About the role
The Legacy Fundraiser will take ownership of Cynthia Spencer Hospice Charity's legacy fundraising programme, developing activity that increases awareness of gifts in Wills, grows our pipeline of legacy supporters and provides excellent stewardship throughout their journey with us.

Join us at Single Homeless Project (SHP) as part of our Lewisham Vulnerable Adults Accommodation Service (LVAAS), delivering accommodation-based support across our properties in Brockley and New Cross. As part of this exciting role, you will lead Battersea's trusts fundraising strategy, managing a team of three and driving income growth from a portfolio of trust and foundation supporters. You will personally manage a selection of high-value relationships, including trusts capable of making six and seven-figure gifts, while overseeing pipeline development, budgeting, forecasting and KPI reporting. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, you will ensure a collaborative and strategic approach to trust fundraising, stewardship and income generation.

About the Role
This role leads all aspects of Foodrise’s communications, ensuring our campaigns reach key audiences, drive systemic change in the food system and achieve our new strategic goals:
You will develop and implement a media and communications strategy, build our media profile, oversee digital channels, and act as guardian of our brand. This includes centring communities at the heart of campaigns, building our public profile with key audiences including journalists, developing our range of allies, reflecting our understanding of historical injustice in the food system, and fostering an experimentation and learning culture. This role will also oversee all website and social media channels, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure communications are built into campaigns from the outset to enhance reach and potential.
This role would suit an experienced communications professional who is excited to think deeply about the way communications can support systemic change in the food sector. Experience with managing relationships with journalists and media outlets, identifying and pursuing stories, managing change, and contributing to organisational learning will be critical.

What you'll do:
Operational
* Support the delivery of planned, cyclical and sustainability projects from inception to completion, including programme planning, site inspections, stakeholder engagement and project reporting.
* Monitor project progress, defects and remedial actions, escalating issues to Project Managers as appropriate.
* Maintain accurate property, project and compliance records, ensuring servicing information and certification remain up to date.
* Support the maintenance of Asprey and associated asset management systems, including the validation of stock condition, survey, compliance and completed works data.
* Work alongside Surveyors and Asset Management colleagues to support property inspections, data assurance, investment planning and regulatory reporting.
