Treasures Foundation provides housing and support for women recovering from addiction, trauma, and involvement with the criminal justice system. We help women rebuild their lives through safe housing, access to essential services, and programmes focused on rehabilitation and long-term recovery. Our mission is to empower women to thrive in their communities and build a brighter future.
We are now seeking a Full Time and/or Part Time Keyworker to join our expanding Treasures team.
Key Responsibilities
The Keyworker will report directly to the Specialist Support Manager and will play a critical role in maintaining the effective running of Treasures Foundation’s supported housing. The core responsibilities include:
Beneficiary support
· Undertaqking key working activities including: referrals, risk assessments, support
planning
· Support beneficiaries communicating with them about their day or any difficulties that arise for them
·Take a holistic approach to support beneficiary needs, seeking and highlighting opportunities for change at the individual’s and project level
· Fostering a holistic approach to supporting beneficiaries needs, seeking and
highlighting opportunities for change at the individual’s and project/ organisational
level
· Jointly developing and delivering a group programme which meets the needs of the women
and aims of the project, such as effective communication and conflict resolution
· Developing individual key work plans alongside the beneficiary and offering them
appropriate support to implement them
· Supporting the beneficiaries to access voluntary work, extra-curricular activities and
educational courses
Reporting and Compliance
· Verbal and written handover to other staff
· Use on call if needed in an emergency
· Ensure our monitoring system Lamplight is up to date

Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working in the charity sector. They will be proactive, solution-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities in a sometimes challenging environment.
Essential Skills and Experience:
· Flexible attitude with the ability to understand and implement policies and procedures, keeping the beneficiary at the heart of the work
· Demonstrable experience of lone working in a similar environment
· Excellent organisational and time-management skills
· Strong communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to other staff members
· IT literate

The Role
The Head of Partnerships and Fundraising is responsible for the majority of income generation for our charity. The Switch raises income from corporate volunteering partnerships and through grant applications to other trusts and charities, which together contribute circa £800,000 per year. This is a role that requires strategic thinking, relationship and negotiation skills, and the ability to meet income targets.
This role will manage and grow our current key corporate partners, ensuring sustainability and longevity in our partnerships. The person will be responsible for communicating effectively with corporate partners on a strategic level, to understand how we can improve our volunteering offer and communicate impact to their business.
The job-holder will seek new partnerships in diverse industries where we have fewer stakeholders, to ensure our young people work with companies and volunteers from wide-ranging sectors.
In this position you will scope fundraising opportunities from grant and trusts, and be adept at assessing our viability so that applications we submit have a higher rate of success than average.
As Head of Partnerships and Fundraising, you will create new income streams which The Switch has not considered before, for example legacy funding, individual giving, corporate match funding. This will improve our financial stability.
In addition to income generation, this role will lead the Partnerships team and manage two to three staff as follows :
1. Our Corporate Partnerships and Volunteer Manager - oversees all volunteer logistics, including maintaining volunteer records and distributing relevant briefing materials to ensure volunteers are well-prepared for their role. Some time dedicated to fundraising too.
2. Our Communication Coordinator – leads on our regular comms including our digital newsletter, social media pages, and bespoke comms for projects or funders.
3. Coordinator TBC.
Details
· The Head of Partnerships and Fundraising leads the Partnerships Team and reports to the CEO.
· Working hours are typically 9am – 5pm Monday – Thursday, and 9am – 4pm Fridays.
· Working from home (WFH) is typically 2 days a week, with Wednesdays mandatory in the office.
· Flexibility will be required to cover meetings or events outside of these hours and WFH days.

The Vacancy
The Independent Monitoring Service is seeking to recruit professionals with experience of working with children and vulnerable adults to the role of Independent Visitor in Wet Yorkshire & Humber, in particular Leeds, Bradford and Hull.
The role of Independent Visitors is to provide visiting services on behalf of NYAS which are consistent with the National Quality Standards for Children’s Homes, Residential Special School Standards, Welsh National Minimum Standards, Health and Social Care Standards Scotland and CQC regulations. The main duties are:
- To undertake monthly visits to identified homes in accordance with the requirements of the relevant NYAS manager.
These visits will be:
Regulation 44 visits to residential children’s homes, short breaks and secure units.
Regulation 25 visits to residential family centres.
Care Quality Commission visits to residential adult homes.
Care Inspectorate Wales regulation 8 visits to residential children’s homes.
RSS20 visits to residential special schools.
Health and social care standards Scotland residential children’s homes.
Monitoring visits to unregulated provision.
- To undertake all tasks as identified by the relevant NYAS manager, during the visits and thereafter, in order to fulfil all aspects of the role.
- To provide factual reports within set timescales as required by the relevant NYAS manager.
Candidates should have demonstrable knowledge and understanding of regulated services and their inspection frameworks and also knowledge of current legislation and statutory guidance relating to children, young people and adults at risk particularly those in residential care.
Candidates must have experience of working within a social or health care organisation, safeguarding and experience of managing complex relationships across a diverse field, e.g. OFSTED inspectors, social workers, residential care workers and registered managers, health care professionals.
Candidates should also possess a professional qualification in a related field, i.e. social work, residential care, health care professional, advocacy or youth work.
This is a self-employed position and you will be paid a sessional rate.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Communications and Events Coordinator lead the development and delivery of Khulisa’s communications strategy and key campaigns, designed to engage our supporters, stakeholders, and the wider UK public.
About Khulisa:
Khulisa, meaning 'nurture' in the Zulu language of South Africa, is an award-winning charity dedicated to providing therapeutic support to young people. We focus on reaching those who are most at risk – young people from deprived communities who are often marginalized, vulnerable to exclusion, and at heightened risk of becoming involved in crime.
Our approach centres on safe, exploratory methods that aim to understand behaviour and experiences often rooted in trauma, abuse, and neglect. We deliver intensive therapeutic programs within educational and community settings, empowering young people to confront the underlying causes of their emotional distress and work toward healing. To create lasting, sustainable change, we also work to establish trauma-informed environments around young people by equipping parents, caregivers, educators, and other professionals with the tools they need to offer effective, supportive care. Currently, our services are active in London and Manchester.
About the role:
This role will be a key part of helping to raise awareness of Khulisa’s mission and the issues we address, strengthening support for our programmes. The postholders will also take ownership of planning and delivering all Khulisa events, ensuring they are impactful and well-executed.
- Develop and deliver Khulisa’s Communications and Branding Strategy in line with the strategic plan.
- Lead public engagement campaigns to raise awareness, promote youth voice, and drive participation.
- Plan and manage events, including fundraising and challenge events, from concept to delivery.
- Create and manage digital content across social media, website, newsletters, and other channels.
- Recruit and supervise volunteers to support communications and event-related activities.

SEEAC is a non-profit organisation that provides community-based support, especially to migrants, refugees and others facing marginalisation.
This role provides vital welfare advice, casework, and safeguarding support, including for those affected by hate crimes.
We're looking for someone with 3+ years’ experience in community or non-profit work, strong knowledge of UK welfare systems, and fluency in English and at least one ESEA language.

- Promote and champion welfare within the community
- Provide confidential and objective casework advocacy for service users
- Safeguard the rights of survivors and witnesses of hate crimes, discrimination, and exploitation
- Administer SEEAC’s free mental health support services

Benefits
£29,120 - £30,576 per annum FTE (full-time equivalent) pro rata plus pension contribution. Flexible homework is offered in a hybrid setting, with in-person work based at the SEEAC office in East London. To create a better collaboration with other staff members, SEEAC, however, require all staff members to work in the office or on-site occasionally as required. Opportunities for skills development training are offered. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract, on a full-time or 4-days/week part-time (0.8 FTE) basis, for a September start. SEEAC’s full-time is 5 days per week (35hrs per week).
