Job description

Location: Flexible (Glasgow/Edinburgh/Kinross)

CHAS is a charity on a mission. We’re determined to be there for every child in Scotland with a life-shortening condition, and their family. To do that, quite simply, we need to raise more money. The Community Fundraising Development Manager is integral to achieving this goal.

Through the implementation of our five year Joy of Giving strategy, this role will lead the community fundraising team across Scotland to achieve our ambitious targets.  Based in any CHAS office, you will work with a dynamic team of staff and volunteers to ensure CHAS fundraising is present in every community in Scotland.

  • Represents the Community Fundraising Team both internally and externally
  • Contributes to the CHAS Joy of Giving Strategy implementation, and the wider CHAS Plan

About You

You will be a highly skilled fundraiser with experience leading teams and working with colleagues and volunteers to achieve a shared ambition. You will be an excellent relationship builder with highly developed communication skills and significant community fundraising experience. You’ll have knowledge of the processes involved in the successful delivery and follow-up of community fundraising activity, as well as a proven track record of successful fundraising growth. You will have experience in strategy and budget setting, and the monitoring and evaluation of activities. You will be driven and self-motivated, and work with a high degree of autonomy.
