What you will contribute

Evaluate patient’s emotional and physical condition at screening and on ship by performing manual muscle testing, Range Of Motion and other tests as needed

Coordinate and participate in the planning, implementation and evaluation of patient treatment plans and goals, utilizing selected physical therapy procedures including physical agents, therapeutic exercise and gait and functional training

Discuss and document treatment goals and therapy with patients, family and staff

Evaluate patients during treatment to determine effectiveness and safety, modifying treatment plan as indicated

Assist with fabrication of orthotics and other supports

Serve as a consultant to physicians and nurses regarding Physical Therapy services

For This Role, You Will Need

Registered Physical Therapist with active license and a minimum of two years’ experience

Experienced with surgical patients preferred, including orthopedics and burn reconstruction, as well as experience in musculoskeletal outpatients

Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)

Fluent in Engish

· Facilitate weekly group sessions

· Encourage participation and positive peer support

Our fundraising team leaders have the exciting and varied role of inspiring our fundraising volunteers to plan and deliver local fundraising events. Using their passion and imagination, they oversee a small team of fundraising volunteers who come together to raise the vital funds needed to cover costs such as veterinary bills and food. Our fundraising team leaders support their team of volunteers in all aspects of their roles, making sure our volunteers are happy, confident and supported. Activities include:

· Supporting and encouraging a team of fundraising volunteers

You will be supported and guided from our National Cat Centre and through our regional and local volunteer groups and teams. As a volunteer, you will work alongside staff and other volunteers to help the day run smoothly and make sure every child feels welcome, included and encouraged.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys spending time with children, likes hands-on volunteering and wants to make a positive difference in their community.

What you will be doing

You will help make our holiday club a safe, positive and fun place for children.

Your tasks may include:

• Helping to prepare activity spaces before children arrive
• Welcoming children and families and helping with registration
• Assisting with games, creative activities, sports and group sessions

• Supporting children during transitions between activities
