About the project
Set up by Southwark Council, the Homes for Ukraine project supports families and individuals from Ukraine who have been granted visas to live and work in the UK. After an initial period living with host families or in temporary accommodation, the project helps households take the next step towards independence by supporting them to move into private rented accommodation, assisting them in finding employment, and linking them with wider community support networks, while working holistically to ensure their individual needs are met. This approach aims to help Ukrainian households settle and thrive in the UK.
This project will be delivered alongside our Refugee PRS Renters Support Programme in Southwark. We will provide crucial crisis support to vulnerable renters and are looking for a passionate housing support worker to be part of the next phase of the project. About the role
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and energetic support worker to take up a full-time role within our organisation as a Housing Support Practitioner in our small and dedicated team. The role will be based mostly in Southwark, and you will be working in partnership with the Council’s housing officers and resettlement workers, refugee support organisations, community services.
The role involves:
- Coordinate tailored support for each client to find and sustain tenancies and mediating with landlords where necessary.

What you do
Administration
You will support the whole organisation with a range of administrative tasks

Cover Support
You may be asked to provide cover on the front of desks of one of our sites:

their first point of contact for any queries.
Dealing with telephone, email and postal enquiries across the organisation
During cover period, you may be required to open and close the patient
spaces, as part of a wider team rota.

About you

As a Programme Manager, based primarily within the Education team you will also be responsible for leading on the delivery of a range of funded partner projects. Overall purpose of role
The Administrative Support Officer will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and effective day-to-day running of WeProtect Global Alliance. Reporting to the Deputy Head of Operations, this new role provides wide-ranging support across administration, finance, HR, and team coordination, ensuring that internal processes run efficiently in a dynamic, remote working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative and Operational Support

Provide general administrative support to the Secretariat, including correspondence, maintaining organisational records and policies, and managing virtual offices.

Base North Middlesex University Hospital, Sterling Way, London N18 1QX, UK.

The role
The volunteer officer will report to the volunteer manager.
The purpose of this role is to deliver the coordination of the operations of the charity’s volunteers ensuring that they have the best experience possible.

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. In 2024 we embarked on our new 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.
Contract: Must be available for 2 days during w/c 15th Dec for induction and site visit before the hotel opens on 23 Dec.
Pay: £20 per hour (£30 per hour on Bank Holidays)
Shifts: 07:45 – 20:15 (day) and 19:45 – 08:15 (night) on site at the hotel and you will be entitled to 2 x 30 minute unpaid breaks during your shifts.

The role
This is a unique opportunity to join the Crisis at Christmas team as a Women’s Pathway coordinator at a hotel and way of working we are introducing for the first time in East London. The Women-led Pathway is specifically designed for women experiencing homelessness and is a women-led initiative grounded in a psychologically informed approach. Your aim will be to ensure guests have a positive experience, that we achieve the impact we want and that there is consistency throughout the duration of the project. Crisis at Christmas is innovative and achieves great things, we want you to be part of that.
The purpose of the role is to be the key on-site point of contact for volunteers, case managers, hotel staff and members of our security team. You will play a key role in ensuring Crisis at Christmas policies and procedures around volunteering, incident management, safeguarding and guest wellbeing and behaviour are being followed. You will ensure volunteers are supported with any issues, difficult conversations and incidents that may arise with our hotel guests.
You will be responsible for escalating any serious concerns or issues to the Guest services manager, Head of Christmas and on-call managers during the Christmas period who will all be able to provide advice and guidance for any issues you may encounter on site.
To be considered for the role you must be able to be on site at the hotel in London during the Christmas period. This will include working on Bank Holidays and weekends.

Experience required
- Previous experience managing or working intensively in services for women, ideally in a hostel or accommodation environment in the homelessness or related sector.

Shifts
You will also accrue annual leave during this work, which will be calculated according to statutory guidelines and will be paid in your final payslip. Holiday entitlement will be calculated as 12.07% of actual hours worked and equates to approximately £3.80 per hour for bank holidays worked and £2.40 per hour for non-bank holiday work.

Key Responsibilities

Platform’s North Sea Workers’ Transition project is building towards a managed phase-out of oil and gas extraction in the UK North Sea. We’re organising for an energy industry that protects the rights and livelihoods of the current oil and gas workforce and directs wealth back to communities, especially those impacted by industrial change.
We have been working with offshore oil and gas workers and their unions for 5+ years. In 2023, we published a groundbreaking set of 10 demands for a just energy transition away from fossil fuels co-created with offshore workers: Our Power: offshore workers’ demands for a just energy transition. Since publishing the report we have launched public advocacy and media campaigns based on these demands - working alongside industrial trade unions, national and grassroots climate groups, and oil and gas workers. We coordinate a first-of-its-kind coalition of industrial unions and climate groups working together on national worker transition demands.
As living conditions continue to decline and the climate crisis deepens, we are looking for a motivated and creative campaigner, who is able to lead the next stage of the project, and who has a strong understanding of anti-oppression and energy justice.
About the role
The Worker Transition Campaigns Manager will work closely with our Worker Organiser and Public and Community Ownership Campaigner, supported by our Organising and Advocacy Lead, Research Lead and Communications Lead.
You will be responsible for strategising, project managing and delivering the project. Activities will look like:
- Coordinating an existing coalition of climate groups and trade unions, including holding relationships with a wide range of key stakeholders across movements;
- Developing and delivering political advocacy and public campaigns strategies to win Our Power demands - including public ownership of energy - at a UK and Scottish Government level;
- Supporting the work of Platform’s Worker Organiser(s) to build links with energy workers and involve them in media, political meetings and/or campaigning activities.
This post would sit within Platform’s internal collective management structure and would therefore be expected to support the collective management of the organisation in addition to finance and fundraising-related responsibilities. This includes line managing 1-2 staff members after the 6 month probation period and attending collective management meetings.
Role Details
Hours: 4 days (32 hours) based on a 40 hour work week (5 x 8 hour days including a 1hr lunch break).

Summary of the role:
The International Programmes Department (IPD) is a busy, multi-functional team at the heart of the work of Muslim Aid in the UK and internationally.
The Global Programmes Assistant reports directly to the Global Programmes Manager and will primarily be responsible for providing support functions to the International Programmes team. - Maintain the contract register, arrange renewals, and support procurement activities related to technology services and systems.
Systems oversight and documentation
- Maintain an up-to-date map of organisational systems, integrations, licences, and the asset register.
