate with the assigned Senior Partnerships Manager to align financial management with programme delivery.
Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Programme Finance Manager or the Head of Finance and Operations. The role will involve travel to countries in which we operate grants, particularly Afghanistan (security situation dependent). Normally this could be 1-2 trips per year.
Qualifications
• CCAB qualified accountant (desirable).
Experience
• 3 years relevant experience in financial accounting and financial reporting
• Experience of designing and managing effective administrative systems and procedures
• Experience of managing finances for large-scale, complex donor-funded projects. Experience of working with multilateral development banks (ADB, World Bank, AfDB, etc.) is highly desirable.
• Experience of budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management
• Experience working in international organisations or donor agencies, including field-level implementation, is highly desirable.

The role in brief
As our Fundraising Director you will lead the income generation strategy for RLS and oversee operational elements when needed—making this more than a conventional fundraising role. You will work across the organisation, supporting strategy, sustainable growth, and systems development, while ensuring we meet urgent funding needs as well as build long-term resilience. The role suits someone who thrives in a dynamic, justice-driven environment, is comfortable with ambiguity and change, and has the gravitas and hands-on mindset required in a senior role.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and lead the fundraising strategy: securing income from trusts, foundations, major donors, corporates, and other sources.
- Build, deepen and manage relationships with funders, partners and stakeholders to secure existing and new funding.
- Monitor fundraising performance, budgets, forecasts and contribute to organisational financial sustainability.
- Work operationally as required across the organisation: supporting RLS’s systems, processes and leadership team to ensure effective delivery and growth.
- Be a key member of the senior management team, working closely with the Executive Director, Legal Director and Board of Trustees to shape RLS’s strategic direction.
- Ensure high standards of reporting, monitoring and impact-communication to funders and stakeholders.
- Help embed organisational systems and infrastructure to support scale-up and sustainability.
Person specification
We’re seeking someone who:
- Has great experience in senior fundraising roles (ideally including trust/foundation, donor relationships and multi-stream income generation).
- Is comfortable operating at a strategic level and also stepping into operational matters when needed.
- Has excellent communication and influencing skills, able to engage with senior stakeholders, funders and leadership teams.
- Thrives in a fast-moving, values-driven environment, comfortable with change, ambiguity and organisational growth.
- Shares a strong commitment to migrant justice, equity and the mission of RLS.
- Is organised, resilient, and able to manage competing priorities across fundraising and operations.
Working arrangements
This role is based in London with hybrid working: you will be required to be in the office at least two days a week, with the remainder of time flexible. The post will require occasional flexibility for meetings, events or travel as part of senior leadership commitments.

What we're looking for
We are looking for a talented Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records and handle financial operations in the charity.
Core duties include processing all routing transactions encompassing supplier invoices, sales invoices, bank transactions, petty cash, credit cards and treasury management. You will also make payments, prepare our in-house payroll and submit pension returns.
You will work closely with our Finance Director to support the month end close while complying with and upholding the Charity’s policies and procedures.
Our ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, ideally have worked for a charity and be familiar with Xero. You will also have at least one of the following:
- A relevant qualification such as an accountancy or business degree
- Part or fully qualified with an accountancy body, such as the AAT

Responsibilities
Process all financial transactions in our finance IMS (Xero) accurately and promptly encompassing:
- Accounts payable
- Employee and volunteer expense claims
- Sales invoices, grants, donations and other income
- Bank transactions
- Petty cash
- Credit cards
- Download bank records into the IMS and reconcile all bank accounts
- Monitor savings and move funds between accounts ensuring that we comply with our investment policy
- Operate credit control on the sales ledger and issue payment receipts to customers and donors
- Make payments to creditors and settle expense claims
- Prepare payroll to draft status, pay staff and HMRC, report pension contributions
- Electronically store all required records in line with statutory requirements
- Update contacts and restricted fund profiles in the finance IMS
- Make Gift Aid claims
- Operate within the Charity’s financial procedures and prevailing accounting standards
Support the Finance Director with any of the following:
- Operating restricted funds

Governance Manager (12-months maternity cover)
About the role
This is an exciting time to join Emmaus UK and provide maternity cover for our Governance Manager.
This standalone role is responsible for managing the operations of the board and committees of Emmaus UK, as well as for providing support to local boards at Emmaus communities across Great Britain as they look to develop their governance arrangements.
The postholder will manage the board of trustees, leading on recruitment, induction and compliance, ensuring meetings run smoothly and are minuted effectively. They will also work as company secretary, managing the smooth-running of the AGM, and ensuring returns are made to Companies House and the Charity Commission within appropriate timeframes.
The Governance Manager is responsible for monitoring the development of policies, tracking completion and working with managers to continuously improve policies in line with changing regulation.
The role will also involve extensive work with members of the Emmaus movement, through the performance of reviews of local governance of members, reporting back to local boards on areas to celebrate and actions to develop. They will also be responsible for developing Emmaus UK’s best practice toolkit for trustees to refer to in developing their local governance arrangements, and for liaising with the wider Emmaus movement through facilitation of the membership processes with Emmaus Europe and Emmaus International.

Emmaus UK Governance
- Manage the board of trustees, leading on recruitment, delivering a comprehensive and appropriate induction, dealing with enquiries, maintaining declarations of interest, skills audit and eligibility forms and ensuring all details are up to date and accurate.
- Act as company secretary for Emmaus UK, leading on the preparation for and delivery of the Annual General Meeting, filing required returns, developing documents associated with membership, and ensuring the charity is compliant with relevant charity and company law.
Board and Committee Meetings
- Coordinate board meetings including organising venues, liaison with the relevant secretary and chairs in creating agendas, preparing and distributing papers and taking and circulating accurate minutes
- Oversee the smooth-running of committee meetings in conjunction with the admin team, including creation of the annual calendar.
- Ensure all follow up actions are coordinated, and ongoing rolling actions logs are maintained and appropriately shared with the Emmaus UK staff team.
Emmaus UK Governance Development
- Lead on governance projects within Emmaus UK, including but not limited to risk, policy management and internal governance reviews, reporting to the Board and subcommittees as appropriate.
- Provide governance advice and support to staff members on an ad hoc basis.
- Monitor all internal policies and procedures ensuring they are fit for purpose and kept under review by the relevant staff members.
Federation Governance
- Lead on reviews of members’ local governance arrangements, scheduling, undertaking analysis, reviewing documentation, collating responses from members and observations from Emmaus UK Senior Leadership Team members, and reporting to local boards on findings and Emmaus UK’s Audit & Risk Committee on emerging themes.
- Provide guidance for federation members on governance development through ad hoc advice, the production of governance toolkits and supporting resources.
- Facilitate the membership processes and requirements for Emmaus Europe and Emmaus International, supporting transitioning members and contributing to movement-wide events such as the World and Regional Assemblies, international visits and exchange programmes.

IPS Grow is a national programme designed to support the expansion of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services in mental health, primary care, and drug and alcohol teams across England. The Board of Scope is seeking a highly organised and proactive part-time Trustee Liaison Coordinator to provide dedicated support to Trustees, Independent Committee Members and senior leaders.

The role
This is a pivotal new role designed to increase the Board’s operational effectiveness, unlock external relationships, and strengthen communication between Trustees and the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
The post holder will work closely with the Chair, Trustees, Independent members where appropriate and Scope’s executive team to ensure high-impact follow-through between meetings, improving visibility of board contributions, and supporting strategic external engagement with ambassadors and corporate partners.

· Act as main point of contact between the Executive Leadership Team and Board, promoting open communication through updates and invitations, ensuring prompt responses to Trustee input. Help identify opportunities for Trustees to get involved in internal activities.
· Work with the governance team to track actions and ideas from Board and committee meetings, keep Trustees updated on progress, and arrange interim calls or working groups as needed.
· Share Trustee contact details (opt in), nurture informal connections, and provide support as required, while collaborating closely with the Governance team to ensure there’s no duplication of effort.
