We are currently recruiting a Programmes Facilitator to work within HMP Channings Wood. Our ideal candidate will have the skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring that they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs.
We are seeking a committed and dynamic person to support the delivery of substance misuse interventions within a custodial setting. In this role, you will work directly with individuals in prison who are affected by drug and alcohol use, helping them to understand their behaviours, build motivation for change, and engage in structured recovery‑focused programmes.
You will facilitate group sessions, complete assessments, and provide 1:1 support that promotes harm reduction, stabilisation, and long‑term recovery. Working closely with prison staff, healthcare teams, and partner agencies, you will ensure that every individual receives safe, effective, and person‑centred support.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about empowering people to overcome substance misuse challenges, able to build rapport in a fast‑paced environment, and motivated to help improve outcomes and reduce re‑offending.

You’ll be a senior leader in the Income Generation team, working closely with the Director of Income to help lead a nine-strong team and shape how the function develops. You will provide day-to-day management support, help bring structure and consistency to ways of working, and play a key role in building a collaborative, supportive culture across the team.
Alongside management and strategy duties, you will lead on Major Donors fundraising, building strong and lasting relationships with major donors while confidently leading on stewardship. You’ll help to secure sustainable income in a wholly donation-funded model, while raising awareness of childhood bereavement.

About the role
The Charity Director will provide strategic and operational leadership for Kingston Hospital Charity. Reporting to the Board, the postholder will lead the charity’s growth, profile and impact, ensuring charitable income is maximised to enhance patient care, staff wellbeing and innovation beyond core NHS funding. There is a real focus on securing major gifts to successfully deliver trust strategic priorities and other funding opportunities as well as expanding the charities’ reach and impact.

About the role
This role sits within Shelter’s in-house Direct Dialogue team, which operates face-to-face and door-to-door fundraising teams across London, Manchester and Scotland. As Door-to-Door Regional Manager, you’ll help drive the ongoing growth and performance of the London region while ensuring high standards in fundraising practice, compliance and people management.
You’ll be responsible for recruiting, training and developing fundraising staff, managing regional performance against financial and non-financial targets, and ensuring strong reporting, planning and risk management.
You’ll also work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to secure quality sites, maintain effective operations and support long-term regional success.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated manager who enjoys leading from the front, building capable teams and using insight, coaching and operational discipline to deliver results. You’ll have the chance to shape regional performance, support individual development and contribute to a fundraising programme that brings in most of Shelter’s new regular giving supporters.
About you
You’ll bring experience of managing Direct Dialogue teams, along with a proven ability to deliver against income targets and lead people effectively. You’ll be confident setting standards, improving performance and creating an environment where individuals can develop and succeed.
You’ll also be a persuasive and collaborative communicator who can build strong relationships with colleagues, agencies and external partners. With a proactive mindset and a genuine commitment to excellent supporter care, you’ll be comfortable challenging the status quo, making sound decisions and balancing operational detail with wider strategic goals.

The in-house Direct Dialogue team was established in 2004 and currently operates face-to-face and door-to-door teams across London, Manchester and Scotland. The team focuses on delivering high-quality new supporters, and direct dialogue fundraising generates around 85% of Shelter’s new regular giving supporters.

You’ll lead our Advice Centre, ensuring students receive high quality advice, representation and advocacy when they need it most. But this role is about much more than managing casework.
We're looking for someone who can think beyond traditional advice services, using insight, evidence and student experiences to influence change across the University and improve outcomes for students. You'll play a key role in identifying emerging issues, championing student interests and ensuring student voices help shape policy, practice and decision making.
Working closely with colleagues across Membership Services, you'll build strong partnerships with our Student Voice team to drive advocacy work and support elected officers and student representatives. You'll also work alongside our Opportunities team to help create a culture of support, belonging and early intervention across all student-facing services.
This role would suit someone who enjoys leading people, developing services and working collaboratively to solve problems. We're looking for someone who is willing to challenge existing ways of working, embrace innovation and help us develop an Advice Centre that is responsive, inclusive and genuinely student-led.
