About This Job
This is an exciting and rewarding role managing award programmes recognising the achievements of the cadets and volunteers of the Combined Cadet Force and Army Cadet Force (UK Cadets). Working across two national cadet charities, you will proactively identify deserving individuals, manage and modernise the awards process, provide expert advice and seek additional national external awards and recognition.
We are looking for someone with experience in writing persuasive award citations or funding applications, with exceptional communication and process management skills.
This role is key to ensuring that the remarkable cadets and volunteers of the UK Cadets are appropriately recognised and celebrated for their extraordinary contributions.
Essential Skills

JOB PURPOSE
Magic Breakfast’s mission is to end child morning hunger in the UK now and for good. The Engagement Partner will be responsible for delivering both face to face and remote engagement with schools, teachers, children and young people, and their wider communities within an allocated area. The role will support schools with the setup, rollout and continuous improvement of breakfast provision, and engage with school communities to educate on the importance of breakfast on learning, enabling increased uptake in a barrier and stigma free way by optimising provision and encouraging reach.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To develop strong relationships with supported schools in the allocated area, enabling, preserving, embedding, enhancing and extending stigma- and barrier-free breakfast provision through a combination of in person and remote engagement.
To educate and engage the wider school community, including teachers, parents and children and young people, on the importance of breakfast and the implications of hunger as a barrier to learning through assemblies, staff meetings, online support, virtual and in-person events, and regional events throughout the academic year.
To engage with the wider community, both in person and remotely, to advocate for the importance of breakfast, promote the work being delivered in existing schools, and support Magic Breakfast’s campaigning and advocacy strategy and plans.
To support supporter visits, volunteering activity, funder engagement and any related requirements, both in person and remotely.

About Chapter One
Chapter One is a growing charity, working to ensure that every child has 1:1 reading support at the time they need it most.
Our unique Online Reading Volunteer programme currently supports about 3,500 children a year. It pairs disadvantaged, struggling five to eight-year old (KS1) readers with reading support volunteers who come from over 180 local and national businesses. The volunteer task is very focused: readers commit 30 minutes a week to read with a child using a bespoke digital platform for an entire academic year. The results are transformative, boosting children's reading confidence and ability.

Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary coordinator for corporate partnership communications and content, managing workflow, timelines, follow-up and sign-off.

Contribute to improving processes, workflows and consistency across corporate partnership communications activity.
Represent Chapter One professionally in all partner interactions.
General Responsibilities
Attend online and in-person meetings and relevant team sessions to support collaboration, communication and delivery of Chapter One’s activities.
Provide general administrative support to the Marketing & Communication and Corporate Partnerships teams as required.

We’re looking for accredited professionals from a CWP, EMHP or similar background, with proven experience delivering low‑intensity CBT interventions.
In this role you will be working with children and young people with ADHD and/or Autism, where neurodivergence is diagnosed or suspected, and presentations are mild to moderate. This is a low‑intensity, first‑line CBT offer, delivered through in‑person sessions and/or group work.
Key responsibilities include triaging referrals, completing wellbeing assessments, and delivering short‑term, evidence‑based treatment.
About you
You will have solid experience of delivering evidence-based, short term low-intervention therapy to Children and Young People (8-24) in a community setting. Along with substantive experience of working with Children and Young People (8-24) with suspected or diagnosed Neurodivergent conditions (ADHD and Autism).
You will already be accredited or eligible for accreditation under HCPC, BACP, BABCP, UKCP, BPS, PTUK or AFSP.
You are a strong team player, confident working under supervision, and able to safeguard young people while running groups or structured activities. You can communicate complex information clearly both verbally and in writing, while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
