This is an exciting job opportunity to join a dynamic & committed team, in a key frontline role working directly within our Heads-Out mental health service, which provides individualised mental health plans, crisis safety plans and support, mental wellbeing workshops, varied mental health support groups including for those seeking asylum, a trans & non-binary group; LGBTQ+ mental health group, and LGBTQ+ social connections & activities group. 

Opportunities will include delivery of specialised interventions, taking direct referrals and helping to support & stabilise those at heightened risk and/ or living through mental health crisis, plus psychoeducation workshops and group programmes will further enable you to engage, empower & support participants to build confidence, develop skills, strategies & achieve goals to improve, maintain & best manage mental health, increase mental wellbeing, and reduce and/ or prevent future crisis.

elop is a well established thriving and award-wining London based community-led LGBTQ+ mental health & wellbeing charity offering a range of high-quality and professional mental health, counselling and wellbeingsupport services to lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBTQ+) communities. 

There will be one regular evening/ week and occasional other evenings and weekend working required.

NB: There will initially be both in-person office-based working with some remote home-based working required whilst we’re awaiting completion of building works and relocation to new premises

About the role

Reporting in to the Church Engagement & Fundraising Advisor, the Church Engagement & Fundraising Officer will empower people and amplifying change by proactively identifying opportunities to inspire and equip a defined set of churches, groups, specialist volunteers,
and individuals.

The post-holder will foster relationships built on trust and openness, collaborating both across and outside the organisation to drive meaningful impact in fundraising and campaigning activities.

Some of the main areas of responsibilities of the Church Engagement & Fundraising Officer include:

• Develop and manage Christian Aid’s relationships with a defined group of key churches and Christian Aid groups through face-to-face and online engagement.
• Maximise the involvement of churches and groups as agents of change in alignment with Christian Aid’s values and goals.
• Proactively identify and engage churches that have not previously supported Christian Aid, building and maintaining a pipeline of prospective churches to Give, Act, and Pray.
• Build and nurture meaningful existing relationships with churches and groups to ensure alignment with Christian Aid’s values and goals.
• Actively promote Christian Aid’s presence and profile by delivering impactful contributions, such as speaking at events, attending festivals, participating in meetings, and utilising communication channels.
• Adapt engagement based on the insights gained from stakeholders to consistently achieve departmental and team targets.
• Supervise and support volunteers, ensuring they are effectively developed and equipped to fulfil Christian Aid’s objectives.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of all activities involving supporters and volunteers, utilising the CRM supporter database.
• Use collected data and insights to inform priorities and drive continuous improvement in processes and outcomes.
• Consistently deliver high-impact outputs, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and striving to maximise the impact of Christian Aid’s work.

About you

• Demonstrable experience and knowledge of church audiences across all denominations.
• Experience of mentoring volunteers to add capacity, skills and aptitude to empower and support them.
• Detailed knowledge of the principles of good donor management or customer care, and understanding of the principles of relationship building.
• Developed communication skills to inspire others to take action and use their skills and resources to fundraise and donate.

In this newly created role of contracts legal specialist, you’ll lead on all contractual legal matters across The Wildlife Trusts Federation, acting as the first point of contact, providing high quality legal advice for contract-related queries. Reporting to our Legal Director, you’ll build successful working relationships across the organisation supporting colleagues to identify, manage and mitigate legal risk while enabling the Charity’s work to thrive. You’ll play a key role in promoting legal compliance, contributing to the development of policies and guidance, and staying up to date with legislative changes and relevant case law. While your focus will be on contract law, you’ll also bring a broad awareness of related areas such as charity and employment law.

Using your legal expertise and excellent communication skills, you will design, organise and deliver training to colleagues, embedding best practice, building capacity and confidence, improving consistency and ensuring value for money on contracting activities. In addition to National Lottery funding, The National Lottery Community Fund distributes funding through the Dormant Assets scheme. Dormant Assets funding in Northern Ireland supports community organisations to become more sustainable and resilient, strengthening areas such as governance, digital capability and organisational development.

Background on Dormant Assets NI

In addition to being a distributor of National Lottery funding, The National Lottery Community Fund distributes money released for social purpose as laid out in the Dormant Bank and Building Society Accounts Act 2008 and the Dormant Assets Act 2022.

This legislation enables funds from dormant bank accounts and other financial products to be channelled towards good causes in the United Kingdom through an independent body called the Reclaim Fund.

Funds are distributed to The National Lottery Community Fund, which in turn makes them available for good causes in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Each devolved administration issues policy directions on how these funds are to be used.

The policy directions issued by the Department of Finance in September 2019 directed The National Lottery Community Fund to establish Dormant Assets NI to build capacity, resilience and sustainability in the third sector across Northern Ireland.

Responsibilities

​Working within the Communications Strategy team, you’ll lead communications activity for Dormant Assets NI. You will focus on raising awareness of the programme, engaging with organisations and sector networks, and sharing learning and impact through a range of channels.

The role combines proactive communications, relationship building, and close working with Policy and Engagement colleagues to support meaningful engagement with the voluntary and community sector. Responsibilities will include:

• Working with the Communications team, lead on communications activity for Dormant Assets NI, including regular funding announcements and programme milestones, ensuring messages reach the right audiences through appropriate channels
• Building and maintaining relationships with sector bodies, networks and specialist media, working closely with colleagues across the organisation, including Policy and Engagement, to amplify awareness of Dormant Assets funding.
• Working closely with the Dormant Assets NI team and the NI Customer Engagement team on the planning and delivery of grant-holder and learning events (in-person and virtual).
• Working with the Fund’s media team, you will lead on announcements, handle dormant-assets-related press requests, and contribute to reactive communications where required.
• Developing impact-focused content, including case studies, newsletters, and web content to demonstrate programme outcomes and learning.
• Planning, writing and scheduling social media content to proactively promote Dormant Assets funding, impact and learning.
• Working directly with grant holders to gather stories of impact, quotes and visual content, including site visits to supported organisations.
• Liaising with the Department of Finance, Reclaim Fund and partners to support programme visibility, stakeholder communications, project visits and photo opportunities.
• Contributing to reporting and accountability requirements, including quarterly updates for the Reclaim Fund, reporting to the Department of Finance, and using internal systems and CMS tools to maintain accurate records and project summaries.

You are a confident and engaging communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.

You enjoy building relationships and working with a wide range of people and organisations.

You may already have experience working with, or communicating with, the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector, or be keen to deepen your understanding of the sector and the context in which it operates in Northern Ireland.

TechFirst is a new national, government funded programme helping young people develop technology skills, explore future careers, and build confidence through meaningful engagement with employers and industry professionals.

By bringing together schools, employers, volunteers, and community partners, we help ensure young people can access high-quality opportunities regardless of their background.

The Role

You will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and supporting employer and delivery partners across the region.

Working closely with the Education Engagement Coordinator and Events and Communications Officer, you will ensure schools have access to a wide range of high-quality activities, volunteers, speakers, mentors, and industry experiences.

You will build long-term partnerships that contribute to programme growth, quality, and impact.

You’ll carry out key administrative tasks, growing the support and development function of the Charity. This is an exciting opportunity to help Cambridge City Foodbank realise its vision of ending the need for foodbanks, through an ambitious strategy operating through networks of affordable food clubs, foodbank welcome centres, holistic support projects, and campaigning to change current systems which contribute to food insecurity.

Your tasks will include stewardship communications with individual donors and creating assets for community supporters to generate food and financial resources. You will assist the securing of income from grant giving trusts and foundations, and will undertake key executive assistant duties on behalf of the Development Director and CEO.

Main Duties:

● Develop strong individual donor relations through regular stewardship communications and powerful fundraising appeals, alongside establishing the associated data and systems;

● Create community development assets, which enables community groups to engage with and provide resources for the Charity, such as for charitable fundraising / food donation events.

● Together with the Development Director and CEO, secure income from, and maintain relations with grant giving trusts and foundations.

● Together with the Development Director and CEO, develop a team of volunteers who can support the work of the Charity’s development function.

● Support the Development Director and CEO, in their communication with supporters and corporate partners, to build good relations, gain and maintain corporate partner support.

● Liaise with colleagues across the Trussell Trust network; sharing best practice and participating in learning opportunities, to further the work of Cambridge City Foodbank.

● Other administrative activities may be requested from time to time by the CEO and Development Director, consistent with the needs of the Charity and role of Executive Assistant.

Personal Specification:

Technical skills and minimum knowledge:

● Strong administrative experience, highly organised, and able to effectively juggle multiple administrative tasks at the same time!

● Competent in the use of Zoom/Teams and MS Office software. Training will be provided to upskill in the use of Canva, Mailchimp, donor databases and social media (such as LinkedIn and Instagram).

● Excellent written and verbal communication and relationship management skills, you will inspire and motivate existing and prospective supporters, providing excellent stewardship and crafting compelling donor updates, applications and appeals.

NB. Experience of charitable fundraising is not essential when demonstrating the strong transferable skills above. Training will be provided.

Our client is looking for people who can work under pressure, remain calm and have excellent communication skills. As team leader to the helpline, you will provide support to a team of helpline workers and volunteers alongside taking calls.

Their Helpline positions are office based at the Erdington location. The Helpline operates between the hours of 9am to 11pm, seven days a week and 365 days a year. Employees work on a rota basis, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Shifts are 9am to 5pm and 3pm to 11pm. This is an on-site role, and no hybrid working is available.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Senior Fundraising Officer to join our team on a fixed-term contract.

Working closely with the Director of Fundraising and the Senior Fundraising Lead, you will ensure our high-value corporate partnerships run smoothly, our high-net-worth events are a success and our external pitches are sharp and well-researched. 

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your hands-on experience across corporate, trusts and foundations and individual giving within a fast-growing charity backed by a globally recognised brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Research and opportunity generation

• Support the team by researching and keeping abreast of new funding opportunities across trusts, foundations, and corporate prospects.
• Compile background research to help the team evaluate and pursue new business leads.

Funding applications and pitch support

• Assist the Senior Fundraising Lead and Director of Fundraising with writing funding applications.
• Help structure and draft compelling pitch documents to support the team’s new business goals.
• Design and adapt templates for various fundraising documents and pitches.

Partnership coordination

• Take ownership of the day-to-day coordination of our corporate and institutional partnerships, ensuring exceptional donor care and seamless communication with external stakeholders (e.g., tracking partnership metrics, coordinating meetings, monthly data reporting and managing external communications).
• Deliver external logistics, such as school visits and workshops for corporate partners.
• Draft and prepare comprehensive reports for funders, while managing and responding to all ad hoc requests efficiently.

Fundraising operations support

• Draft supporter newsletters for our donor communications.

We use accurate data to help improve the quality of critical care through audit, research and education, conducted with, and in the interests of, patients and those who care for them.
 
About the role
 
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to improving care for critically ill patients in the NHS and beyond. Our National Clinical Audits (NCAs) use accurate, complete and valid data to provide hospitals with reports, which benchmark them against their peers, for use in improving the quality of the care they provide. The ideal candidate will utilise their experience, knowledge and skills to make a significant impact across data processing and reporting.
 
You will work across our NCAs, including the Case Mix Programme (CMP), auditing adult critical care, and the National Cardiac Arrest Audit (NCAA), auditing resuscitation team response to in-hospital cardiac arrest. You will manage the participation of an allocation of units/hospitals, supporting audit staff in the collection, submission and processing of high-quality data, and running accurate reports to time and target.
 
What you’ll need to succeed
 
It is essential that you have a proactive attitude, with excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle a large number of contacts. You must be able to communicate, both verbally and in writing, and adapt to different audiences with varied needs and skillsets. You will have strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail, being able to understand and retain datasets and definitions. 
 
Knowledge of the health sector and working with hospitals or similar are desirable but not essential.
