Job description

About us

Myeloma UK is the only organisation in the UK dealing exclusively with the blood cancer myeloma and related conditions. We are committed to bringing together the best and brightest people to help us ensure that every patient has an empowered present and a hopeful future.

Our ultimate goal is to find a cure. We are dedicated to ensuring that patients get access to the right treatment at the right time, and to improving standards of treatment and care through research, education and awareness raising. We also provide a range of information and support services to patients, family, and friends to help deal with a diagnosis of myeloma.

About the role

This is an exciting newly created role, and it will be focusing on leading the development of a mid-level donor programme for Myeloma UK, with donations from £1,000 to £10,000. The successful candidate will be working closely across the team to grow income from this group through effective identification and stewardship, as well as moving people up the pipeline to high-level donors. The role will ensure our donors are informed, inspired, and appreciated, with the objective to drive repeat donations. This role has a flexible location, ideally based in Edinburgh or London, currently working from home.

About you

The successful candidate will have experience of developing and delivering fundraising events. You will have knowledge of project management and good understanding of data research. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential for this role, along with the ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
