The Women & Families Resource Centre (WFRC) is a registered charity based in
Wolverhampton which supports, empowers and advocates for women and children.

Wolverhampton Baby Bank is a flagship project run by The Women & Families
Resource Centre, a registered charity supporting families with children aged 0-3.
Through donated essentials and community engagement, we provide much-needed
items such as:
• Essential supplies for babies and toddlers, including nappies, wipes, clothing, toys,
and bedding.
• Support services for new parents, including drop-in groups and befriending for
pregnant women and new mothers.
• Referrals and resources to connect families with additional community services.
Scope and Span
The Recruitment Support Officer assists in sourcing, screening, coordinating, and onboarding volunteers and team members across the operations.

- Commit to a maximum of 3 core days per week, 4 hours per day, and a minimum of 12 hours per week.
- Attend agreed shifts consistently and provide notice if unable to attend.
- Complete an induction before starting and participate in a 6-week review to confirm long-term placement and eligibility for expense reimbursement (where applicable).
- Carry out agreed tasks responsibly, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
- Treat service users, staff, and fellow volunteers with respect and compassion.
- Communicate openly about availability, concerns, or if feeling overwhelmed to prevent burnout and overcommitment.

As a reception/admin volunteer, you'll be the welcoming face of Tŷ Hafan, tackling a variety of exciting admin tasks and projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable office experience or to share your existing skills, all whilst supporting an important cause.

Age requirement: 18+
Background checks: we will ask you to provide us with 2 references and a basic DBS check is required for this role.
This role is perfect for someone who is friendly, approachable, enthusiastic and works well as part of a team.
Confidence speaking on the phone and using the pc/laptop are required for this role.
Activities include:
• Support the Facilities Team with essential admin tasks
• Organise and update files – both paper and digital
• Data entry to keep our records accurate
• Assist with audits and inventories at Head Office and the Hospice
• Help with project research and computer filing
• Welcome visitors by covering reception and greeting staff and visitors
• Answer calls and manage the entry barrier

What will you be doing?
To support delivery of the E‑Save app, you’ll provide essential administrative support to our volunteer‑led, largely remote organisation.
You’ll help keep the charity running smoothly by supporting the board and key personnel with communications, record‑keeping, document updates, online meeting organisation, task tracking and maintaining clear, well‑ordered systems.
What are we looking for?
We’re seeking a UK‑based volunteer with at least three years’ administrative experience, including confident use of Microsoft tools.
You’ll be organised, detail‑focused and able to manage your own workload.
You’ll support meetings, maintain online files, update documents, manage data and contact lists, and provide general admin support to the Board, Operations Director and volunteer HR team as needed.
