The Role

What will I be doing?

You’ll be responsible for a range of activities, including:

• Assisting the wider team to deliver marketing strategies and plans for IOP priority projects.
• Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the organisation.
• Acting as a brand ambassador and ensure that all materials are designed in accordance with the IOP’s brand guidelines and visual identity.
• Supporting the delivery and maintenance of high quality, effective offline and online marketing communications materials that meet set objectives and targets, adhere to brand guidelines and deliver consistent messages.
• Applying creative thinking to support the wider team and assist with developing new promotional opportunities.
• Working closely with the wider Marketing team and internal and external stakeholders.
• Assisting with the evaluation of the effectiveness of campaigns, using insight and monitoring tools. Utilise these learnings to optimise future campaigns.
• Copywriting, editing and proofing a range of online and offline marketing communications materials.

• Promoting the IOP membership to a wide range of audiences.

Who will I work with?

You’ll work closely with a range of colleagues and stakeholders, including:

• Predominantly within the communications and marketing team but also with a range of colleagues across multiple departments.
• External freelancers and production companies.

Axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) is a painful, lifelong inflammatory condition affecting around 1 in  people. Despite this, awareness remains low and diagnosis is often delayed.

ASIF brings together 60 patient organisations across 48 countries to raise awareness, strengthen patient voices and improve understanding of axSpA globally. We are a small, fully remote team who care deeply about the work we do and about working supportively and collaboratively with one another.

We are now looking for an organised, proactive and thoughtful Project Co-ordinator/ Operations Assistant to help us deliver a major international online research study, while also supporting our wider activities.

This is an opportunity to be part of something meaningful - research that will help shape advocacy, awareness and understanding for people living with inflammatory arthritis around the world.

The Role

Your time will be split approximately:

• 70–80% supporting an ambitious international research project·
• 20–30% supporting ASIF’s wider operations

You will work closely with our Project Manager, international member organisations and scientific partners to support all stages of the study, from set-up and ethics submissions through to recruitment, reporting and sharing findings globally.

Alongside this, you’ll help with events, communications and general organisational support, because in a small team, we all contribute where needed.

THE VACANCY

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Agreements Section Assistant to join the team at the ITF. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting our affiliate's agreements  function. We offer a modern, hybrid working pattern, allowing you to split your time between 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home, ensuring a healthy work-life balance while remaining connected to the team.

About the Role

The Agreements Unit Section Assistant will be responsible for processing of ITF Agreement applications, monitoring consultations, assembling and verifying evidence in support of beneficial ownership; representing the ITF to ship-owners, affiliates and inspectors in connection with agreement processes and related matters; responsible for identifying source of  cash receipts relating to Welfare Fund, including unallocated cash receipts and membership fees and preparing special agreements and related documentation.

The Assistant will work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve ITF Agreements and other issues; secure the active interests of ITF’s aims and objectives and provide narrative reports for relevant decision-making bodies including constitutional and non-constitutional entities within ITF structures.

About the You

A professional, with Maritime background, or have previous experience working with the Agreements team and trade union experience are desirable. Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel at intermediate level; broad experience in general administration and data inputting as well as knowledge of and experience working on database such as Microsoft CRM. High level communication skills, both verbally and in writing are key requirements, plus a proven ability to develop positive relationships with organisations and individuals across diverse cultures. Due to the nature of the organisation and the role, speaking a second language would be an advantage.

ABOUT THE JOB

Job Purpose 

We are looking for an exemplary people-oriented administrator to provide administrative support to the Gestalt Centre CEO and the workstreams she manages. An important role in the organisation, working with senior leadership and across teams, in a welcoming and supportive environment with opportunities to learn and grow on the job.

Areas of work and responsibility

• Administrative Support to the Gestalt Centre CEO
• Coordinate and support projects and workstreams the CEO leads on: Operations, Communications and Marketing, Short Courses and Post Graduate Qualifications, HR, Finance, Policies, Fundraising and Health & Safety.
• Liaise with the CEO and the leadership team to update the organisational plan and workstream plans, also keep track of relevant priority actions and progress.

Project Trust is an education charity with over fifty years’ experience in international volunteering for young people.  We organise challenging, long-term placements for 17–25-year-olds with partnership organisations in Africa, Asia and the Americas.

The Woodland Trust is looking for an Assistant Site Manager in the South East (Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire). The role forms part of the Southeast Region’s Operations team and involve working closely with the two Site Managers responsible for Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. Together, you will support the management of the Woodland Trust’s sites across these three counties. 

The Role: 
• To assist in the delivery of woodland management works by supporting the management of site-based contracts, supervising contractors, and working alongside volunteers

The role

We’re seeking a Finance Assistant to join our great Finance team 

You will be an essential member of a small but dedicated team providing day to day financial support to the organisation - keeping track of, and accurately recording, income received and expenditure incurred. Working closely with the Financial Accountant the key tasks include:

• Posting fundraising income and journals on the SUN Accounting system.
• Responsibility for the Purchase Ledger function, ensuring all expenditures are correctly recorded on the accounting system including the correct treatment of VAT.
• Maintaining the invoice system (Kefron), including user records, supplier records and all relevant account and analysis codes. Ensuring the coding structure is up-to-date and matches SUN Accounting system.
• Posting bank account entries into the accounting system and reconciliation with monthly bank statements.

About You 

• You have good numerical skills with previous experience in a similar finance support role
• You can demonstrate an ability to use Excel at an intermediate level
• We are looking for someone who is able to prioritise their workload when appropriate and has strong attention to detail when entering data.
