St Benedict’s Centre Warden
Part Time – 21 hours (3 days) per week
Salary £24,000 (£40,000 FTE)
The St Benedict’s Centre is situated within the grounds of Malling Abbey, the home of an Anglican Benedictine religious community in the heart of the Kent countryside. It is a place of great beauty, a liminal space which draws deeply on its spiritual heritage and tradition to engage with the needs of contemporary society: education, training, counselling, holistic therapy, study days, quiet days, workshops and much more.
We are seeking a Centre Warden to provide overall leadership for the Centre, taking responsibility for setting culture and vision across the organization. The Centre Warden will develop strong and successful relationships with key external partners, deliver an imaginative programme for spiritual retreats and quiet days, and ensure that there are sufficient resources available for the Centre to flourish.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate experience and understanding of retreat and quiet day programming in a setting like St Benedict’s. You will be able to build relational capital with a range of stakeholders, and have excellent organisational and communications skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Individual Giving
Working closely with the Director of Development and Board, you will help secure Patrons and donor support that sustains and develops the theatre’s artistic ambitions.
This includes helping to shape and manage Production Syndicates and Giving Circles, researching and cultivating prospective donors, and confidently making funding approaches. The role involves close collaboration with artists and creative teams, connecting supporters directly with the work they are helping to bring to life.
You will build warm, lasting relationships with Patrons, providing excellent stewardship and supporter care, including assisting with ticket bookings and donor experiences. You will also represent the Development team at key theatre events, acting as an engaging and knowledgeable ambassador for the organisation.
Events
Working closely with the Director of Development and Board of Trustees, you will play an important role in delivering the theatre’s flagship annual fundraising gala — a celebrated and high-profile event at the heart of our fundraising programme – including:

Shaping and managing guest lists and invitations

Exploring sponsorship opportunities and auction activity, creating an exceptional experience for supporters while maximising income generation

Working closely with operational teams on catering, entertainment and venue management.
Alongside this, you will work with the Development team to create and deliver a year-round programme of stewardship and cultivation events — creating meaningful opportunities for audiences and supporters to connect more deeply with the Theatre’s work and artists.
Board and Development Committee
You will support the smooth running of the Development Committee through efficient administration, coordination and communication, while also building strong working relationships with Board Trustees.
Working closely with Trustees, you will help cultivate new supporter relationships through prospect introductions, events and donor engagement activity, playing an important role in strengthening the Theatre’s network of advocates and supporters.
General
As part of a collaborative and ambitious team, you will support the effective administration and financial management of Development activity, maintaining accurate income and expenditure records and contributing to regular income forecasting and reporting.
You will also help coordinate guest lists for Press Nights and other cultivation events, preparing briefing materials for senior staff and Board Members to ensure supporters and stakeholders receive a thoughtful, informed and personalised experience throughout their engagement with the Theatre.

The Communications Manager is a key role in the planning and delivering of high quality, integrated internal and external communications to increase awareness of and drive engagement with The Children’s Trust, as part of the Fundraising and Communications Directorate. Working alongside senior colleagues in marketing, media and digital, the role helps ensure our communications are well planned, effective, aligned and consistent, using insight and evaluation to demonstrate impact.
Consistency of Brand and Messaging, content and story gathering
- Build relationships with staff, volunteers and families, telling the stories of The Children’s Trust, to be delivered through a number of channels and who can, alongside celebrities, become ambassadors for the charity
- Drive consistent use of The Children’s Trust key messages across all communications channels
- Work alongside the Senior Marketing Manager to keep style guidelines updated and refreshed on a regular basis

- Support the Head of Marketing and Communications with issues and reputation management

Marketing and Communications Management
- Work with fellow managers in the team (currently Senior Media and Communications Manager, Senior Marketing Manager and Digital Manager) to lead the development and implementation of marketing and communications strategies to support the delivery of The Children’s Trust’s strategic objectives
- Conduct monitoring and evaluation to demonstrate the impact of the team’s work
- Provide strong project management for communications projects and campaigns, ensuring work is delivered efficiently, collaboratively and to a consistently high standard
- Develop strong relationships, internally and externally, and role model this to wider members of the department and directorate
Fundraising Communications / Income Generation Communications
- Work with fundraising and retail colleagues within the directorate to plan, execute and evaluate communications campaigns which supports income generation, in line with the fundraising objectives of the charity
- Support the Digital Manager with creation and distribution of marketing emails and creation of reports
- Business Development – working with the team to support campaigns which support the business development objectives of the charity, to promote support the department with its stakeholder engagement to professionals and parents.

Project Manager (Cascade Wellbeing Project)

We are seeking a Project Manager to deliver the Cascade Project – a partnership between the St Benedict’s Centre and the Diocese of Rochester. The project aims to develop a programme of initiatives and interventions to support frontline church leaders (lay and ordained, including Headteachers of church schools) with their wellbeing.
The project has been under development for the past year. The Project Manager will lead the project from development to implementation. Funding has been committed by the Church Commissioners for the first 4 years of the implementation period.
The Project Manager will provide overall leadership for the Cascade project, taking responsibility for setting culture and strategy and vision, developing strong and successful relationships with key external partners, delivering an imaginative programme (in person and online) to support the wellbeing of lay and ordained church leaders (including Headteachers of Church Schools) in the Diocese of Rochester and beyond, and ensuring that there are sufficient resources available for Cascade to flourish.
Candidates should have experience of leadership in a church setting with project management experience. You should have an understanding of wellbeing issues for frontline workers and knowledge of a variety of therapeutic processes and other interventions. You will have excellent organisational and communications skills.

CJO is one of the few small Black lead charities in London, enhancing the quality of life for African Caribbean Women and Families. Overall Job Purpose
The Chief Executive Officer will provide strategic leadership and operational management for the charity, working closely with the Board of Trustees to deliver our mission and ensure AFK's sustainability and growth. You will lead a team of around 30 staff and volunteers, managing an annual budget of approximately £2 million.
As the visible leader of the organisation, you'll inspire and motivate the team through your presence and engagement. You'll be responsible for building strong team relationships, providing hands-on support when required, and will demonstrate the charity's values in everything you do. Working Conditions

Working Relationships
The CEO will maintain close working relationships across all levels of the organisation and with external stakeholders. You'll work collaboratively with a Board of eight trustees to drive the charity's strategy forward, providing regular updates and ensuring effective governance.

Building and nurturing relationships with key funders, partners, and supporters will be essential to the role. To set up and manage our policy and public affairs activities in Scotland ensuring AdviceUK has a strong voice, so we can secure policy change to benefit organisations delivering advice and the communities they serve. The post holder will be responsible for establishing AdviceUK’s first policy and influencing strategy for Scotland, including through developing policy solutions informed by strong evidence and rooted in member experience, and leading effective political and stakeholder engagement which will influence change. KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Strategy
1.1 Develop AdviceUK’s first policy and influencing strategy for Scotland, through consultation with members and stakeholders and analysis of the landscape and opportunities in Scottish policy making.
1.2 Put plans in place to roll out a specific programme of proactive and reactive policy work to further AdviceUK’s strategic aims in Scotland and represent the voices of Scottish members.
1.3 Devise measures to monitor the impact of our policy and influencing work in Scotland and report back to staff, trustees, members and stakeholders about the difference we are making.
2.Policy development
2.1 Collaborate with AdviceUK members, partners, sector stakeholders and
beneficiaries to develop clear, concise and authoritative policy positions on key issues.
2.2 Produce high-quality, well-argued policy materials based on data and evidence, including reports, select committee responses, evidence statements, briefings and responses to Scottish Government consultations.
2.3 Provide policy input for media statements, press releases and social media posts relating to Scotland, which are managed by the Press Officer and Digital Marketing Officer.
2.4 Develop an expert knowledge of policy issues affecting Advice UK members, keep up to date on the political and legislative environment and identify opportunities to use these to further Advice UK’s strategic objectives.
2.5 Represent AdviceUK at policy and/or sector meetings and events.
3. Public affairs
3.1 Roll out a programme of public affairs work including Scottish parliamentary engagement to promote AdviceUK’s strategic priorities.
3.2 Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across the Scottish Government and parliament, local and decision makers, non-governmental bodies and other relevant stakeholders.
3.3 Champion an evidence based approach to all Advice UK’s advocacy and external relations work, drawing on research and member insight to inform our campaign messages.
3.4 Ensure regular opportunities for Advice UK members in Scotland to feed into our public affairs and advocacy work, and regular communications on our impact, to demonstrate how we amplify their voice.

4.1 Work with Policy, Programme and Media (PPM) colleagues as well as the wider AdviceUK team to develop the evidence base needed to inform our policy and campaigns work in Scotland.
4.2 Work with the Research and Policy Analyst to carry out analysis that identifies emerging trends in the Scottish advice world and use this to provide evidence-based policy briefings and specific policy solutions.

Summary of the Role
The Director of Development (DoD) provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all fundraising income and supporter engagement activity at DSWF. The role is accountable for delivering sustainable, diversified revenue growth aligned with DSWF’s mission across conservation, education and art, while building lasting relationships with major donors, trusts, foundations, corporate partners and senior supporters.

Strategic Leadership
•Lead on the development, implementation, delivery and continuous refinement of DSWF’s multi-year Development strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and long-term financial sustainability.

About the Role:
The Director’s primary function is to provide strategic, operational and professional leadership across Family Action’s services on the Isle of Man (children’s residential homes, secure accommodation, short-stay homes, wraparound and edge of care services, semi independent accommodation, aftercare services, family support and Family Time) - ensuring consistently high-quality, safe, trauma informed practice and provision that meets statutory requirements and best practice standards.
The Director will be the organisational lead for quality assurance, performance and safeguarding, responsible for designing, implementing and assuring robust governance, oversight, and continuous improvement frameworks. They will collaborate closely with Manx Care, Commissioners, partners, multi agency safeguarding arrangements, and internal teams to deliver exceptional outcomes for looked after children, care leavers and families - modelling the organisation’s values; people focus, can do, excellence and mutual respect.
Main Responsibilities:
• Provide executive leadership for Residential, Wraparound, Edge of Care, Leaving and Aftercare services, Family Support and Family Time on the Isle of Man ensuring alignment with organisational strategy and contract specifications.
• Develop high-quality, trauma informed, therapeutic approaches across all services, ensuring models reflect emerging research, innovation, and best practice.
• Serve as the strategic lead for safeguarding, ensuring compliance with organisational safeguarding procedures and statutory requirements.
• Establish, monitor and report on Quality Assurance frameworks, including audits, inspections, risk management, incident reporting, and service performance.
• Ensure all residential services, including secure accommodation, operate in accordance with the Children and Young Persons Act and relevant inspection and regulatory frameworks.
• Advise senior leaders and governors/trustees on matters relating to Residential, Wraparound, Edge of Care, Leaving and Aftercare, Family Support and Family Time provision on the Isle of Man and quality assurance, performance and safeguarding across Family Action.
• Direct line management of two Deputy Directors and overseeing budgets to ensure efficient, cost-effective service delivery. Championing the sharing of learning, the development of staff and volunteers and best practice across services to support continuous improvement and innovation.
• Strategic and accountable leadership, leading the Directorate by motivating and galvanizing the team to achieve the highest quality services maximising outcomes for the children and families we support.
• Be part of the Executive Group of Directors and the Chief Executive, influencing organisational development and decision-making, resource allocation and future strategy.

• Passionate about social justice, improving life chances and supporting children, young people and adults on the Isle of Man.
• Passionate about leading quality, performance and safeguarding across an entire organisation, and being part of a high-performing executive team leading an exciting and fast-paced charity.
• Extensive senior leadership experience in children’s social care with significant leadership experience in regulated environments.
• Proven responsibility for safeguarding, statutory compliance, quality assurance and regulatory engagement. And who has
• Proven experience working with vulnerable children, young people, and complex families, including trauma-informed practice.
• Highly robust, able to prioritise multiple workflows and issues and a fantastic and inclusive leader that can inspire their Directorate, peers and other senior leaders across Family Action.
• Present on the Isle of Man for a minimum of three days/30 hours a week and to attend Executive Group meetings in London once a month.

Job Title: Commercial Partnership Manager
Location(s): Home-based with attendance at AdviceUK office in London and at meetings as required.

Status: Fixed term for two years (potential to become permanent)
Reporting to: Head of Membership and Services
Responsible for: n/a
Pay range: £42,000 to £47,000 full time equivalent. £33,600 to £37,600 actual salary, dependant on experience.
Working hours: 28 hours per week within normal operating hours (35 hours full time equivalent). Normal operating hours are 8.00am - 6.30pm, Monday – Friday. Lunch and other breaks are unpaid.
Special conditions: Some evening and weekend work may be required for which time off in lieu (TOIL) will be granted. Some travel will be required which may entail some overnight stays.

JOB PURPOSE
The postholder is responsible for securing, managing, and growing commercial partnerships with organisations that support AdviceUK’s mission, values and strategic priorities. These partnerships should significantly increase AdviceUK’s commercial income, extend AdviceUK’s reach, and achieve measurable social impact. The postholder will ensure that commercial partnerships both comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements and contribute positively to AdviceUK’s reputation and influence.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Partnership development

Identify, research, and secure new commercial and corporate partnership opportunities aligned with AdviceUK’s strategic and income generation priorities.
- Develop compelling partnership propositions, including sponsorships, strategic alliances, product/service developments, cause‑related marketing, corporate social responsibility, and other commercial collaborations.

Identify and develop new products and services that benefit members, grow income, and support member recruitment and retention.
-
Shape new products and services with user and sector insight, applying structured approaches to testing, evaluation and scaling. Ensure that pricing, return on investment and other financial modelling is completed to demonstrate how new products or services deliver agreed objectives.

Bring external market insight into AdviceUK’s strategic planning and decision making, ensuring that commercial partnership propositions are clearly differentiated in the markets they are targeting.

Work with the Head of Membership and Services, other colleagues at AdviceUK, and AdviceUK’s existing commercial partners to develop a commercial partnership strategy, business plan and pipeline.

Lead negotiations and contract discussions in partnership with the Head of Membership and Services, Finance and where relevant, AdviceUK commercial partners and subsidiaries.

Ensure all partnerships align with the charity’s mission, values and ethical standards.

Carry out appropriate due diligence and risk assessments on commercial partners
2. Partnership management and growth

Act as the primary relationship manager for AdviceUK’s current commercial partners and subsidiaries to ensure they feel valued, informed, and engaged throughout the partnership lifecycle.

Maximise the value of established partnerships through renewals, extensions, upselling opportunities, and agreed new income generation activity. Support cross‑team collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Identify opportunities for innovation and growth within AdviceUK’s commercial partnerships portfolio.

Support the communication of impact to partners, including reporting on outcomes enabled by their support.

Represent AdviceUK at events, conferences and networks relevant to the commercial partnerships portfolio.
3. Income generation and performance

Ensure all partnerships deliver against agreed financial and non‑financial objectives. Contribute to departmental budgeting and forecasting.

Monitor partnership performance and provide accurate reporting on partnership income, engagement, and impact.

Contribute to the ongoing review of existing commercial partnerships and service level agreements, making recommendations for change as required.

Share learning, insight, and good practice to continually improve commercial partnership approaches.

Ensure compliance with Charity Commission and Companies House guidance, relevant fundraising regulations, and internal governance policies.

Work closely with AdviceUK colleagues to deliver integrated partnership activities.
4. Data and evidence

Support the delivery of performance reports as required to evidence the extent to which commercial partnerships are achieving required KPIs.

Work with colleagues to ensure that partnership datasets are accurate, timely and support decision making.

Ensure any partnership activity that requires data sharing adheres to data protection and cybersecurity requirements.
5. General responsibilities
- Ensure you effectively communicate AdviceUK’s vision, mission and objectives to staff, members and external stakeholders.
- Ensure you demonstrate AdviceUK’s values and behaviours in all aspects of your work.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders including staff, trustees, members, partners and suppliers.
- With support from your manager, deliver your agreed personal objectives and undertake any agreed development or training.
- Maintain a strong understanding of our members and the advice sector more generally, by reading internal reports; accessing relevant data reports; following our social media channels; and, where possible, attending member and other relevant events. With the agreement of your line manager, ensure you make time to speak to members and visit their services.

Sheffield Community Bike Project is a not-for-profit community cycle repair workshop that aims to improve access to cycling through three main activities:

Free (donations appreciated) access to tools and workshop space for DIY cycle repairs, with support from our volunteer team. This includes some sessions for specific groups.

Offering affordable new and used parts, and refurbished second-hand bikes for sale.

Focussed cycle maintenance training sessions to upskill our community.
The CEO will lead Sheffield Community Bike Project to successfully carry out its charitable aims, working closely with the Board of Trustees, Bike Project Manager and volunteers. This will include providing strategic leadership, building the organisation's long-term sustainability, securing the funding that enables our work, and supervision of any other paid staff. SCBP is at a key moment of growth. Having taken on workshop premises in September 2024, we are now working to increase the number of sessions that we run, streamline our volunteer and participant experience, and expand the breadth of provision that we offer. This is a genuine opportunity to shape what SCBP becomes as an established institution - not just to maintain what exists. At the same time, as a grassroots charity, central to our ethos is nurturing a sense of community ownership and collaboration. We aim to make the project a friendly, welcoming place to volunteer for people of all backgrounds and experiences. Another key part of our culture is our “hands-on-tools” approach: participants are encouraged to “learn-by-doing” cycle maintenance themselves with help from our volunteers.
It is important that the CEO embodies our shared ethos of promoting and supporting access to participation in cycling, for the benefit of the Sheffield community and the protection of the environment. The CEO should also uphold SCBP’s values of shared responsibility and consensus building.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic leadership and organisational development - setting and driving long and short term strategy in partnership with the Board of Trustees, and building SCBP's capacity as an established institution.
Financial sustainability and fundraising - securing the income that enables SCBP's work, including grant applications, donor engagement, and earned income development. Overseeing financial strategy and ensuring the organisation lives within its means.
Line management of the Bike Project Manager and any other paid staff - providing regular supervision, support and accountability, and ensuring operational delivery is on track.
External representation and partnerships - acting as a public-facing spokesperson for the charity, building relationships with funders, partners, statutory bodies and the wider community. Enabling others to take this role where beneficial.
Internal leadership and culture - nurturing a positive, inclusive organisational culture across staff, volunteers and trustees, consistent with SCBP's values.
Governance and compliance - working with trustees to meet SCBP's legal obligations as a charity, retailer, premises leaseholder and public-facing organisation. Overseeing development and periodic reviews of charity policies. Carrying out incident review processes where appropriate.
Any other reasonable duties that come up to ensure the smooth running of the project - including responding to emergencies.
