We’re looking to recruit Housing Support Workers to join our Sutton Vulnerable Adults Service.The project supports clients living in self-contained accommodation across Sutton providing 130 bed spaces. We provide short term accommodation for up to 2 years; all clients will be supported to identify an appropriate move-on in that time and work within a multi-agency approach to assist the client with achieving this. Engagement with support in the community and move-on are key focuses for the service.

The post-holder, you will be working to maintain an environment of support for adults with complex needs and possess strong Housing Management skills. The successful candidate does not have to have direct experience in a similar environment.

In this role you will:

• Have an experienced team to support you
• Be offered a flexible working pattern, Monday to Friday
• Receive a comprehensive training programme and a full induction 
• Carry a caseload of clients for whom you will be their lead worker

About the role:

As a Project Worker at our Stacey Street service in Islington, you’ll support adults who have experienced homelessness or rough sleeping to rebuild stability and move towards independent living. This is a hands-on role in a busy hostel environment where no two days are the same.

You’ll work directly with residents who may be navigating challenges linked to mental health, substance use, trauma or contact with the criminal justice system. Through strengths-based support planning and clear risk management, you’ll help individuals identify goals, overcome barriers and take practical steps forward. From supporting someone to engage with treatment, to sustaining a tenancy or accessing training and employment, your work will focus on realistic, sustainable progress.

Day to day, you’ll build trusted relationships whilst maintaining professional boundaries. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate the right support at the right time, ensuring residents are prepared for successful move-on. You’ll keep accurate records, respond calmly in challenging situations and contribute to a psychologically informed environment where people feel respected and motivated to change.

This role is about creating momentum. Overview of Role:

Overall Purpose of the Role

Youth Action Alliance (YAA) is seeking an enthusiastic, committed, and values-driven Support Youth Worker to support the delivery of two key strands of our youth offer: the Girls Project and the Youth Advisory Board (YAB).

The Youth Advisory Board is a group of young people aged 11–19 who act as advisors to Youth Action Alliance. YAB members amplify youth voice across YAA’s work, contribute to decision-making, attend meetings and events, lead consultations, and develop skills in leadership, communication, and civic engagement.

You will ensure the smooth running of the refuge, including processing and admitting new referrals, ensuring rent and personal charges are paid, maintaining rooms and communal areas, overseeing general housekeeping, organising repairs, and responding to crisis situations. You will work with women to develop Support Plans that meet their immediate practical and emotional needs and support their recovery, linking them with specialist services where required.

You will work in a trauma‑informed way and ideally have experience supporting people with significant mental ill health and/or substance use needs.

About You

The ideal candidate will have in‑depth knowledge of multiple disadvantages and their impact on women, as well as experience providing emotional and practical support to those affected by homelessness, substance misuse, the criminal justice system and mental ill health.

You will have experience managing risk and following case management procedures to meet the needs of a diverse client group. You will be able to work with women to help them understand their needs, complete risk assessments, develop safety plans, and engage effectively with other agencies.

You will have working knowledge of legal remedies, housing and welfare benefits, and experience delivering workshops.

In addition to case management duties, you will be required to undertake housing management responsibilities, including health and safety tasks and supporting the upkeep of the accommodation. You will have excellent administrative and time‑management skills.

In your role as a Community Keyworker, you will be working with women involved in the Criminal Justice System; those on Probation in the Community and those women being released from Prison as part of their Post Sentence Supervision; providing some in-reach and ‘Through the Gate’ support. You will be working in a team of Community Keyworkers in your region. Each Keyworker will provide holistic one to one community support to women with a variety of needs.

About You:

To be successful as the Community Key Worker you will need the below experience and skills.

You will need to hold a UK driving licence with access to car that can be used for work purposes. A creative self-starter who will support the service and look for innovative solutions to support clients with complex needs. You are confident professional relationship builder with have good awareness of Safeguarding procedures. Strong Administration skills and understanding of compliant behaviours also, experience of supporting. With good knowledge of the criminal justice system and awareness of other support provisions within the Hampshire area.

Job Title: Positive Engagement Worker

Location:Service is located at the heart of Croydon, close to the East Croydon train station. Please be aware that this service does not have step free access.

Salary: £27,000

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Sunday 7.5 hours shifts between 08:00 - 20:30. You may also be required to work to work outside these hours including bank holidays as per service and resident requirements. We are a 24/7 staffed service.

About the Role

We're recruiting a Positive Engagement Worker to join the team in Croydon in a 27 bed residential property which specialises in forensic mental health, complex needs and dual diagnosis. The team offers psychologically informed housing and resettlement support that comes with additional help for individuals’ specific needs. Our forensic mental health step down services consist of four individual sites which cater for high and medium support for both, men and women. 

In this role, you will be at the centre of researching, sourcing, and providing various opportunities for our residents. This can include partnering with external employers for employment opportunities, liaising with colleges for courses and upskilling opportunities, or community based projects which residents can get involved in. The role is dynamic and you can put your own ideas forward to bring new ideas to the team to help support our residents have access to wider resources. You will work closely with the rest of the care and support teams to enhance the opportunities available to our residents. 

Some Key Responsibilities Include:

• Plan and deliver various activities which includes within the service and outside in the local community to help gain a sense of community and belonging. This can include days out to museums, community events and other areas of interest by our residents
• Plan in service events to bring residents together which could include group cooking sessions, games days, sporting events, and religious festivals.
• Keeping support plans up to date using our online portal
• Carrying out housing management support including welfare benefits support

About You

We're looking for someone who has a true passion to support those who face challenges with their forensic mental health, complex needs and dual diagnosis. You will be able to build rapport and trusting relations in a professional setting, and able to build positive outcomes. You will be creative in your approach to find new ways to bring people together to gain a sense of community and belonging through various events and activities both in house and externally. You will have an adaptable and flexible approach to helping others, with an understanding that each individual has different levels and types of support needs. 

You will have an understanding and ability to help others overcome their personal barriers, and will be motivated to want to make a difference to people's lives. This is a fulfilling role, and is the perfect fit for someone who has a real passion in helping others. You will have:

• Awareness of external opportunities which are available such as with education, employment and benefits
• Experience working with people with multiple and complex needs, ideally in mental health
• Ability to show empathy and compassion to our residents, and different challenges they face
