We’re looking for a highly motivated and passionate senior PR officer to play a leading role in the delivery of Girlguiding’s ambitious and integrated media strategy. Working within the busy press office, you’ll secure media opportunities to help girls’ voices be heard, drive brand awareness and promote Girlguiding’s award-winning youth offer and the life changing opportunities guiding provides.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience delivering creative, high impact national and regional PR campaigns to engage target audiences across a wide range of media. They will have an excellent news sense, extensive knowledge of UK media and the ability to identify and maximise PR opportunities. They will feel confident briefing Girlguiding’s young spokespeople as well as senior management, produce high-quality press materials and have a strong social media know-how. They will also have experience in line management and crisis and reputational risk management.
The post requires working outside of 9-5 office hours, such as evenings and occasionally weekends, to be part of the press on-call rota and to travel to other locations as necessary, for which time off in lieu and an allowance will be given.

About the Innovation and Project Officer role
Supporting innovation across the organisation, you will help to develop and deliver programmes that grow our membership, reach and influence. About you

You should have a methodical approach to project management, and be able to confidently engage and build relationships with stakeholders and different audiences. Familiarity in overseeing budgets would be beneficial, as would some knowledge of the trends affecting the voluntary sector, but above all a passion for supporting initiatives that contribute to organisational growth and change will be key to your success in the role.

Position Overview
The Development Manager role brings the opportunity to an avid fundraiser and resource mobilization professional to manage the strategic fundraising efforts of IFIP to build, sustain, and grow the organization’s institutional pool of funders by aligning development strategy with the organization’s mission, goals, key programs, and initiatives. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Development Manager works collaboratively with senior management, staff, and consultants to ensure sustainability goals are achieved. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fundraising and Resource mobilization
Develop a comprehensive multi-year development strategy, including developing related guidelines and policies and ensure IFIP secures annual revenue goals.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with funders and other donors, including foundations and other funders.
Responsible for the development, writing, and submission of compelling grant proposals. Manages full lifecycle of grants, from proposals to reports, ensuring fundraising goals are met annually.

Community Fundraising Manager
