To help make that happen, we’re looking for a passionate and skilled Partnership Manager who can lead the way in building and nurturing strong, impactful relationships with organisations across the homelessness support sector and beyond.

The right person will be central to creating joined-up, holistic partnerships with charities, local authorities, healthcare providers, housing agencies, and community groups who share our commitment to helping vulnerable people rebuild their lives. This role is about making the most of our combined resources, improving how we work together, and ultimately creating better outcomes for those we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain effective partnerships with key organisations such as DWP (Department for Work and Pensions), Feedo Needo, St Basils, SIFA Fireside, West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA), Birmingham City Council, local housing providers, community groups, healthcare services, and faith-based organisations.

• Develop relationships with hotels, B&Bs, and temporary accommodation providers to help bridge the gap in emergency housing provision during weekends, evenings, and bank holidays, when many statutory and support services are unavailable.

• Secure in-kind donations by working with local businesses, retailers, and community partners in collaboration with our Fundraising Officer to obtain essential supplies (e.g. hygiene products, clothing, food), as well as gifts and prizes for raffles, events, and seasonal campaigns (such as Christmas gift drives or care packages).

• Act as the lead representative for Diver’s Community CIC in all partnership-related engagements

• Facilitate multi-agency collaboration and strong referral pathways between organisations supporting individuals experiencing homelessness.

• Identify and pursue new partnership and funding opportunities

• Embedding partnership work into the heart of our outreach, support, and service delivery.

• Promote a person-centred, trauma-informed, and inclusive approach in all partnership

• Raise the profile of Diver’s Community CIC by cultivating a strong local presence and actively promoting our mission and impact.

We are looking for someone who knows the CSA / CMS system to either do some on-line advice sessions or to be on the board readily available to answer CSA questions. This is an on-line role so needs access to facebook and an email address will be provided

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, confident, and highly organised Volunteer Housing & Asset Management Administrator to support our busy Housing and Asset Management teams.

This role is ideal for someone looking to gain experience within a housing association or supported housing environment while making a meaningful contribution to services supporting vulnerable residents.

Causeway is a small housing association, originally set up to accommodate young Irish migrants, and now providing housing and support services to people from anywhere in the world, with a wide range of needs – from those who just need an affordable place to live, to those who need a helping hand to achieve their life goals.

Join our amazing volunteer team to raise awareness of sight loss and RNIB services at local events. You will give talks in person or virtually, sharing your own story to improve understanding of sight loss to local service providers and community groups. You’ll be making a real difference to people living with sight loss by helping to improve accessibility and inclusivity, creating a world without barriers.

What you’ll be doing:
• Giving talks to groups of people to raise awareness of sight loss in your local community by sharing your story to audiences, for example, local businesses, community and voluntary groups.
• Delivering Talks to raise awareness of RNIB services as a trusted source of support for blind and partially sighted people

• Representing RNIB as an Ambassador for the Community Connection service

OPERATIONAL SUPPORT VOLUNTEER

First Aid Services Operations deploy hundreds of volunteers and employees every week on community and
commercial events, to make sure first aid is available in our local communities, as and when it is needed.
Operational Support is a flexible role which will work with, and proactively provide support to, various teams
to ensure volunteers always have a positive experience. This could range from carrying out practical tasks
which positively impact our people’s welfare on events, to be a friendly face welcoming new volunteers to
selection events, or existing volunteers to their Clinical Competency Assessments, or even helping Units to
increase their presence in the community.

Other tasks could include helping make and serve refreshments, regularly checking to see if everyone is ok and signposting to support available through My Wellbeing, where necessary.
• Support Training and Recruitment teams on selection events, welcome events, training events and Clinical Competency Assessments, to ensure they run smoothly and are a positive experience. This can include welcoming and signing in attendees, collating and processing relevant paperwork, inputting outcomes on computer programmes, providing refreshments and invigilating written assessments.
• Assist Unit Managers to increase their Unit’s presence in the local community by promoting recruitment opportunities, supporting the fundraising lead and building relationships with local organisations to raise awareness of first aid.
• Perform any other administrative and support duties commensurate with these responsibilities to keep the organisation running smoothly.

Connection Support has a range of services providing support to people at risk of homelessness or on the edge of needing social care. We work with people made vulnerable through debt, mental health issues, substance misuse, learning disability, and physical disabilities.

Volunteers play a key role in the provision of vital services to our clients.

Are you a reliable handyperson who can undertake, upkeep, and repair a range of tasks for our housing support clients?

We are looking for volunteers to assist our Shop Managers in our brand new shop in Hemel Hempstead

Key Volunteer Activities:

• Assisting with the donations of stock, by sorting and steaming and preparing for shop floor
• Maintaining good stock rotation and levels at all times
• Helping with visual merchandising when needed
• Greeting customers in a friendly and approachable manner
• Understanding the Charities key standards and Values
• Becoming familiar with our Health and Safety Policies and being able to convey these to other volunteers

About the Role:

Survivor Service

Honorary therapists work within the Psychotherapy Service team to provide emotional and therapeutic support to young people and children with learning disabilities and autistic people who have experienced abuse or trauma. The post will entail jointly assessing and providing individual therapy and having weekly supervision with our therapists.

Requirements:

· Availability for in-person clinical work on Tuesdays

· Capacity to hold a caseload of up to 3 clients

· Attendance at online clinical supervision on Mondays, either 9.00-11.00am or 11.30am-1.30pm

· Attendance at in-person team meetings on the third Monday of each month (helpful but not mandatory)

· Currently enrolled in (or recently completed) a Level 4 or above counselling/psychotherapy course

· Student member of the BACP, UKCP, HCPC (or equivalent professional body) and adhere to ethical framework of awarding professional body

· Minimum of 50 supervised client hours completed

· Minimum commitment of 1 year

We are looking for someone keen to help with coordinating activities between the charities we support and enabling links between them and key local bodies such as councils and the NHS.

We are a very ambitious local grant-making charity that also offers various training, support and consultancy services to small charities and community groups in West London. We now support over 200 local charities and are keen to organise events that bring them together and to promote their access to and influence on key local decision makers. You would also be helping with supporting them with basic governance and management issues.

Our ideal candidate would have a good all-round background in management, consultancy or organisational professional services gained over a number of years, but they need not be experienced in the areas mentioned above. You'd be given full training, with the opportunity to shadow the people already working in these areas. Far more important is adaptability, initiative, an ability to get on well with people from all sorts of backgrounds, and good organisational skills. Most crucially you would have a demonstrable commitment to our ideals of promoting a strong and influential civil society in West London. You will thrive on challenges and find rewards in seeing our objectives achieved.

You would ideally be able to commit an average of 1 day a week and the work would involve dealing with our groups during office hours, so you will probably be someone who is working part-time, or is perhaps retired or semi-retired, or is otherwise not in full-time employment.

Much of the work would be taking place from home, but it will also involve some face to face contact with clients, so living in or around the Ealing, Hounslow or Hillingdon boroughs would be an advantage.
