The Role

We’re looking for an experienced engineer to act as a technical steward for the Bank.Green website, our primary public-facing platform, working alongside another senior engineer already on the project. Technical decisions are made in a collaborative, consensus-driven way, rather than top-down.

The site is transitioning to Astro, with a React-based frontend, and is deployed via Cloudflare. Content is managed via Prismic as a headless CMS, with data coming from internal GraphQL and REST APIs.

The platform serves roughly 5,000 pages, the majority of which are repeatable, programmatically generated bank profile pages built from shared templates and structured data. As a result, performance, caching, SEO, and build efficiency are key concerns.

This is a hands-on but flexible role, suited to someone who enjoys maintaining and improving real-world infrastructure that thousands of people rely on.

• Building and shipping new frontend features that improve how users understand and act on bank climate data

The Role

We are seeking a compassionate, confident, and highly professional Volunteer Charities & Campaigns Relationship Manager to build and maintain relationships with charitable organisations, community groups, and individuals using crowdfunding pages.

This role involves guiding partners from initial contact through onboarding and maintaining ongoing rapport, ensuring they feel supported, understood, and valued throughout their involvement with the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, approach, and invite suitable charities, community groups, and crowdfunding campaigns to join the platform

• Guide partners through the onboarding process from first contact to launch

• Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with both organisations and individuals

• Act as a key point of contact for enquiries, support, and reassurance

• Maintain regular communication to sustain engagement and rapport

• Support individuals who may be experiencing difficult or traumatic circumstances with sensitivity and professionalism

• Coordinate with internal team members to ensure partners receive timely assistance

• Provide clear information about how the platform works and what to expect

• Maintain accurate records of communications and partnership activity using our CRM management system

• Ensure all interactions reflect empathy, professionalism, and respect

Skills and Experience Required

Essential:

• Strong relationship management or engagement experience

• Excellent customer service skills

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

• Confidence communicating by phone, email, and online platforms

• High level of empathy and emotional intelligence

• Ability to communicate sensitively with people experiencing challenging circumstances

Humanists UK has a network of trained school speakers who visit schools on a voluntary basis to raise awareness and understanding of humanism amongst children and young people. As both the network and the demand from schools have grown, we need to increase our capacity to monitor and process requests from teachers. This is done by the Advancing Humanism Administrator (AHA), with the support of Volunteer School Speaker Assistant Coordinators.

We are seeking motivated individuals to become Assistant Coordinators and help support the growth of our School Speaker network.

What is the role?

The Archive, Library and Research team care for the Archive and Library collections at RAF Museum, and support our audiences to undertake research. The public can access our collection on site, via our remote enquires service, or on online via Collections Online website. Our volunteers contribute to this by undertaking a full range of activities to support these services and the long-term preservation of our collection.

What will I be doing?

Tasks will likely involve:

· Checking and recording details about collection items using computer systems

· Undertaking digitisation of collection items to support the enquiry service and Collections Online

· Ensuring accurate records for the image files are kept according to the Museum’s file structure and the Museum’s Digital Asset Management system

· Undertaking basic collection care activities to help look after the collections

· Supporting the enquiry service and helping to answer questions received

· Supporting the team when they contribute to public events by promoting and sharing the collections

· Developing an understanding of museum sector practices and procedures

· Developing an understanding and experience of working with the collections

This role is perfect for you if you…

· Are interested in gaining experience working with the Archive and Library collections

· Are comfortable using computers and have practical IT Skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel

· Can lift and carry documents, and operate a scanner

How much time would I need to commit? 

One full day or half day, ideally once a week, between 10.00 and 16.00 at the RAF Museum London.
