Location: The role is home based with LifeSkills delivery in person in the South West region of Yorkshire (ie, with delivery in areas such as, but not exclusive to, Sheffield, Doncaster and Leeds).

The LifeSkills programme offers groups of families the chance to come together to a trusted venue such as a children’s centre or community setting. As well as offering opportunities for families to spend quality time together and have access to healthy food, these sessions offer LifeSkills workshops for parents and carers to build their confidence, social networks, financial and employability skills. Examples include but are not limited to overcoming setbacks, managing debt, boosting confidence to return to work, CV writing, interview skills. The aims of the LifeSkills programme are to support participants to increase their confidence and 21st century skills, move closer to training/volunteering/employment, improve their social networks, and grow their confidence to provide low cost and nutritious meals.
Main Responsibilities:
The role involves delivering LifeSkills sessions to groups of families in South West Yorkshire. The postholder will also be the main point of contact for delivery partners hosting programmes (e.g. small charities, schools) and staff and volunteers delivering sessions, and be expected to respond promptly to a wide range of queries and requests for support. Examples might include, for instance, devising LifeSkills programmes for different cohorts, presenting to potential partners, devising risk assessments, recording data, and visiting and providing guidance and support for staff and volunteers delivering sessions in venues across the area.
Main Requirements (for details check the job description and person specification):
· To be the main point of contact for delivery partners (as well as for fundraising / marketing staff), for a portfolio of LifeSkills programmes, and respond promptly to queries and concerns.
· To support delivery of LifeSkills sessions (e.g. take bookings, develop PowerPoint slides) as well as planning and delivering own LifeSkills programmes.
· Appointments are subject to Family Action receiving a satisfactory disclosure clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service – Enhanced level

Job Title: Floating Support Coordinator
Location: Luton (13min from walk from Luton Train station) No Step Free Access
Salary: £24,500
Shift Pattern: FTC/Full Time 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, shift patterns including 08:00 - 16:00, 09:00 - 17:00 and 10:00 - 18:00. You may be required to be flexible around these hours depending on service requirements.
About the role
We're looking for a Floating Support Coordinator to join our team based in Luton. You will deliver community based support to the residents of Luton as part of our Luton Synergy Service - an integrated support service with emphasis on prevention, early intervention and integration for people who are at risk of losing their independence. The service provides tailored support to clients aged 18+ over a maximum of two years, to improve their opportunity to live successfully in the community. The ethos of the service is to enable, empower and encourage individuals to develop the skills and tools to manage their accommodation, tenancies and health & wellbeing.
Our work with clients takes place at locations to meet individual needs; within our Victoria House resource centre in Luton, at their homes, in other agencies’ premises or in public meeting places. We pride ourselves on providing accessible and flexible services to residents of Luton through partnership working and community engagement. You will work alongside various community and statutory services and you will inspire and motivate our participants to achieve their personal goals, build independence, and live independently within the community. You will provide tailored personalised support to help our participants to live more fulfilling lives, and to engage them with opportunities available within the community, to help them to develop their social skills and independent living skills.
Key responsibilities:
- Support to source and secure accommodation – both privately and through housing associations or the council
- Support to sustain tenancies – including landlord liaison if there is risk of eviction, addressing poor quality accommodation, anti-social behaviour or neighbour disputes
- Support to improve health and wellbeing
- Advice and guidance on benefits, budgeting, utilities and debt
- Access to specialised support services for domestic violence, mental health, learning disabilities and physical health
- Support for carers and those in an unofficial carer role
We support homeless people or those at risk of homelessness, homeless families with housing related support needs, individuals with drug and alcohol use, individuals with mental health needs, older people with a need for low level support, those that are in fear of violence, those at risk of offending or have an offending history, victims of domestic abuse, individuals with mild learning difficulties and individuals with mild physical disabilities/sensory impairment.

About the role
We’re looking for an ambitious and strategic leader to take our Trusts and Statutory fundraising to the next level. As Trusts and Statutory Lead at Parkinson’s UK, you’ll drive the development and delivery of strategies that grow sustainable income and secure major grants for the charity’s most important priorities.
You’ll lead a talented team of nine (including four Managers), creating a culture of collaboration, creativity, and high performance. By inspiring your team and working closely with colleagues in the wider High Value function and across the charity, you’ll open new doors to funders, deepen existing relationships, and champion innovative approaches to securing transformational support.
This is a pivotal role in achieving our ambition to deliver a step change in income. You’ll be a visible and confident ambassador for Parkinson’s UK, engaging senior staff, trustees, and volunteers in building high-value partnerships that make a lasting difference for people affected by Parkinson’s.
What you’ll do

Develop and deliver ambitious, evidence-based strategies to maximise income from trusts, foundations, and various statutory grantmakers.

Oversee the cultivation of key funders and senior volunteers, unlocking networks and securing long-term, high-value support.

Lead senior staff and volunteers in building relationships with trusts and statutory funders, identifying opportunities for growth and adopting fresh, innovative approaches to fundraising.

Work across the charity to identify funding opportunities and ensure our programmes and projects are well-positioned for support.

Create compelling, outcomes-driven funding proposals that clearly demonstrate impact and inspire transformational giving.
What you’ll bring

Proven experience of trust and/or statutory fundraising at a strategic level

Proven ability to identify and present compelling multi-year fundable proposals including complex project budgets and fundraising targets

As a systems change charity that exists for the most marginalised women and girls, we are looking for a passionate, politically savvy, values-aligned person with outstanding project management skills to shape and help deliver our influencing goals and demonstrate our impact.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Assistant will assist all aspects of the finance function. This role will include purchase ledger, processing expenses, processing credit card transactions, managing purchase orders, cash book entries and general administration duties. In addition to this, you will support the Finance Team, maintaining an efficient and accurate finance function within The Children’s Trust.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Expenses processing and payments

About the role
Reporting in to the Director of Organisational Effectiveness, the Head of Health, Safety, Security & Safeguarding is a key role for Christian Aid and will inspire, design and drive Christian Aid's Global Safe strategy, in respect of safety, security, and safeguarding, ensuring that staff in the UK, overseas offices, and partner organisations operate in a safe, secure, and well-supported environment.

About you
The essential key skills and experience that we are looking for are:

-Advanced knowledge of global safeguarding frameworks, including protection of vulnerable groups, PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse), and child safeguarding and how they apply in humanitarian contexts.

The CEO needs to be a strategic leader who can inspire and manage teams, drive fundraising and financial sustainability, and represent the organisation to stakeholders.
