About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in advancing one of the world's leading centres for research and teaching on global societies, cultures and international affairs. Through philanthropy, you will help enable research that informs policy, broadens understanding across cultures, and addresses some of the most pressing challenges facing communities around the world.
This role offers the opportunity to support some of OSGA's key academic priorities, including African Studies, Asian Studies and Latin American Studies, helping to secure philanthropic support for research and teaching that deepen understanding of diverse societies and cultures around the world.
Success in this role will come from your ability to build trusted relationships, develop compelling cases for support, and inspire philanthropic partnerships that advance both the priorities of OSGA and the wider ambitions of the Oxford Excellence campaign.
About You
- Proven success in securing major philanthropic gifts (high six-figure gifts) and managing relationships with high-value donors, trusts and foundations and stakeholders.
- Experience of delivering results within a target-driven environment.
- Ability to develop and implement major gift fundraising strategies.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Strong interest in global issues and the ability to discuss them with confidence and credibility.

The role:
In this role, you’ll lead the development of individual giving and legacy income — attracting new supporters, deepening relationships, building strong pipelines and creating journeys that grow long-term value and loyalty.
Using data, insight and creativity, you’ll shape and deliver campaigns, strengthen regular giving and build awareness of legacy giving in ways that feel personal, relevant and impactful - driving the income that ensures more children and families can access the care they need.
What you’ll do
Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement a growth strategy for Regular Giving, including acquisition, retention, upgrade pathways, and mid-level donor development.
- Lead on the development and effective delivery of legacy messaging across channels, ensuring consistent and inspiring communication that builds awareness and drives pledges.
- Support strategic planning for Trusts & Grants, In Memory Giving, and Legacy awareness, ensuring alignment with overall fundraising goals.
Campaign & Product Delivery
- Lead the creation and delivery of Regular Giving and mid-level donor products, campaigns, and donor journeys.
- Develop and promote legacy giving initiatives, including Make a Will Month, seasonal appeals, and messaging that builds a pipeline of legacy pledges and gifts.
- Work with external suppliers (e.g. creative agencies, mailing houses) and internal teams to deliver high-quality assets and campaigns.
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with Marketing, Supporter Engagement, Commercial Insights and Finance teams to ensure integrated delivery and maximise supporter value and retention.
- Support fundraising events and initiatives as needed.
- Respond to supporter enquiries via mail, email, and phone, providing excellent customer service.
- Work positively and proactively with our volunteer supporters.
- Manage relationships with external consultants for Trusts & Grants and Legacy fundraising, oversee canvassing agents and ensuring all activity aligns with the hospice’s fundraising strategy and values.

Supporter Acquisition Executive
We are looking for a confident and driven marketer who is eager to join a hard-working and ambitious Individual Giving team. As the fastest growing medical research charity in the UK, we're proud that the Individual Giving team is continuing to produce highly successful campaigns, driving income, and acquiring the most engaged new supporters.
Working with teams across the charity, you'll be supporting the Senior Officer and Officer to plan and deliver direct marketing campaigns across a range of channels, including digital and print. You'll also work with external agencies to support campaign delivery. Activity within the acquisition portfolio is varied, from helping to develop online supporter journeys and prize-led campaigns to supporting training and campaign communications. Your work will help drive income and attract new, engaged supporters to the charity. This is an entry-level role suited to someone organised, detail-focused and keen to develop a career in fundraising, marketing, or supporter communications.
On a day-to-day basis, the post holder will support campaign activity, compile regular reports across a range of financial and non-financial KPIs, and help ensure compliance with the latest regulations and codes of practice.
The successful candidate will help the team deliver well-organised, accurate and timely direct marketing activity. They will keep campaign administration on track, maintain reliable records, communicate clearly with colleagues and suppliers, and show enthusiasm for learning about supporter engagement and fundraising.

Key Responsibilities:
· Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of successful campaigns across a range of channels, including digital and print.
· Assist with preparing campaign briefs, schedules, fundraising scripts, and other marketing materials.
· Help maintain accurate supporter data, ensuring records are updated carefully and in line with data protection requirements.
· Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to help ensure campaign activity is delivered on time and to agreed standards.
· Process invoices, purchase orders, and other routine financial administration linked to campaign activity.
· Help ensure all campaign activity complies with relevant regulations and codes of practice.
· Work closely with Data and Digital teams to ensure effective processes are worked to and full campaign evaluation is possible.
· Assist with reporting by gathering campaign results, updating trackers, and maintaining accurate records.
· Proofread campaign materials and help ensure communications are accurate, consistent and supporter focused.
· Conduct monthly competitor analysis, support weekly call listening, monitor social media comments relating to campaigns, and share team updates on the intranet.

The Veterans' Foundation is entering its second decade with a clear ambition to build a more sustainable, diversified and data-led fundraising model. Following ten years of rapid growth driven primarily through lottery acquisition, the organisation is now evolving its approach to strengthen supporter engagement, improve retention and maximise fundraising performance across a wider range of income streams.

Our Challenge Events team has seen a massive increase in fundraiser numbers this year. We’re hiring to unlock the full potential of this incredible community. Reporting into the Challenge Events Manager, you’ll boost our ability to grow our portfolio of events and connect personally with the incredible people who support CALM on a day to day basis.
The reasons people fundraise for CALM can be deeply personal. They might have lost someone to suicide, used our helpline for themselves or someone they know, or they might want to support a lifesaving service. By understanding what drives them, you’ll shape and deliver event experiences that feel meaningful and memorable, strengthen their connection to CALM, and inspire them to keep coming back for more.
Responsibilities

Support on delivery of the Challenge Events portfolio, ensuring Challenge Event Fundraisers are staying on track - such as completing registration forms on time, and setting up fundraising pages

Provide end-to-end operational support for fundraising events, including liaising with venues, partners and suppliers, obtaining quotes, coordinating travel and logistics, working with production teams, preparing materials, producing risk assessments, and creation of event documentation such as briefs, schedules and post-event evaluations

Represent CALM at Events, including acting as an Event Day Lead, and attending wider CALM events

Work with the Challenge Events Manager and Event Fundraising Lead to develop our portfolio of events, contributing ideas, analysing performance, identifying opportunities and putting ideas into action

Steward CALM’s Challenge Event Fundraisers effectively throughout their journey when supporting CALM, to ensure they feel appreciated and inspired to fundraise for us

Be the friendly voice of CALM, responding to enquiries through the website or phone in a timely manner

Proactively craft and send personalised emails to fundraisers to drive retention and satisfaction

Help with the management and optimisation of Event email automated journeys used to steward participants in the lead up to and after their event

Help to devise and manage our event marketing strategy

Deliver stewardship calls to Event Fundraisers - welcoming them to the team after sign up, wishing them good luck before their event, or offering them fundraising guidance and support

Work confidently across key income platforms to ensure accurate setup, coding and reporting of fundraising pages, campaigns and donations, including JustGiving and Enthuse.

Support on the maintenance of relevant pages on the CALM website

Analyse feedback from fundraisers via our post event surveys and identify areas for improvement

Engage with Fundraisers on our CALM Facebook groups - sparking conversation and fostering a supportive community atmosphere

Recruit and manage volunteers to support at events

Work with the wider organisation to improve processes and data management

Support in other areas of Public Fundraising as required, including community fundraising and individual giving.

Competencies
Essential

A strong understanding of challenge event fundraising and event delivery

Able to take initiative, manage a varied work load with great organisational skills

Passion for fundraising and understanding of the importance of providing excellent supporter care by telephone, SMS, and email

Confident making telephone calls, with a friendly and empathetic telephone manner

A creative mind and ability to problem-solve

Experience
Essential

Experience in event delivery (preferably from within the third sector)

Experience in a fundraising role

Experience in a customer or supporter facing role, interacting with customers/supporters on a day to day basis

Experience working with a CRM database (preferably Salesforce)

We are seeking an Assistant Philanthropy & Partnerships Officer to join our cause.
This newly created position is part of the Trust’s investment in fundraising capacity as we strive to raise the income required to fund nature’s recovery and create a wilder Hampshire and Isle of Wight. The postholder will be joining a friendly, vibrant and high-performing team.
What you’ll be doing:
Your role will be to provide support across all aspects of the team’s work, with a particular focus on major donors, legacies, in memory giving, corporate and community fundraising. Reporting to the Senior Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager and working closely with colleagues, you will help to develop and grow income from legacies, major donors and corporates, as well as coordinating our in-memory giving and ensuring community fundraising supporters have the tools and information required to raise funds for the Trust.
You will be expected to undertake tasks including event organisation, admin and data support, stewardship of existing supporters and prospect research.
About you:
You’re a confident communicator and an enthusiastic team player with excellent people skills. You’re capable of producing high-quality work as part of a busy team and helping us to grow our income. You may be an experienced administrator and/or somebody who is keen to further develop a career in fundraising.
