Job description

Working across Bury and Bolton and designated outreach as required

Citizens Advice Bury & Bolton is a busy, dynamic and client focused service, with a track record of delivering high quality legal advice. Clients are engaged via a range of advice channels and access points.

The post holder will be required to work across the Bury and Bolton districts, ensuring a dynamic and client focused housing advice service is provided. The successful candidate will hold a caseload of clients, deliver one off pieces of advice/ information through our busy drop-in sessions and engage with clients via telephone. 

Our housing team is busy, often working to tight deadlines for the best interests of our clients. The successful candidate will join our small housing team, primarily funded by Legal Aid. 

Are you:

  • An experienced housing adviser?
  • Client focused?
  • Flexible to ensure client needs are met?
  • Able to manage a varied workload, often led by deadlines and emergencies?
  • Open to learning and receiving balanced feedback?

If so, we are keen to hear from you!

We will also accept applications from non-experienced candidates, who can demonstrate transferable skills as a trainee.

Salary will be: Experienced starting at £19,819 (dependent upon experience)
Trainee: £17,173 – £19,446.

Interviews are scheduled for 15th June 2020 and will be conducted via video link.
