Trustee – Income Growth
We are seeking a Trustee with the knowledge and experience to help us grow and diversify our income streams across both the Charity and Family Fund Business Services, working seamlessly and efficiently as one Group. We want to maximise the income streams, partnerships, and relationships we already have, while also exploring and moving at pace into new areas that align with our strategy and goals. Trustee – Fundraising & Philanthropy
We hope to find a Trustee with experience in major fundraising to advise us on strategies to strengthen and broaden our fundraised income. We want to enhance and grow our core fundraising functions, focusing on individual giving, legacies, and community engagement, to sustain current delivery and unlock new income streams that enable the development of future services and support. We will have clear plans for major donors and high-net-worth individuals, trusts and foundations, and corporate partnerships to build unrestricted and core funding.

Our Story
Influential Stars was founded by Lisa Connell, who is living with an inoperable brain tumour and has spent many years raising awareness and support for UK causes. The platform was created from a deeply personal belief that influence, connection, and community can be powerful forces for good when brought together in the right way.
Volunteers play a vital role in helping turn that vision into real world impact, enabling experiences that raise funds, create joy for winners, and support charitable organisations across the UK.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced, confident, and creative Volunteer Social Media Manager to take ownership of Influential Stars’ social media presence across multiple platforms.
This is a hands-on role for someone capable of planning, creating, and scheduling purposeful content that raises awareness, builds community engagement, and supports campaigns across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow Influential Stars’ social media presence across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn
Plan, create, and schedule consistent content aligned with the organisation’s mission and tone of voice
Develop content that inspires awareness, connection, and positive action
Share stories, campaigns, and updates in a sensitive and engaging way
Maintain content calendars and scheduling systems
Monitor engagement and respond appropriately where required
Coordinate with internal team members to ensure accurate and timely messaging
Maintain brand consistency across all channels
Stay informed about platform trends and opportunities to increase reach
Skills and Experience Required
Essential:
Proven experience managing social media across multiple platforms
Strong understanding of engagement and awareness driven content
Excellent written communication skills and attention to tone
Confidence working independently and taking ownership of output
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage content schedules
Proactive, reliable, and professional approach
Genuine connection to the organisation’s mission and values
Desirable:

Based in London or Hertfordshire for occasional in person meetings (not essential)

Although this is currently a volunteer position, Influential Stars is actively working to grow the platform with the long term aim of creating paid roles. While we are unable to provide a timeframe and future opportunities will depend on the organisation’s growth and incoming work, this role offers the chance to be part of that journey from an early stage.
As Influential Stars is a volunteer-led platform, we are looking for someone who can work proactively and independently, including sourcing content inspiration, planning posts, identifying trends, and helping build consistent social media momentum rather than relying solely on daily instruction.

We run free virtual and in-person peer support meetings for adults facing life’s difficult moments, particularly bereavement.
The Opportunity

You'll help us spread our message that nobody should face grief alone, connect people to our free virtual and in-person peer support meetings, and grow an online community built on openness and compassion. Volunteer Admissions Assistant
You'll be multitasking throughout the day, with a mix of responsibilities including customer service, ticket sales, promoting Gift Aid donations, shop duties, guiding visitors and providing information about the Museum and the collection. This role offers plenty of variety, and you'll play an important part in making every visitor's experience unforgettable.
Training and support:
All volunteers will first be invited for a training shift. We have an induction and training process, during which we give volunteers the information they need to enjoy their time with us. Training is mainly 'on the job', supported by an experienced volunteer as well as the manager on duty. Volunteers are given regular feedback and we remain open to suggestions on how we can improve the volunteer experience. The Admissions Assistant receives continued training and development throughout their time with us.
Availability:
We are looking for volunteers who would ideally like to donate 2-4 shifts per month, weekdays or weekends, either as a 10-1.30pm shift, or a 1.30-5pm shift, for a minimum of 3 months. Ideally, you will be able to start immediately, although this is not essential. Travel expenses up to £5 will be paid, with up to an additional £5 for lunch expenses if you are on a full day shift.
Please note: Applicants from some overseas countries are required to have a relevant work permit or student visa to volunteer in the U.K. We’ll need to see this for our records before volunteering can commence.

MINDSET is a brand‑new men’s wellbeing and personal growth charity, and we’re looking for a talented Volunteer Graphic Designer to help us bring our vision to life.
We want to create a vibrant, positive, modern brand that reflects our mission: helping men build resilience, confidence, emotional awareness, and healthier coping skills through practical, reflective, skills‑based support.
