Age UK Redbridge, Barking & Havering offers an activity centre to residents of Redbridge aged 55 or above, to use for exercise and craft among other classes, and to enjoy light refreshments and a daily, 2 course, freshly prepared lunch.

A part time cook is required, to provide lunches (main course and dessert) and work alongside a small team to include; two other part time cooks and approximately 12 volunteers.  The centre is overseen by an onsite manager who will look after the day to day running of the centre, and who line manages the cooks and volunteers.

The ability to work independently and with the help of a kitchen assistant volunteer is essential in order to prepare between 10 and 30 meals per day. We are looking for a qualified, experienced cook, with recent experience. You will need to have proof of relevant Food Hygiene training and an understanding of different dietary requirements, as well as allergy legislation and health and safety knowledge relevant to Kitchen work.

You would be expected to assist the manager in planning meals to keep within budgets and to assist with the preparation for special event occasion menus or other ad hoc catering that may be required.

The Sales and Insights Manager leads on the management and development of the CRM database and ticketing system (Tessitura). They are responsible for reporting and in-depth analysis of sales and data with the aim of better understanding our audience and delivering creative, data led, and results driven marketing campaigns.

The Marketing & Communications team is crucial to the success of the Almeida’s ambitious vision and the strategic priorities for the team include:

• Build and manage the brand of the Almeida Theatre across London, the UK and internationally.
• Take a strategic and data first approach to marketing and promoting the Almeida and its work in order to deliver income targets in excess of £3 million in ticket sales each year.
• Build and diversify the audience who experience our artistic programme and increase engagement levels among those currently least engaged in arts and culture.

Key Responsibilities:
CRM:

• Lead on management of Almeida’s central CRM database, Tessitura, and act as principal point of contact with Tessitura for all system maintenance, development, and upgrades.
• Work closely with the Marketing and Development teams to maximise the use of our CRM systems and ensure they are fit for purpose and align with the goals of the organisation.
• Ensure the CRM provides an effective sales funnel and is an efficient sales process.
• Work with the Box Office Manager to set up on-sales for new productions and events.
• Update the information and content in TNEW (online booking system), working Box Office Manager to ensure a smooth sales path.
• Work with the Development team to enhance our insight into current and prospective supporters. In particular, working to support Membership recruitment and retention, to encourage donations.
• Work with the Marketing Manager to produce audience segmentation strategies.
• Help troubleshoot queries or issues, related to Tessitura filtering those that cannot be resolved internally through to the Tessitura support.

• Be a key part of the Almeida’s GDPR team ensuring all our data collection and processing complies with all current and future data protection legislation.

Sales, Insights and Data:

• Compile and deliver sales reports and analysis to relevant departments across the organisation, including senior and executive leadership, tailoring reports to suit a range of requirements.
• Monitor ticket inventory and introduce strategies for managing ticket holds.
• Provide up-to-date data analysis and reporting on marketing activities to help improve the effectiveness of campaigns.
• Use sales data analysis to advise the Director of Marketing and Communications on ticket pricing strategies.
• Manage our digital audience survey (Survey Monkey) and Arts Council data collection platform (Illuminate), collating and reporting on the results and evaluation of campaigns and audiences.
• Help guide the Almeida’s audience development strategy through customer research and data analysis relating to existing and new audiences.
• Support other departments with data collection and analysis.

Other duties:

• Be jointly responsible for the accuracy of all marketing communications, maintaining the theatre brand at all times, and advocating for this across the organisation.
• Support the Marketing Manager with digital advertising.
• Help to develop and deliver marketing strategies to increase income from auxiliary sales such as merchandise and Almeida Café & Bar.

Working location: mostly remote work with some travel required. Based in the north/central area of the South West region you will deliver a face-to-face service to clients in their own home or safe meeting place across the Dorset, Avon, Somerset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire area  as well as providing support by Teams, phone, email or other means to suit the service user. As a Caseworker, you will provide trauma-informed care to individuals and families suffering from the sudden bereavement or life-altering injury of a loved one. Working mostly remotely, with some home visits to service users, you’ll offer vital emotional and practical support—including helping them access therapeutic resources, financial assistance, and guidance through the complexities of medical and legal processes. 

About Brake: Brake is a renowned and respected road safety charity with a 30-year history dedicated to supporting people affected by road crashes and advocating for safer streets. 

You'll join a closely knit team of fellow caseworkers, each using their individual experience and skills to provide person-centred support to victims. The Deputy Contract Manager is responsible for the operational management of our specialist customer focused support services across the service. The Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Prevention Team, sits within the wider Fundraising and Communications directorate and delivers the UK SAYS NO MORE campaign and Everyone's Business. 

Everyone's Business works with employers to deliver a domestic abuse and sexual violence response to their employees along with offering a range of tools and resources such as the Everyones Business Respond to Abuse Advice Line, a training package and an employee IDVA and ISVA service. The team have worked with approximately 250 employers ranging from large multi-national companies to statutory organisations and local authorities. 

Please note this is a hybrid role that can be based anywhere in the UK with the requirement to be at our Head Office in London 1 day a week (Thursday).

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

The role involves providing both emotional and practical support to survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence, and other forms of gender-based violence, including those at high risk. This includes completing DASH risk assessments and tailoring support to each survivor's individual needs. The postholder responds to referrals from employees with lived experience of abuse through the Everyone's Business IDSVA service and acts as the lead IDVA/ISVA for some contracted business partnerships. They work closely with businesses adopting IDVA/ISVA services and are responsible for maintaining and updating business development plans as required.

A key part of the role includes building relationships and raising awareness with partner organisations through meetings and training, and working collaboratively with criminal and civil justice agencies, health services, SARCs, police, courts, social care, and other voluntary sector organisations. The role includes conducting needs and risk assessments, developing individual safety and support plans, and acting as a single point of contact for survivors throughout their journey, whether or not they choose to report to police. It also includes multi-agency advocacy and attendance at MARACs, always maintaining a trauma-informed and survivor-focused approach.

The Role

Job Description

Your Role in Our Vision 

We’re looking for a proactive Finance Business Partner to deliver a high-quality, customer-focused finance partnering service. You’ll play a key role in supporting strategic and operational decision-making through expert financial insight, modelling, and analysis. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Act as a trusted partner to senior leaders supporting operating plans, strategic decisions, and identifying opportunities to maximise impact and value. 
• Develop complex financial models, forecasts, and long-term plans challenging assumptions and enhancing understanding of financial risk. 
• Design and deliver clear, insightful financial performance reports and commentary. 
• Provide financial training to non-financial managers, empowering confident and informed decision-making. 
• Build strong relationships across the organisation from budget holders to accounting operations with occasional national travel. 

What You’ll Need 

• Proven finance partnering experience in a complex or multi-division organisation. 
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate numbers into clear, actionable insight. 
• Advanced Excel and strong financial modelling capability. 
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage and influence non-financial stakeholders. 
• Strong relationship-building and customer-focused mindset. 
• A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or CIPFA) and degree-level education (or equivalent). 
• Bonus points for experience in the charity or not-for-profit sector and a track record of driving continuous improvement.
