• Supporting inactive people to become more active;

• Creating equality in participation; and

• Keeping people active.

About the funding support role:

The Funding Support role will support the Funding Lead to bring additional funding for physical activity and sport into Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire through:

  • Advising and supporting partners to identify new funding opportunities and building their capacity and capability to apply for funding.
  • Developing funding applications for physical activity and sport, based on insight and an understanding of priorities and identified local need for Active Partners Trust or our partners.

The post is permanent, and the hours are flexible, up to 37 per week although part time working may be considered.  The salary is £20,400 – £25,500 (FTE).  Active Partners Trust has offices in Clay Cross, near Chesterfield in Derbyshire and at the Clifton Campus at Nottingham Trent University.
