Titan Partnership is recruiting new trustees to join our collaborative, values-driven Board.

For more than two decades, Titan has brought schools and partners together across North and West Birmingham to strengthen education, support communities and expand opportunities for young people.

As we begin our ambitious 2026-2029 strategy, our trustees will play an important role in ensuring that Titan remains strategically focused, financially resilient and deeply connected to the communities we serve.

We would particularly like to hear from people with senior experience in finance, audit, risk, charity governance or organisational leadership who can offer constructive challenge and share our commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people.

These are voluntary roles. Trustees attend approximately four Board meetings each year, plus occasional strategy sessions. The Finance Trustee will also chair the Finance and Pay Committee, which meets four times a year. Reasonable expenses are reimbursed.

About the role

As a Volunteer Peer Group Facilitator you will: 

As a Volunteer Peer Group Facilitator, you will play a key role in delivering our peer support groups. These groups run all around the county throughout the week. You will work alongside our team of peer support workers and other peer support volunteers.

There is some flexibility with volunteering opportunities ranging from a minimum of 2-3 hours weekly to monthly commitments.

There may also be the opportunity to attend different community events to advertise the service.

There will be full training opportunities to ensure that you are successful in your volunteering role, as well as regular check-in meetings.

About the service  

The Empowering Minds Gloucestershire Service currently run group sessions for service users across Gloucestershire. 

Our team is dedicated to delivering a high-quality service that focuses on supporting individuals to achieve their recovery goals. The aim is to improve the lives and support independence for those living with a mental illness. The team will engage with other local providers to ensure a clear and seamless pathway for those that require support from multiple providers. 

What will make you a great fit for this role?  

• Lived experience of mental illness, whether that is caring for someone else or yourself.
• Reliability and good timekeeping.
• Have a good understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding.
• Basic IT knowledge.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• To have empathy and remain non-judgemental.

As our Lived Experience Coordination Volunteer, you will help run our lived experience groups, support the everyday admin that keeps our programmes going, and help communicate with participants in a genuine, informed way. This is a flexible, varied role shaped around your strengths and availability.

Location: Hub/community/home based location, London.

Suggested contribution: Approximately 7 - 14 hours per month, flexible and to be agreed together

Availability: Volunteering will take place at a time that suits you, within Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

IRMO works to enable the development, agency, and participation of Latin Americans and other Spanish and Portuguese speakers, by responding to both immediate needs and structural inequalities. We do this by offering high-quality information and advice services, opportunities for development and training, and a platform to seek social and systemic change. Our work is organised across three main operational areas - Advice and Casework; Education, Training and Employment; Children and Young People - and a cross-cutting area - Advocacy, Research, Policy Mapping and Campaigning. 

About our Education, Training and Employment Programme

Our comprehensive Education, Training and Employment (ETE) programme runs various activities to improve our beneficiaries' social and cultural integration in the UK. These activities include 12-week English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) courses for adults and online conversation classes. 

We also deliver one-to-one employment support, mentoring, vocational training, and workshops on a range of topics to support the Latin American community in navigating the UK system. Additionally, our volunteer scheme provides volunteers with valuable work experience to enter London’s competitive job market. About the role

We are looking for a motivated ESOL Teaching Assistant to support the smooth delivery of our ESOL classes at Pre-Entry and Entry 1 levels for Latin American migrants and refugees. You will assist the ESOL Teacher with classroom delivery following our pre-prepared syllabus and teaching materials, along with a variety of audio-visual aids to improve learners’ speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in English.

As an ESOL Teaching Assistant, you will encourage learners to communicate using the structures and vocabulary they have learnt, with a strong emphasis on dialogue and role-playing, alongside more formal exercises and language games.

We are seeking a volunteer holding either a formal teaching qualification (e.g. CELTA, CertESOL or similar) or prior experience in teaching English to speakers of other languages. 

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Support with the planning, preparation and delivery of high-quality ESOL lessons in a community setting

• Mark and provide appropriate feedback on oral and written work

• Guide the class according to the syllabus and learning outcomes as instructed

• Ensure learners participation during class and monitor attendance

• Create a safe and inclusive learning environment, identify gaps and adapt activities to learners’ needs

• Provide one-to-one learner support in class as required, to ensure needs relating to learning difficulties and disabilities are met

• Prepare and set exercises, materials and examination papers as necessary

• Undertake administrative tasks, such as keeping student registers and attendance records

• Provide logistical support with arranging the room, setting out refreshments and class tidy upContribute towards outcome and impact measurement for learners at the end of each term

We are looking for

• A recognised ESOL qualification, such as those listed on the TESOL website, is essential (e.g. TEFL or CELTA) or equivalent experience

• Verbal and written communication skills in English and either Spanish and/or Portuguese

Information about the role

This role involves supporting at a range of events to help raise money and awareness to tackle the housing emergency. It’s a really flexible opportunity. Once you’re signed up, we’ll let you know about upcoming events and tasks, and you can decide which you’d like to do. 

Location: Lancashire (various)

Suggested contribution: It’s up to you! Ideally, you’d help out at least 4-5 times per year, but this is flexible.

Title:  Operations Lead

About the Role: We are looking for an organised, self-motivated Coordinator to manage our communications and inbox operations independently. You will be the primary point of contact for our volunteer teachers, ensuring smooth operations by following our clear organisation handbook and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inbox Triage & Teacher Support: Answer routine teacher inquiries independently using established SOPs and the Teacher Handbook. 

• Issue Resolution: Address logistics or schedule friction between teachers and students. 

• Safeguarding Escalation: Identify sensitive issues or trauma reports and immediately route them to the Safeguarding Officer per protocol.

• Teacher Onboarding: Lead the onboarding process for new teacher cohorts (once every three months).

• Match students: Match students with teachers (once every three months)

Qualifications:

• Excellent English written and verbal communication.

• Proficiency in Arabic, French, or German is a strong asset.

• Strong decision-making skills; ability to read policy documentation and act without constant supervision.

• High interpersonal skills, patience, and professional judgment.

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and accountable for completing tasks end to end.

Time Commitment:

• 4 days/week (approximately totalling 4–5 hours per week).

As an Activities Organiser, you'll bring your skills, energy and enthusiasm to lead, develop and plan activities and events with your local group. You’ll get involved in creating and coordinating an annual calendar of events, making sure they’re run safely and effectively, to be accessible to our MS community. You’ll take a lead role at events on the day, inspiring your fellow volunteers to get involved.

Purpose of the Role:

To support the delivery of engaging and inclusive football sessions as part of the Baytree Centre’s GEMS programme, which offers after-school clubs for girls aged 5–18, you will work alongside a football coach to help create a safe and supportive environment where girls can develop their skills, build confidence, and enjoy being active. You will escort the girls to an off-site football pitch where a professional coach will lead the session. 

Main Responsibilities:

- Escort the participants from Baytree to the offsite location.

- Support the football coach in delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and personal development.

- Help maintain a supportive atmosphere where girls feel comfortable building confidence and working as a team.

- Assist with administrative tasks such as attendance tracking.

- Adhere to Baytree Centre policies and safeguarding procedures. 

Skills and Qualities Required:

- Empathy and patience to work effectively with girls of varying ages, backgrounds, and abilities. - Strong communication skills to engage positively with participants, other volunteers, and staff. - Creativity and enthusiasm for delivering fun, skills-based activities.

- Reliability and commitment to attend scheduled sessions consistently.

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and take direction from the coach.

Commitment:

- One session per week lasting one hour for a minimum of two terms.
