Are you passionate about empowering communities with life-saving first aid skills? 

Join St John Ambulance as an ambassador for the charity in Lancashire, in our mission to ensure every community and young person is first aid confident. 

About the Role Are you someone who can champion, support, and encourage St John volunteers to thrive in their roles? 

Do you have the confidence and skills to act as an ambassador for St John Ambulance, promoting our work and objectives within the local community? 

Are you committed to building strong relationships, ensuring effective communication, and fostering collaboration across the County? If so, the County President role could be the perfect opportunity for you to make a difference! Key Impact and Responsibilities The County President serves as the charity’s representative in Lancashire, building and strengthening our relationships within the third sector and civil society. 

They champion St John’s critical work, bringing visibility and funds to the vital services we provide. They also act as the figurehead for volunteers in Lancashire, serving as a role model for them and empowering them to make the most out of their volunteering experience. Development and support available 

We are committed to providing ongoing support and development for the right candidate in this volunteer role, offering opportunities to grow and succeed as a leader You will be part of a county team who, along with the County Commissioner as your line manager, will welcome and induct you into the County Council and help provide any support you need in the role.
