Overall Purpose of the Role

Youth Action Alliance (YAA) exists to support the personal and social development of young people in Kensington and Chelsea and neighbouring boroughs, helping them build resilience, confidence, and skills for the present while shaping positive futures.

We are seeking an experienced, values-driven male youth worker to lead the Staying Connected & Boys Project. This is a key role combining strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, focused on engaging boys and young men aged 11–19 (up to 21, subject to funding) who may be facing multiple challenges.

The post holder will design, deliver, and grow a high-quality, trauma-informed programme that provides safe, trusted spaces through weekly group sessions, one-to-one mentoring, targeted interventions, education attainment, Advice, guidance, and signposting, Off‑site trips, enrichment activities, and holiday provision. The role supports young people to remain connected to education, training, positive relationships, and their wider community, while playing a central role in shaping YAA’s youth offer and driving meaningful, lasting change.

About CoppaFeel!

CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.

We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.

Breast cancer does not need to be detected late, and as long as we are here and continue to be supported by people like you, we will do all we can to make sure this doesn’t continue to happen.

The Role

CoppaFeel! is looking for a Senior Healthcare Engagement Manager to oversee the production of high-quality health information and resources and lead on CoppaFeel!’s healthcare engagement work.

The Senior Healthcare Engagement Manager will sit within the CoppaFeel! Education Department and will work closely with the Head of Services and Health Information & Services Manager.

The Senior Healthcare Engagement Manager will be responsible for leading our work in the health engagement space. They will play a key role in supporting the strategic direction of this work and provide insight and sector knowledge to support decision making within the leadership team. This will involve building strong relationships with clinicians and healthcare stakeholders, enhancing CoppaFeel!’s role in the healthcare sector. 

The Senior Healthcare Engagement Manager will have oversight of the production of our health information and resource portfolio. This role ensures that all health resources are accessible, impactful, and trusted, meeting the highest standards, including those required by the Patient Information Forum Tick Accreditation.

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office 2 days per week. You will also be required to attend the office for quarterly team meetings, department meetings and in person training, we will provide plenty of notice for when you are required to be in for these purposes.

Duties and Responsibilities

Health Engagement

• Work closely with the Head of Services to set the strategy for CoppaFeel!’s work in the healthcare space. 
• Provide vision and direction to support departmental growth in healthcare engagement, ensuring alignment with overall organisational goals.
• Drive the development of new and existing strategic initiatives to engage healthcare professionals, ensuring messaging remains relevant, builds credibility and reflects developments in breast cancer in the healthcare space.
• Work closely with the Senior Policy & Influencing Manager to strengthen links between influencing and the delivery of health engagement initiatives.
• Work closely with the Senior Programmes Manager to support the development of regional engagement work and the development relationships across Cancer Alliances.
• Work collaboratively internally and externally to understand the needs of different healthcare audiences and work with teams across the organisation to develop engagement initiatives that increase knowledge and confidence of breast cancer in younger people.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key clinicians and expert stakeholders to enhance CoppaFeel!’s presence within the healthcare space.
• Lead on the design and delivery of training for healthcare professionals encouraging the integration of CoppaFeel!’s resources into their practice.
• Lead and manage CoppaFeel!’s Medical Advisory Group, ensuring it evolves in line with organisational needs.

Health Information

• Work with the Head of Services to set strategic direction in relation to resources, health information content and the production process.
• Provide expert advice and guidance at both strategic and operational levels on best practice approaches to delivering high quality health information and resources, with a focus on optimising reach and impact.
• Hold responsibility for the continued accurate and consistent development of the charity's Health Information provision.
• Oversee the creation and dissemination of high-quality health information, ensuring it is accessible, accurate, and meets accreditation standards required by the Patient Information Forum.
• Provide direction to the Health Information and Services Manager in development and delivery of a portfolio of materials, resources and reminder services.

Strategy & Management

• Support initiatives to ensure that CoppaFeel! Staff are knowledgeable and up to date with issues around breast cancer in younger people.
• Design and deliver internal Health Information team training across the organisation.
• Line manage the Health Information & Services Manager and the Health & Services Executive, offering guidance, support, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
• Represent CoppaFeel! in media opportunities where appropriate to communicate key health messaging. 
• Work with the Impact & Evaluation manager to ensure robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks are in place to track the effectiveness and impact of our work.
• Collaborate with the Senior Engagement & Inclusion Manager to ensure that all health information and engagement strategies are inclusive, accessible, and representative of diverse communities.
• Manage departmental budgets ensuring efficient use of resources and supporting and informing phasing and re-forecasting. 
• Support the development and implementation of operational plans. Ensuring that projects are tightly managed and delivered on time and within budget .

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Essential

• Extensive experience leading the delivery of health engagement initiatives.
• Proven experience in the design and delivery of education and training for healthcare professionals.
• Awareness of clinical policy and practice changes influencing health care practice and delivery.
• Knowledge of Healthcare professional culture, NHS systems, primary care settings, and breast cancer services.
• Proven experience in developing and writing health information and applying health literacy best practices.
• Strong ability to understand medical information and how this can be translated into clear, accessible messaging.
• Experience managing health information production processes, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
• Experience managing multiple projects with the ability to oversee competing priorities and deadlines.

• Experience in line management, with a focus on team development.

Supporter Engagement Executive

JOB PURPOSE
The Supporter Engagement Executive will act as a central point of contact for all RLSS UK supporters across every fundraising income stream, ensuring they receive a warm, knowledgeable and professional experience whether they’re looking to find out more about RLSS UK, taking part in an activity, or choosing to donate.

You will play a key role in championing our supporters, helping us understand their needs and continuously improve their experience. By gathering feedback, spotting themes and sharing insights with the wider team, you’ll highlight opportunities and challenges that help shape how we engage with supporters in the future.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver excellent supporter care, including responding to email, post and telephone enquiries, issuing receipts, and carrying out donor follow‑up.
• Provide warm and consistent stewardship to donors, including personalised contact such as telephone calls, letters, handwritten cards and emails.
• Be the first point of contact for community groups, schools and clubs, offering guidance, support and fundraising materials.
• Support recruitment and stewardship of challenge event participants, ensuring they feel informed, motivated and appreciated.
• Support community fundraisers throughout their activity, providing resources, stewardship and encouragement. 
• Record and track community fundraising activity within the CRM.
• Support the development and delivery of supporter journeys, helping ensure communications and touchpoints are timely and engaging.
• Manage stock of supporter materials, including running vests, swim caps, donation buckets and collection tins, ensuring timely fulfilment of requests.
• Assist with the implementation of the new CRM system, including accurate data entry and supporting the wider team during the transition.
• Maintain CRM data to a high standard, including running reports, tagging, updating preferences and ensuring excellent data governance.
• Accurately record donations and supporter correspondence within the CRM system.
•  Provide administrative support to the Income Generation team, assisting with general tasks and contributing to the smooth running of fundraising activity.

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join the Borde Hill team to work on the Reinventing Borde Hill project. This role will be responsible for managing the Community Growing Garden at Sugworth Farm, part of our new 2-acre biodynamic market garden which produces seasonal fruit and vegetables to supply the new restaurant, café and farm shop at Borde Hill.

Funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the project includes an Activity Plan including a range of learning, community and volunteering activities, and this new role will have responsibility for overseeing community engagement both at the Community Growing Garden, and across the Parkland and main Garden.

Your role will focus on two key areas: overseeing the seasonal growing at the Community Growing Garden with volunteers and community partners, and developing and delivering an annual site-wide community engagement programme.

You will work closely with the NLHF Project Team, as well as the Green team. You will lead on liaising with local schools, community groups and charities, encouraging and facilitating participation in the Community Growing and wider site community programmes. Your passion for learning, community engagement, horticulture and nature will be key in ensuring this programme succeeds in delivering the ambitions set out in the Activity Plan.

Although funded via the Lottery project, this role is permanent as we are committed to continuing it after the funded project; we intend to continue the wide range of the activities that your role will nurture and develop.

• Build a seasonal programme of community engagement and growing in the Community Growing Garden and at the main site, building on and developing the programme set out in the Activity Plan

Our Senior Trusts & Foundations Manager is primarily responsible for managing and generating income from our Trusts & Foundations portfolio (including Corporate Foundations). They identify new prospects, write compelling and persuasive proposals to secure significant gifts, actively develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and provide brilliant stewardship.

We are looking for someone who has a sound understanding of T&F fundraising. You’ll have a strong track record of nurturing relationships, securing multi-year and five-figure+ gifts, and a genuine passion for youth development. You are a creative problem solver with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects – ensuring they run smoothly and effectively.

Bioregional Learning Centre (BLC) is a place-based systems-change organisation rooted in South Devon. We work with communities, institutions and landscapes to grow the capacities needed for a regenerative, climate resilient, bioregional future.

We are seeking a Bioregional Learning Manager to help design and run a new learning programme in bioregional practice and to coordinate the emerging Bioregional Learning Alliance – an international community of practitioner-educators.

This is a new kind of role. We’re not looking for a ‘finished article’ or a conventional academic. We’re looking for someone who is values-led, curious and organised, and who wants to co-create something pioneering alongside others.

The role

You will:

• Co-design and evolve a practice-led curriculum in bioregional learning and leadership (online and in-person).
• Plan and manage courses and events, including a South Devon learning pathway and international partner offers.
• Coordinate the BLA, supporting meetings, communication and light-touch governance.
• Build and steward relationships with practitioners, communities and partner institutions (including universities and learning centres).
• Support communications, evaluation and programme administration (budgets, contracts, logistics).

Essential skills & experience

Our General Manager will be a key member of Different Planet Arts small staff team. Working closely with the Artistic Director and the Board of Trustees as part of the Senior Management Team, you will manage and organise operational support for Different Planet arts programme, ensuring we provide an excellent service to our participants, partners and audiences. This role is suitable for someone building a career in operations.

We are looking for someone who can maintain and provide the right systems and structures to enable others to lead and create our arts projects, and provide ongoing, efficient admin support. Your work will involve maintaining and monitoring our existing HCT peer projects across London. This will involve providing support and supervision to existing staff, managing operational issues on a day-to-day basis and overseeing the management of separate projects. 

This post also involves regular liaison with external partners across the region, including key stakeholders such as Operational Delivery Network (ODN) managers for each area, alongside senior NHS colleagues, drug and alcohol services etc.

The General Manager will provide leadership and day-to-day operational management for the Natural Voice Network, ensuring smooth running of its activities and services. Working under the strategic direction of the Trustee Board, the General Manager will implement decisions, oversee the Administrator, and manage finances and communications at an operational level.

They will have delegated authority to make operational and financial decisions (within agreed limits) on behalf of the NVN and its Trustee Board, enabling trustees to focus on governance, strategy, and long-term development.

Key Responsibilities: 

Operational Management

- Manage the day-to-day running of the NVN, ensuring all activities are delivered efficiently and in line with the organisation’s values and policies.

- Maintain and store confidential documents and archives.

- Work closely with the Administrator to ensure smooth coordination of membership services, communications, and events.

- Support the development and implementation of the NVN’s strategic and annual plans.

- Represent the NVN in meetings and collaborations, acting as a central point of contact for members, partners, and external organisations.

- Assist with the organisation and delivery of NVN events, training, and gatherings (online and in person).

Financial Management

- Manage operational budgets and approve expenditure within agreed limits (e.g. up to £1,000 per transaction or as defined by the Trustee Board).

- Work alongside the Treasurer on financial planning, reporting, and compliance.

- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for trustee meetings.

Governance and Reporting

- Ensure systems are in place to support good governance, including accurate records, risk management, and compliance with relevant legislation.

- Prepare reports for the Trustee Board, highlighting progress, challenges, and key decisions.

- Keep policies and procedures up to date and support trustees in implementing policies and procedures, ensuring that staff and volunteers are informed and aligned.

- Oversee preparation of agendas, papers, and minutes for Trustee Board and working group meetings in collaboration with the chair and administrator.

- Manage trustee induction when new trustees are elected onto the Trustee Board.

Staff Supervision

- Line-manage the Administrator, setting clear priorities and providing regular supervision and support.

- Foster a positive, inclusive working culture consistent with the NVN’s ethos.

We are looking for a dynamic Programme Manager. The post-holder will play a key role in managing specific programme and partnership activities in partnership countries such as the Gambia, Kenya and Sierra Leone as well as project management, monitoring and reporting for our cross-partnerships strategic project on strengthening health systems through strengthened postgraduate medical education of health worker.

Support Community Fundraising Income generation 

• To encourage the development of new supporter relationships through proactive communication, to achieve income and provide excellent supporter care to ensure the relationship is ongoing, beyond one-off support for the charity.

• To support the community fundraising team through relationships with patient families, third party fundraisers, community groups, schools and education establishments and public bodies.

• To assist with creating and maintain strong regional corporate partnerships within the community fundraising team, with the support of the community fundraising manager and head of fundraising and development.

• To deliver time specific and sector specific email/postal campaigns, encouraging organisation and participation in fundraising events.

• To contribute to the strategic development of community fundraising.  Ambassador programme 

• To communicate with the family ambassador programme helping to grow the network of key supporters who will represent and be the face of the charity within their local community. 

• Support the community fundraising manager and regional fundraiser with the development of the ambassador programme including training and thanking opportunities.

Supporter experience 

• To champion consistent and excellent supporter care. 

• To record all communications accurately on the database, ensuring information is gathered and recorded in accordance with the requirements of the data protection act, GDPR and the charity’s data protection policy. 

• To respond to supporter enquiries in a timely manner and deal with complaints, escalating as appropriate.

• To deliver an excellent supporter journey and contribute to the central supporter journey for community fundraising with resources, materials and information. 

• Assist with the coordination of fundraising events and activities 

Cross team working 

• To work collaboratively with fundraising colleagues across the team to deliver wider fundraising income and charity objectives.For example, gifts in wills, regular giving, event participation, volunteering and communications.

Budgets 

• Work with the community fundraising team and head of fundraising and development, to build and manage a detailed fundraising budget, including income and expenditure. 

Best practice  

• Ensure all fundraising practice is in line with organisational guidelines and policies. 

• Encourage and champion compliance and best practice within the fundraising team. 

• Ensure own compliance with fundraising standards and requirements, keeping up to date with key policies and regulations, including the fundraising regulator, chartered institute of fundraising and the charity commission.
