About the role:
We are looking to appoint a Family Support Manager on a full-time basis (35 hours, 5 days per week), to deliver a high-quality family support service as part of our Greater Manchester Care Team to families in the local area, at a time where they need it most.

As the Community and Events Fundraising Officer, you will play a key part in ending youth homelessness in Scotland by inspiring people to support Rock Trust.
You will deliver exceptional supporter care and create meaningful experiences for everyone fundraising for us. About the Role
Daylight Women’s Day Centre is an exciting new service providing a place of safety and support for women who are long term rough sleepers in London. We want to reach women who have experienced abuse, mental illness, addiction, poor physical health, unclear immigration status and homelessness. Our support will improve their health and wellbeing and enable them to move away from the streets.
Daylight has been designed based on findings from the CHAIN rough sleeping data for London and the Women’s Rough Sleeping Census. This evidence highlights the importance of single gender services for women who hide from mainstream provision dominated by men. Daylight will reflect the Connection Theory of Change, building relationships of trust with people who have no confidence in most health and social care services. Therefore, Trauma Informed Care lies at the heart of everything we do.
Working with the Daylight Service Manager, you will manage a team of staff and volunteers to set up, pilot and deliver this vital new service in a central London location. The service will include a combination of practical facilities such as showers and a laundry, health and wellbeing resources to minimise the harm associated with rough sleeping and support to move into accommodation. We may develop additional aspects to the service as resources become available.
You will have experience in delivering psychologically, gender and culturally informed services to people who are experiencing street homelessness. You will use this experience to build relationships of trust with clients. This will include a commitment to embedding co-production so that the service continues to improve and evolve. You will facilitate in reach services predominantly with a health and harm minimisation focus and develop positive partnerships with external agencies. Job summary:
As our Philanthropy Manager, you'll lead our trusts and foundations fundraising while building meaningful relationships with major donors who share our vision. We are looking for a Company Partnership Fundraiser to support the delivery of our ambitious fundraising strategy by growing income from companies and organisations across the UK, developing strong partnerships and delivering engaging fundraising opportunities that inspire support for Myeloma UK.
You will have experience of working in a charity or customer focused environment and be able to demonstrate success in building effective relationships with excellent relationship management skills. The post holder will have excellent communication, organisational and IT skills with the ability to be flexible with your workload and prioritise effectively. Experience in fundraising, partnerships, or business development (ideally with corporate audiences) and using Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM system would be an advantage but not essential.
About the role
The Company Partnership Fundraiser willgrow income from companies and organisations across the UK The role will focus primarily on employee-led fundraising and local business support, developing relationships that arise from personal connections to myeloma and growing these into long-term sources of income and engagement. They will build on local company opportunities often identified by the Community Fundraisers and promote Myeloma UK’s exciting range of events to encourage participation and support, as well as proactively identify new opportunities for company support.
You will work with Fundraising colleagues, collaboratively identifying wider fundraising opportunities such as community events, major donor, and legacy leads which can then be developed further by the relevant fundraising specialist in the team. The role will require travel throughout the UK to maximise engagement opportunities with supporters and income generation. As well as quarterly team meetings and other opportunities to network with Myeloma UK colleagues.
The post holder will provide the highest quality of stewardship and supporter journey to maximise engagement, retention and build a sustainable pipeline of support as well as representing Myeloma UK at meetings, events, and networking opportunities to build awareness and generate support,

It’s been a very successful few years for PCR's Events & Community team with good results across the board, increasing income by over £1 million every year since 2023. And we recently won Fundraising Charity of the Year at the National Fundraising Awards 2026!
Now’s an exciting time to join us as we work on a new multi-year strategy and expand the team yet again, bringing in new resource to give the different activity areas space to grow and ensure we can do our best work – contributing to PCR’s lifesaving mission, developing our careers and enjoying work within an ambitious and supportive environment.
This role is new, created to focus on community fundraising which is a growing area with huge potential for PCR. We currently receive significant unsolicited income from our brilliant supporters, but there is a key opportunity to take a more proactive approach to recruiting new community fundraisers, improving their supporter experience and testing new offerings & products. You will work with the team to create and deliver a plan for this new proactive approach and will lead on day-to-day relationship management with fundraisers.
You will also lead the project management and delivery of some community-focused fundraising events. For example,our annual Snowdonia for Science event or testing new PCR-owned products which work for a community fundraising audience. We currently expect the split of time to be roughly 75% on community fundraising and 25% on events, but the two areas will be closely connected, and this split may change over time. We are excited to work with you to develop the direction of this role as the team and portfolio grows.
You will report to the Head of Events & Community and work closely with the whole team, as well as colleagues across PCR. Most of the Events team try to work together once a week when possible at our London office (Chancery Lane) but we have flexible working arrangements, so you can choose to be office based or hybrid. You would be needed to travel to regular supporter events across the UK (many of which are currently in the London/ SE England area) and to some team days in London on an ad-hoc basis.
