This exciting role combines supporting the management of Methodist historic places of worship and other spaces across Britain with interpretation and audience development. About You
We are seeking an experienced Christian heritage professional, who is passionate about the development of Methodist Heritage and its use as a tool to deliver contemporary Christian mission. You will work with our four nationally accredited museums, but also with our many other heritage sites and historic chapels. Working with the expert volunteers in the Methodist Heritage Committee and teams at our heritage sites, as well as Connexional (national) staff team colleagues in archives, property and communications, for example, you will be someone who can ensure coordinated best practice for the Church in heritage management in relation to historic properties, advise on collection care and develop engaging interpretation and outreach.
This role has an occupational requirement to be a practicing Christian in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.

The role
The Project Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of our Council funded Adult Bereavement Service in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.This service aims to provide accessible, empathetic and effective support for adults affected by bereavement, particularly sudden or drug/alcohol-related deaths. The Project Officer will work collaboratively as part of the local and regional volunteer and staff team.
Remote in the UK (homebased) with travel within Cornwall. In practice, this means that there will be regular travel to community venues across Cornwall for service delivery and outreach events. Interim Head of Communications and Marketing
Contract: Interim seven month contract, working on a full time basis
Salary: £52,840 per annum
Location: Hybrid role working between home and Florence Nightingale Foundation's Head Office in London Bridge at least two days per week

As interim Head of Communications and Marketing you will be hands-on and delivery focused and will play a key role in strengthening the Foundation's profile, reach and influence during a critical period for the organisation.
You'll line manage a Communications and Marketing Officer and work as part of a small team to ensure that communications and marketing activity supports the organisation's programmes, membership, fundraising, policy and stakeholder engagement objectives.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?
As a Recovery Worker, the person would be managing a caseload of clients who need early intervention or preventative support with their mental health. They would deliver group activities and one-to-one sessions, co-produce recovery plans, and empower service users to engage with professionals across the community such as mental health teams, housing providers, and social services. The role also involves monitoring wellbeing and safety, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring referrals and reviews are timely. Day-to-day, the Recovery Worker contributes to a supportive team environment, working flexibly to meet service needs and contractual obligations while promoting recovery-focused approaches.
You will be working between the hours of 3.30pm - 11.30pm - including weekends and bank holidays

Good IT, literacy, and numeracy skills are essential, alongside the ability to manage priorities under pressure.
