Location: Islington based in our Central Office. You will be required to work Mondays in the office, plus an additional day within a service, with home working possible through the rest of the week. About the Role
We're hiring an experienced payroll and pensions officer. You will join a small Payroll team, reporting to the Payroll and Pensions Manager. You will ensure efficient and accurate payroll operations, ensuring staff are paid correctly, on time. You will support in the preparation and processing of monthly payroll, coordinating effective and efficient end-to-end payroll and pensions administration, plus any relevant activity. The People and Culture team overall are a supportive and friendly team, who all have individual personalities and characteristics which bring us together to have a positive working environment as a team.

Reporting Directly to the CEO you will engage with teams and partners to design both an on-going influencing strategy and the future shape of this work in coming years.

Position Title: Senior Lead Gender Coalition

Location: Liberation centre Brixton, London (New office in Brixton)/ Remote working within the UK with at least 2 days’ work from our office (Pro rata for part time)

The Advocacy Academy is an activist youth movement. We serve as the political home for grassroots youth organising and the catalyst for collective action. The lives of the young people we work alongside have been directly shaped by living in an unjust world, and we exist to turn their anger into action.
Young people are often the catalysts for major social change, from the Student Non-violent Coordinating Committee at the heart of the Civil Rights Movement, to the Soweto Uprising mobilising young people to resist the apartheid regime's education policies, to the Sunrise Movement redrawing the electoral map across America, and more recently encampments and protests across the world protesting the genocide in Palestine. How successfully they achieve real and lasting change depends on whether they are organised and whether they have the right strategy and tactics to be effective.

That’s why we have launched two national coalitions, one around climate, and the other around gender. Experienced in grant management, you will be skilled in managing projects alongside supporting a portfolio of funded partners and managing grant application processes. You will also bring with you experience of using grant management systems.

This maternity cover post will have two key focus areas

The Huntington's Disease Association is a UK registered charity that supports people affected by Huntington's disease across England and Wales. We provide information, advice and support to families, friends, and healthcare professionals.
We are looking for three new team members to join our team of Specialist Huntington's Disease Advisers to support people affected by Huntington’s disease.
The roles available are:
• Bath, Somerset, Wiltshire, North & East Devon, Weston Supermare & Wiltshire Specialist Huntington’s Disease Adviser (part-time, 28 hours)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated person who is dedicated and committed to the welfare of families affected by Huntington’s disease, developing and improving the quality of care that they receive. You will need to have skills gained within a Health and Social Care profession. Your main responsibilities will be to offer help, information, advice, support and education to everyone affected by Huntington’s disease and professionals involved in supporting them.
All three vacancies are on a part-time permanent contract. Due to team-wide commitments, you must be available to work on Tuesdays. All other working days (in line with contracted hours) may be flexible around your individual needs and the needs of the role. Regular working pattern will be agreed with your line manager upon successful appointment.

We are seeking an experienced leader to drive forward the development and implementation of the events and mass participation fundraising strategy.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Regional Fundraising this is an exciting role leading our ambitious vision for this area of our team. Worth currently over £2m annually we are looking to grow our income from third party and owned products and events.
You will provide strategic leadership to the Mass Participation team (2 direct reports and accountability for a further 6) as well as playing an active leadership role across the Regional Fundraising Team and Mass Engagement department, contributing to the wider directorate goals and objectives.
You will be an innovative thinker with the ability to review our existing programme, the wider market environment and identify opportunities for supporter acquisition, engagement, and retention. You will oversee a customer-centric approach where supporters receive an outstanding experience and feel proud of their continued contribution.
Key responsibilities will include:

About You

You will work alongside the senior leadership team across both strategic and clinical operational levels ensuring lead responsibilities for our counselling teams and services. Working collaboratively with the senior leadership team, implementing clinical delivery decisions, ensuring the counselling service effectively maintains ethical and professional standards of practice and communication across key staff, other agencies and service users.
You will proactively contribute to building a robust and compelling evidence base that continues to demonstrate impact, improved wellbeing, and increased resilience, and have a key role in monitoring, evaluation, and supporting the wider counselling team with reporting and using data to drive operations, and evidence-based best practice.
Your role will also include overseeing referrals and allocation of clients; undertaking client assessments; providing role-management, and clinical support and supervision to trainee and sessional counsellors; line-management of key service personnel; some clinical support work with more complex or acute needs clients; recruiting, inducting and training key staff and volunteers; and liaising with the clinical supervision team.

The Trusts & Foundations Fundraiser will be joining Pepper at an exciting time as we launch our new three-year fundraising strategy. Backed by committed investment and with full Board approval, we are delighted to be growing the charity to deliver sustainable income that directly supports local children and families with hospice care in the comfort of their own homes.
Working closely with the Head of Trusts & Foundations, you will play a pivotal role in increasing income from trusts and foundations by developing and managing a strong pipeline of funders, securing new grants, and building long-term relationships that lead to increased and multi-year support. You will research and prepare compelling applications to both new and existing funders, alongside producing timely, engaging reports that clearly demonstrate impact.
