We work across informal living sites, day centres and safehouses to provide safe, youth-focussed spaces and activities to promote trauma mitigation, emotional regulation and identity building. We plan and facilitate a range of activities and workshops in response to the needs and wishes of the teenagers we work with, including arts, sports, music, woodwork, cooking and games, to empower and support them to grow in their identity, self expression and learning of practical and technical skills. Most importantly our sessions build trust and a space of safety that helps mitigate the vast trauma that teenagers have experienced in and before arriving in northern France.

HELP US LAUNCH MINDSET — AND BUILD THE DIGITAL SYSTEMS THAT POWER OUR MISSION
We’re ideally seeking volunteers based in London, but we welcome passionate people from across England who can join virtually and help shape the future of a charity with huge potential.
We’re MINDSET Charity, a bold new start‑up in London on a mission to equip and empower men and boys with the tools they need for better mental health, stronger resilience and long‑term personal growth.
We’re building a stigma‑free movement — a space where men and boys can learn real, practical, non‑clinical skills that help them build better habits, better mindsets and better lives. From 1:1 Life Coaching, to 6‑ and 12‑week self‑improvement programmes, to school workshops for teenage boys, we’re creating something powerful.
And right now, we’re getting ready to launch — and we need an IT & Digital Systems Coordinator who can build the digital infrastructure that keeps MINDSET running safely, smoothly and professionally.
YOUR IMPACT WILL BE HUGE
Joining MINDSET at this early stage means you’re not just “doing IT” — you’re building the systems that will support every volunteer, every programme and every young person or man we help.
Your leadership will directly influence:
how strong and secure our digital foundation becomes;
how effectively we track impact, case notes and programme outcomes;
how smoothly volunteers can work across our platforms;
how safe and protected our data and devices remain;
how quickly and confidently we can launch our charity.
This is your chance to help build a charity from the ground up — shaping its digital infrastructure, its security and its future.
THE ROLE: IT & DIGITAL SYSTEMS COORDINATOR (VOLUNTEER)
As our IT & Digital Systems Coordinator, you’ll research, create and set up the free digital tools that power MINDSET — from cloud‑based CRMs and case‑note systems to impact‑tracking platforms and volunteer management tools.
You’ll configure our Office 365, emails and SharePoint so they’re secure, organised and built for charity use. You’ll lock down our devices — laptops, tablets and phones — so they’re protected, purpose‑built and safe for storing sensitive data.
This role is perfect for someone who loves tech, enjoys problem‑solving and wants to help build a charity from the ground up.
WHAT YOU’LL HELP US BUILD
1. Digital Systems & Infrastructure
Researching and setting up free cloud‑based CRM platforms.
Creating case‑note recording systems to track impact.
Building digital workflows that support volunteers and programmes.
Ensuring systems are simple, secure and fit for purpose.
2. Office 365, Email & SharePoint Setup
Configuring Office 365 for charity use.
Setting up secure email accounts and access levels.
Building a structured, safe SharePoint Drive.
Ensuring everything is compliant, organised and easy to use.
3. Device Configuration & Security
Setting up laptops, tablets and phones for MINDSET use only.
Locking devices so they cannot be used for other purposes.
Ensuring all data is encrypted, protected and secure.
Implementing best‑practice security measures.
4. Digital Support & Volunteer Enablement
Helping volunteers navigate systems with confidence.
Troubleshooting issues and keeping everything running smoothly.
Creating simple guides, walkthroughs and support materials.
Making sure every volunteer feels supported and capable.
5. Building a Strong Digital Foundation
Creating systems future teams can rely on.
Supporting risk management and data protection.
Helping MINDSET grow safely, professionally and sustainably.
WE’RE NOT JUST LOOKING FOR ANYONE
We’re especially interested in people who:
have experience with IT systems, cloud platforms or digital tools;
enjoy researching, testing and building new digital solutions;
understand data security, device protection and good digital practice;
bring clarity, structure and problem‑solving skills;
care deeply about men’s mental health, wellbeing and personal growth;
want to help build a charity from scratch;
enjoy empowering volunteers through simple, effective systems.
If you’re someone who loves building systems, solving problems and creating digital foundations — this is your moment.

Inclusive Boards is delighted to support University of Birmingham Guild of Students in their search for their next Chair of Trustees.
The Guild of Students plays a key and pivotal role in the student experience at Birmingham, offering a range of services and activities which not only help to attract students to the University, but which also contribute to a vibrant student experience, as well as supporting the wider sense of community and belonging.
The breadth of the Guild’s service and activity portfolio is comparable with other large students’ unions in the Russell Group and as an organisation the Guild is well regarded within the sector. As leaders in the field, the Guild has paved the way in key areas such as representation, student groups and societies, social opportunities, events and activities.
About the Chair opportunity
This is a brilliant opportunity to join an award-winning, multifaceted, and complex charity as our next Chair of Trustees. The Trustee Board is collectively responsible for overseeing the affairs of the Guild and ensuring that the Guild works for and with its membership in all that it does. We are in the final year of the Guild’s 2022-27 strategy (aligned to the University’s priorities under its strategic framework, ‘Birmingham 2030’), making this a formative time as we look beyond 2027, in a challenging time for the Higher Education sector. We are seeking skilled leadership to continue to support us to deliver excellence and are, therefore, looking for an experienced non-executive, with demonstrable experience of supporting organisations at Board level.
The Guild values applications from a wide range of backgrounds that are reflective of the full diversity of Birmingham’s community, in particular from Black, Asian, and minoritised ethnicities as we seek to continually enhance diversity within our governance structures.
We would encourage candidates with current or previous experience in charities or the public sector, with experience of chairing meetings and of non-executive leadership, to apply. A connection to the Guild or University and/or to the West Midlands area is also beneficial, but not essential. Full details are outlined in the role description and person specification.

DofE Program Leader
Challenge Adventure Group (“CAG” for short and the operating name of CAG Trust) is a voluntary youth organisation for Knowle, Dorridge and beyond aimed at boys aged 10 and above.
As our name suggests, we provide challenging, adventurous and fun activities and the D of E Award for young people in their leisure time. Taking part in fun experiential activities enables members to develop their physical and mental skills and capacities and reach their full potential of becoming positive, active and happy citizens.
Summary
CAG was formed in 2009 and became a charity, CAG Trust, in 2019. The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) is a UK charity that makes a difference to young people’s lives and prepares them for life and work. Young people from every possible background take part in the DofE programme each year to broaden their horizons, develop their leadership skills, learn to work with others, volunteer in their local communities, increase their employability, and prove to themselves they can succeed at a serious challenge.
The DofE Leaders perform a vital role on behalf of the DofE and CAG. They are the adult leaders responsible for the management and training of a DofE group which could be at Bronze, Silver or Gold level. They lead, guide, train and support young people, agree their program choices, sign off their completed sections and approve their eDofE evidence.
