Purpose of Post
The Fundraising Partnerships Manager will be responsible for securing and account managing national corporate partnerships, and national trusts and foundations to help air ambulance charities save even more lives across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
Account Management
- To provide exceptional account management to ensure partners meet agreed income and engagement targets and other key objectives.

- Generate income from national partners - including employee fundraising, sponsorship, and cause related marketing.

- To attend partnership meetings, communicate and deliver presentations to staff at all levels.
- Manage and organise the production of compelling materials for bespoke campaigns and ensure AAUK’s campaigns are integrated into national partnership plans with a particular focus on Air Ambulance Week.
Development Activities
- Support national pipeline research and development for partnerships and grants.
- Through strategic research, identify and prioritise potential national trust and foundations (in collaboration with air ambulance charity members), with the ability to give significant grants through partnership working.
- Creation and development of national fundraising proposals and stewardship reports, applying a creative approach where possible.
- Create engaging assets for applications and compelling pitches, delivering pitch presentations virtually and in person.
- Lead on research and applications for agreed national prospects, building long-term relationships with key contacts at prospective partners.
- Work with air ambulance charity members to identify projects and opportunities for national funding from trusts and foundations.

Job Purpose:
The Fundraising and Administration Officer role primarily focuses on providing excellent supporter care and administrative support within the fundraising department. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining supporter relations, optimising fundraising efforts, and ensuring efficient administrative processes are in place.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporter Care:
- To be a first point of contact for the Fundraising Department, answering the phone and meeting and greeting people who arrive to the office.
- Respond to enquiries from supporters, prospective supporters and volunteers via telephone, e-mail, and post, maintaining excellent supporter relations.
- Ensure timely and appropriate acknowledgments, using both standard and bespoke correspondence.
- To adhere to administrative procedures to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service which is compliant with all relevant legislation, policies, regulations, and guidelines.
- Provide admin support for Direct Mail letters and appeals, including the use of mail merge, when required.
- Assist with the ongoing stewardship of Regular Givers.
Community Fundraising:
- Co-ordinate the recruitment and appropriate use of volunteers to support fundraising.
- Develop relationships with volunteer fundraisers, with the aim of maximising the funds they raise through challenges, events and talks.
- Support the formation of volunteer fundraising groups.
- Support ongoing and new events within the UK, which may include occasional weekend and evening work.
- Take the lead with the co-ordination and administration of public collections in the UK.
- Take the lead in monitoring fundraising merchandise, and liaise with suppliers, for fundraising materials, including Christmas Cards.
Digital Marketing:
- Support in developing UK digital fundraising opportunities.
- Administer digital acquisition campaigns in the UK e.g. through digital advertising, to generate new donors.
Database Management (Training will be provided):
- Create and maintain contact records on Salesforce, ensuring supporter information is kept up to date by recording changes to mailing preferences, gift aid eligibility and contact details etc.
- Database maintenance and housekeeping e.g. identifying and merging duplicate records, removing, or archiving redundant data, adhering to GDPR protocols.
Finance Administration (Training will be provided):
- Efficiently process and reconcile incoming donations, received daily by post, online and phone. Bank cheques and cash on a weekly basis, and process credit card and CAF donations.
- Record all donations to Salesforce, ensuring the accurate coding of income to the correct source and supporter.
- Administer new Direct Debit instructions.
- Support monthly and quarterly reports demonstrating fundraising income received against budget, to inform the management team and provide accurate forecasting.
- Scan and upload credit card statements and invoices for payment by the Finance team.
- Record and reconcile petty cash expenditure.
- Assist the Finance team in the reconciliation of all income received, responding to any queries.
General Office Administration:
- Order office stationery and fundraising supplies, as required.
- Co-ordinate general office maintenance, as required.
- Arrange accommodation for staff travel to Shrewsbury.

- Relevant qualifications from a Further Education Institution or equivalent office/administration experience in a busy environment, preferably in fundraising or marketing.
- Excellent planning, administrative, organisational and time management skills, to deliver and cope with a busy workload.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent keyboard and numeracy skills, with a high-level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, especially Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).

This is a newly created role working within our Fundraising & Communication Dept.
Role summary
Working within our fundraising and communications team, you will support the management of our communications portfolio of work. Maintaining our consistent brand, you will lead on digital and print asset development. 1. At least one years’ experience in a fundraising or communications support role.

Ideal skills and experience:
- Previous success of developing a fundraising strategy in the charity sector to achieve growth targets across multiple income streams and particularly trusts and foundations, individual giving and corporates.
- Significant experience in a senior fundraising role, with a strong background in trusts and foundations and digital fundraising strategies and campaigns and experience of successfully managing a large number of restricted grants.
- Strategic thinker with an understanding of the interface between communication and influencing and communication and fundraising and a data-driven approach to shaping how we engage different audiences to create mutual value across fundraising and influencing objectives.
- Experience of successfully building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders at a senior level, particularly with trusts and foundations and corporates.

Job Background
We are looking for a Head of Fundraising who can work with the service delivery team to link earned income into the Fundraising Strategy, secure both unrestricted and restricted income and through grants, trusts and foundations as well as with corporate partners and individual donors. You will work collaboratively with teams across the charity and won’t be phased by the inevitable challenges that this will bring, or the constantly changing environment that the charity will be operating in the next few years.
In this pivotal role UKHarvest is seeking a strategic Head of Fundraising to lead the charity’s efforts in generating vital financial support and building meaningful relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders. You will have a proven track record designing and implementing fundraising strategies that achieve revenue targets and have the charity’s ethos at the heart of everything you do.
Main Objectives
With responsibility for the Fundraising at UKHarvest, the post holder will:
- Research and manage a pipeline of trusts and foundation applications that offer restricted and unrestricted funding.
- Write applications, using information and expertise from colleagues as necessary.
- Identify new fundraising opportunities from a range of sources, including national and local government; individual supporters and commercial opportunities.
- Organise, plan and implement a fundraising strategy, yet be flexible enough to adapt to changing priorities and deliver against tight deadlines when required.
- Lead and manage the process of reporting to existing funders and Trustees.
- Nurturing relationships with existing supporters and partners.
- Align fundraising campaigns using your excellent communication skills to deliver broader organisational messaging and branding.
- Demonstrate excellent writing skills and attention to detail, capturing beneficiaries’ experiences and the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
- Embed a culture of fundraising and effective storytelling throughout the organisation.
- Organise and lead regular fundraising meetings with the CEO.
- Proactively improve the processes and optimise the use of the CRM system to record funding opportunities and track income against targets.
- Develop strong relationships with all departments and at all levels across the charity.
Required experience
The successful applicant will have at least 5 years fundraising experience as a Head of Fundraising, managing and leading a fundraising team. A strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities, set priorities and drive results, you will have experience in developing and sustaining funding streams using a variety of techniques to secure restricted and unrestricted funding, major gifts, grants, events, and corporate partnerships; combined with exceptional communication skills to engage and inspire donors, volunteers and stakeholders. You will be able to motivate and develop a high performing team, set targets, and promote a collaborative culture. You will care about social justice, environmental sustainability and food waste as these pillars underpin all UKHarvest activities. The role will be predominantly based in the UKHarvest Chichester Hub with regular visits to the Nourish Hub in London.

About you:
We’re looking for an experienced events fundraiser or someone with substantial experience in a comparable transferable field, with experience in project management and the end-to-end development and delivery of events.
You’ll be a confident communicator with strong marketing experience and focused on exceptional supporter experience whilst being accomplished at building great relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Combined with excellent organisation and time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities whilst keeping to deadlines, you’ll bring your knowledge, creativity and new ideas to help continue to shape the future of our Bespoke Events team.
You will be adept at using data and insight to identify potential areas of growth and be a proactive self-starter, responsible for the end-to-end development and delivery of the events you manage and be comfortable analysing performance and making recommendations for change where necessary.
