Fundraising Manager

Domestic abuse is always unacceptable. We support everyone affected by it and we act to prevent it. As the Fundraising Manager for Behind Closed Doors, you will play a key role in developing and delivering a fundraising strategy aligned with the organisation’s vision, mission and values. This is an exciting and varied role with an opportunity for the post-holder to put their own stamp on it. As our Fundraising Manager, you will build on existing relationships with individual donors, community groups and corporate partners, as well as seeking new opportunities.

This role would best suit a creative and strategic mind who enjoys building relationships and inspiring others towards a united vision: to build lives free from domestic abuse. You will be joining a committed and dynamic team; line managing the Training and Development Coordinator, working within the senior management team and reporting to the CEO.

The focus of this role is to provide administrative support to ensure back-office functions are efficient and timely. You will work across our fuel poverty and retrofit projects supporting project managers and key staff to ensure administrative tasks are completed to a high standard. The role will be varied, and some tasks will change over time as we secure further funded projects that require administrative support.

Pay and conditions.

• The role is a fixed term period of 12 months. We will consider applications for the role on a full or part-time basis, with a minimum of 22.5 hours per week.
• The salary for the role will be £28,124 per year full-time (37.5 hours per week), pro rata for part-time.
• You will be entitled to 25 days paid holiday (plus statutory holidays).

Specific responsibilities

An applicant appointed to the role will be expected to:

• To sort HES inbound post, ensuring items are passed to the correct team or staff member.
• To coordinate HES outbound post requests, collating and printing information to send to households.
• To speak to households by telephone and triage households to appropriate HES projects.
• To book home visits for advisors and retrofit assessors, keeping calendars up to date with appointments, cancellations, and amendments. Accurately completing the home visits risk assessment when required.
• To assist with householder applications for grants and other funding schemes. Contacting clients to complete forms or collate paperwork or electronic evidence.
• To record client details and follow HES team guidance documents to assess the help and support needed.
• To update our client databases and other contact management systems accurately.
• Support the internal and external training programmes, such as booking inductions for new starters, distributing training materials after training sessions and making sure evaluations are completed.
• Help provide HR support for HES staff, through processing annual leave requests or sending appraisal reminders.
• Oversee the smooth running of HES processes, such as the complaints procedure or keep track of subscription packages.
• Maintain stocks of leaflets, factsheets, freepost envelopes, and similar items, including organising printing where needed.
• Take minutes during team meetings and share any actions.

We are looking for a well-organised and caring professional with excellent administration skills to support our Healthcare Coordinator in overseeing the medication and healthcare needs of our male residents as they progress through their recovery from drug or alcohol abuse.

The role involves both administrative and practical tasks, as well as direct involvement in helping residents manage their own healthcare needs alongside supporting their wider recovery and spiritual growth.

You will maintain safe Medication Management within Yeldall Manor, ensuring that all medication including new supplies, is correctly administered, recorded accurately, and regularly audited, investigating and resolving any discrepancies. With the Healthcare Coordinator, you will assist the residents in accessing GP and specialist services, and ensuring that up to date electronic records are maintained of all healthcare matters for residents.

You will have excellent administrative and IT skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with medical professionals, along with a commitment to providing high-quality and compassionate care and support. Medical knowledge may be advantageous, but is not a necessity for this role.

The role

As a Community Fundraiser, you will be the face of St Richard’s Hospice in the community, you will help our wonderful fundraisers and inspiring new supporters to raise money for the charity, always ensuring they receive the best possible supporter experience. You will be part of the wider Income Generation team, contributing to our shared goals and income targets.

A key part of the role will be to deliver fundraising with strong financial impact: achieving a 3:1 return on investment within two years, ensuring activities are cost-efficient, effective, and sustainable.

Role Overview 

Support Through Sport CIO is seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to deliver our innovative School and Community Navigator programme throughout Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. The Senior School and Community Navigator will lead a team of three Navigators across four schools in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. The role combines direct support to children and young people aged 10–17 with leadership and coordination responsibilities, ensuring delivery is of the highest standard and in line with Support Through Sport policies and project specifications.

Working closely with schools, families, and local agencies, the Senior Navigator will provide supervision and guidance to staff, build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, and ensure effective safeguarding, monitoring, and reporting systems are in place. You will work with young people aged 10–17 in community settings, building trust-based relationships and providing early intervention to reduce risk factors linked to crime, violence, and exploitation.

The role combines youth work, mentoring, and community engagement, supporting young people to tackle challenges such as disengagement in education, substance use, poverty, discrimination, and school exclusion. You will act as an advocate for young people, bridging gaps with the wider community while promoting respect, empowerment, and positive life choices whilst working utilising a child-centred and collaborative approach.

At Support Through Sport, we use a range of creative approaches, including sport as a diversionary tool, to build brighter futures and create safer communities. Flexibility is essential, as sessions may take place during evenings and weekends, in addition to typical school hours. Roles and Responsibilities 

• Provide leadership, supervision, and day-to-day support to a team of School and Community Navigators, ensuring high-quality delivery across all schools and community settings.
• Support the training, professional development, and reflective practice of staff, encouraging continuous learning and consistency of approach.
• Deliver services to the highest standards, in line with specifications, funder requirements, and Support Through Sport policies and values.
• Lead delivery across four schools and identified community hubs, building and maintaining strong working relationships with senior leaders, pastoral staff, SEND teams, and wider support services.
• Develop and sustain effective multi-agency partnerships with schools, statutory services, and community organisations to ensure joined-up provision and pathways of support.
• Attend and contribute to regular meetings with schools, community stakeholders, and safeguarding partners, representing Support Through Sport professionally.
• Liaise with relevant agencies and take appropriate, timely action to safeguard children and young people, ensuring safeguarding remains at the heart of all practice.
• Ensure staff follow safeguarding policies and procedures, providing oversight, guidance, and follow-up where required, and escalating concerns appropriately.
• Support risk assessments, contextual safeguarding discussions, and contribute to case management at multi-agency meetings.
• Oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of mentoring and outreach support within both school and community settings, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to local needs.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Reporting to the Membership Manager, the Corporate Membership Officer – Commercial Relationships and Fulfilment will:

• Manage and grow relationships with corporate and university members.
• Drive new partnerships, membership sales, and sponsorship opportunities, with clear revenue targets, while maintaining strong long-term relationships with existing members.
• Identify and convert opportunities that enhance IWA’s profile and support membership growth.

This is a dynamic role for a confident, articulate account manager who thrives on building relationships. The successful candidate will combine strong customer service skills with proven B2B sales and account management experience, excellent time-management/organisation, cultural awareness and sensitivity when working across regions, and excellent communication abilities.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Account Management

• Act as the dedicated account manager for IWA’s portfolio of over 400 corporate and university members.
• Deliver expert advice, support, and engagement to maximise member value.
• Manage the end-to-end membership cycle (prospecting → onboarding → renewal), ensuring timely renewals and accurate CRM record-keeping.

Business Development

• Drive growth by identifying and securing new members, sponsors, and revenue opportunities.
• Own and report on a personal sales pipeline; meet or exceed agreed sales/retention targets.
• Upsell and cross-sell relevant services to both new and existing members.
• Promote IWA by developing a network of influential contacts within political, economic, social, and water sector communities.

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with internal stakeholders including membership engagement, marketing, and IT teams to deliver the corporate membership strategy.
• Manage member queries and administrative processes, including billing and invoicing coordination, in line with the company’s SLA guidelines.
• Ensure a seamless client journey from prospecting to onboarding and retention.
• Represent IWA at events (where required), both within the UK and internationally, to promote membership and build commercial relationships.

REQUIRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Skills & Knowledge
The ideal candidate will:

• Be a persuasive communicator with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

We are looking for a passionate and strategic Head of Developing Philanthropy to join the Environmental Funders Network (EFN) in this remote working role.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in growing environmental philanthropy across the UK and to help inspire funders to support causes that sustain a thriving planet.

The Role

Working closely with EFN’s Executive Director, you will lead on growing the amount of funding flowing to environmental causes from UK funders – including trusts, foundations, and high-net-worth individuals – by connecting and engaging with those not yet funding environmental causes at scale, and inspiring and supporting them to start giving or to give more.

You will form part of EFN’s Leadership Team, deputising for the Executive Director as needed, and will likely line manage a small team of 3–4 individuals.

You will:

• Revise and implement EFN’s Growing Environmental Philanthropy (GEP) strategy, working with the Executive Director, Board and GEP Advisory Group.
• Raise awareness of the need for environmental philanthropy through partnerships, events, communications and media opportunities.

About You

You’ll bring at least five years’ experience in fundraising or a related industry, with a proven track record of building and managing relationships with individual donors or high-net-worth clients. You’ll be a confident communicator and creative thinker with a strong commitment to environmental and social justice.

We are looking for an experienced trusts and foundations fundraiser to join our team. This role will be a key part of our fundraising team, managing a portfolio of trust and foundations with the capacity to give up to £25,000 and the opportunity to assist with major grant funding bids which will enable us to drive forward our ambitious goals.

You will deliver high quality written applications and reports in line with funder deadlines and keep in touch with donors and prospects via phone, virtually and in face-to-meetings and visits.
