What difference will you make?
As someone with financial skills, you can help ensure MHF's board can understand & review the charity's financial position with greater confidence. Following an away-day last year, several new missions were developed as MHF is now within touching distance of realising its original 657 mission set in March 2003, some 23 years ago. We plan on announcing the new mission imminently, meaning within the next 2-3 months. Truly exiting times ahead. Interested in being a part of the journey? Lead with heart. Create connection. Change lives.
At Bright Connections, we believe in a simple but powerful truth: no one should feel alone.
We are a brand new and small, volunteer-run and community-led charitable project based in East London, on a mission to break social isolation for people living with disabilities. Through joyful activities, shared experiences, and a community rooted in belonging, we create spaces where friendships can grow, confidence can flourish, and every person feels seen, valued, and connected.
Our journey began with one family’s love for a sister whose world had become small and quiet. From that love grew a movement — one that believes friendship is a human right, and that connection can transform lives.
To help us get fully set up and launched, we are looking for two volunteers, who can take on these flexible hybrid volunteer roles of Manager and Deputy Manager to help lead Bright Connections and shape its future.
Your role
As part of our small and passionate leadership team, you will help guide the direction of the project, support volunteers, and ensure our activities continue to bring joy and connection to those who need it most.
This is a flexible, hybrid role, designed to fit around your life while making a meaningful impact.
You might be involved in:
-
Coordinating and supporting volunteers.
-
Helping plan and oversee activities and community events.
-
Contributing to the development and growth of the project.
-
Ensuring a warm, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all.
Why this matters
- Your leadership will help create spaces where friendships begin.
- Your support will help someone feel seen, valued, and included.
- Your time will help build a community that changes lives.
Who you are
-
Compassionate, reliable, and motivated by making a difference.
-
Comfortable taking initiative and working as part of a small team.
-
Interested in leadership, community work, or building something meaningful.
-
Able to commit flexibly in a hybrid (remote and in-person) capacity.
What you’ll gain
-
The opportunity to play a key leadership role in a growing community initiative.
-
Valuable experience in project coordination and team leadership.
-
A chance to shape something meaningful from the ground up.
-
The knowledge that your contribution is helping reduce isolation and build real human connection.
At Bright Connections, we are more than a project, we are a movement rooted in kindness, inclusion, and belonging.
Together, we shine brighter.
If you’re ready to help lead with purpose and heart, we would love to hear from you.
Help us build a community where no one is left behind.

Inclusive Boards is delighted to be supporting Lambeth Links in their search for two new Trustees.
About Lambeth Links
Lambeth Links is the LGBTQIA+ community forum for Lambeth. We bring together people who live, work and socialise in the borough to share information, support each other and speak with a stronger voice.
Lambeth has a long history of LGBTQIA+ activism and culture. From early campaigning groups and community organisations to major events, the borough has often been at the centre of change. Lambeth Links builds on that history and works with partners across the borough to improve life for LGBTQIA+ people in times of both need and celebration.
We are now in a new phase of growth following three year funding from the National Lottery Community Fund. This funding helps us strengthen our core work and widen our reach across the borough.
We are seeking to appoint 2 Trustees with expertise in one of the following areas:
- Fundraising and Income Generation
- People and Volunteering
About the Fundraising and Income Generation Trustee role
You will lead on fundraising and income generation at Board level. You will help Lambeth Links secure and grow the resources it needs to deliver its plans in a sustainable way.
Experience and knowledge:
- Experience in fundraising, business development, partnerships or income generation.
- Understanding of at least one area of fundraising such as grants, corporate partnerships, events or individual giving.
- Experience of developing or reviewing funding proposals or business cases.
About the People and Volunteering Trustee role
You will lead on people and volunteering at Board level. You will support safe, fair and inclusive approaches to staff and volunteer involvement as Lambeth Links grows.
Experience and knowledge:
- Experience in HR, people management, organisational development or volunteer management.
- Understanding of fair and inclusive people practices in small or medium organisations.
- Experience of supporting managers or volunteers through change, growth or challenge.
The Choir with No Name runs choirs and builds joyful singing communities with people impacted by homelessness and marginalisation across the UK. Our vision is simple but powerful: that everyone going through tough times can find a place to sing their hearts out, among friends. We are now looking for passionate and skilled people to join our board of trustees and help us deliver on that vision.
As a trustee, you will be joining a committed and experienced board at an exciting moment in our charity's development. We are currently developing a new three-year strategy with ambitions to grow our reach, open new choirs, and deepen our impact with the people we serve. Our board is supported by four sub-committees - Finance and Fundraising, Artistic Direction, Business Development, and People - and we are looking for trustees who can contribute meaningfully to one or more of these areas.
We would particularly welcome applications from people with experience in areas where we are looking to strengthen the board, including communications, PR, choral singing and music and health. We are also keen to build a board that reflects the communities we serve, and we actively encourage applications from people with lived experience of homelessness or marginalisation, and from those who are currently underrepresented in the charity sector.
Trusteeship with the Choir with No Name is a voluntary role, but it is far from a passive one. We are an organisation full of warmth, creativity and ambition, and we want trustees who will bring their skills and experience to bear while sharing our deep commitment to using the power of singing to change lives. If you believe - as we do - that singing together can transform people's wellbeing and open up new possibilities, we'd love to hear from you.
Closing date 20th May 2026.
