MAIN PURPOSE:

 The Philanthropy Manager will lead the development and delivery of Brainkind’s capital fundraising initiatives, cultivate and steward high-net-worth individuals, and grow strategic corporate partnerships.

The role will play a critical part in securing transformational gifts, building long-term philanthropic relationships, and developing sustainable income streams to support capital developments and service expansion.

 MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Responsibilities

1. Capital Fundraising Leadership

• Develop and deliver capital fundraising strategies to support major infrastructure and service development projects.
• Create compelling cases for support aligned to organisational strategy and impact.
• Identify and secure major gifts (£25k+) to support capital appeals.
• Work closely with senior leadership and Trustees to activate networks and fundraising influence.
• Monitor and report on capital fundraising performance against agreed targets.

2. High-Net-Worth Individual (HNW) Engagement

• Develop and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and prospective major donors.
• Identify, research, and cultivate new prospects through networking, events, and relationship mapping.
• Develop bespoke engagement and stewardship plans for each donor.
• Lead face-to-face solicitations and gift negotiations.
• Deliver exceptional stewardship to maximise lifetime value and long-term engagement.

3. Corporate Fundraising & Partnerships

• Develop and implement a corporate fundraising strategy aligned to Brainkind’s mission and values.
• Secure new corporate partnerships including strategic, multi-year, and employee engagement partnerships.
• Develop sponsorship opportunities linked to capital projects, events, and services.
• Manage key account relationships and ensure high-quality reporting and impact demonstration.
• Explore cause-related marketing and CSR partnership opportunities.

4. Strategy & Collaboration

• Contribute to the overall fundraising strategy and annual income planning.
• Collaborate with communications and service teams to develop impactful donor materials.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and pipeline management using CRM systems.
• Maintain compliance with fundraising regulation and best practice
• To undertake any other duties as may from time to time be specified by Brainkind that is within the level and responsibility appropriate to the grade of post.

• Strong understanding of major gift fundraising techniques and donor cultivation cycles.
• Financial literacy and ability to develop and manage budgets and forecasts.
• Competence in CRM systems and pipeline management.
• Significant experience in major donor fundraising and/or capital appeals.
• Experience managing high-value donor relationships and corporate partnerships.
• Experience developing fundraising strategies and delivering against income targets.

The role

Construction Youth Trust is in a strong financial position with an excellent Fundraising & Partnership team, supported by well-established systems. We already have a strong pipeline in place to meet our fundraising targets (£2M - £2.5M p.a.) This is an opportunity for a Senior Fundraising Leader with the skills and experience to consolidate and build on this success. We are looking for someone with the drive and experience to help the Trust meet our ambition to significantly increase opportunity for disadvantaged young people within the build environment.

We are seeking a Head of Fundraising & Partnerships with a strong desire to play an active Senior Leadership role and contribute to the Trust’s wider strategy, governance and day-to-day charity management. There is the opportunity to play a significant role shaping and steering the Trust’s next business planning cycle. Ideally, the post-holder would be willing/able to deputise for the CEO and the salary offered to the successful candidate will be dependent on experience and level of responsibility.  There is significant headroom at the Trust for a fundraising leader who is looking to take on a more strategic role within this dynamic charity, either immediately or with structured development and support.

About The Role

As Individual Giving & Supporter Care Manager at Place2Be (within a Fundraising Team of 27), you will play a significant part in the Individual Giving and Philanthropy & Special Events team, in a busy and varied role. The Individual Giving and Supporter Care team consists of the Individual & Supporter Care Manager, a Supporter Care Officer and an Income Processing Assistant, and sits alongside the Philanthropy and Special Events team under the leadership of the Deputy Director of Fundraising. 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Individual Giving & Supporter Care Manager to lead the development and delivery of our Individual Giving & Supporter Care programme, to include 2-3 appeals each year, delivery of our annual supporter magazine, legacy and in-memory income, income processing and ensuring that our supporters are being looked after in the best possible way.

This role is pivotal in engaging supporters, raising vital income and enhancing our organisation’s profile through exceptional communications. You will work closely with colleagues across Fundraising, Communications, Finance and Operations to deliver strategic, creative and impactful communications that inspire and connect with our supporters and the general public. Purpose of role

As the Program Manager, Media and Communications, you will support the Program Director on the design, development and implementation of communication strategies and plans to advance Humane World for Animals UK’s strategic priorities with regard to campaigns, brand-building and fundraising. You will lead on producing and delivering a content strategy for a broad range of channels to increase audience engagement. About you

Our successful candidate will be confident, creative and positive with a proven track in media and communications roles. Job Outline:

The Fundraising Officer will be responsible for leading our community fundraising programme, by generating income through the fundraising activities of individuals and community groups. The Fundraising Officer will build strong, supportive relationships with fundraisers, delivering excellent stewardship to inspire long-term engagement and maximise income, including through celebratory giving and annual campaigns. The role will also involve engaging with the local community and supporting some challenge event fundraising.

We are now seeking a Fundraising & Community Relations Manager to help us build the resources, relationships and community awareness we need to meet rising demand and to drive our mission forward.

Location

This role is based at our Cirencester office, with opportunities for some home working. The post will involve some local travel across the South Cotswolds to meet supporters, partners, and community groups. 

Role and Responsibilities

As a key member of our small, friendly staff team, you will lead the development of fundraising from individuals, businesses, trusts and foundations, and community groups. You will identify new funding opportunities, craft compelling bids, and nurture long‑term partnerships that help sustain our annual running costs and strengthen our future resilience.

You will also take a leading role in shaping how we share our story. Working closely with the Head of Foodbank and colleagues, you will create marketing materials, digital and print content, fundraising campaigns, and communications that bring our mission and our clients’ experiences to life. This includes producing newsletters, fundraising appeals, social media content, and materials for events and outreach activities.

A central part of this role is inspiring and stewarding supporters, whether that’s someone making a one‑off donation, a local business exploring a partnership, or a trust considering a grant application. You will represent the Foodbank at community events across the region, building relationships with schools, churches, associations, local groups and businesses. Working closely with colleagues, you’ll help capture stories and case studies from people with lived experience of food poverty (with sensitivity and respect) to illustrate the realities facing local families and to strengthen our fundraising, communications, and advocacy work. You will maintain our CRM system, ensuring accurate donor and engagement data, and produce regular reports for monitoring and oversight.

• Aligned with the values (trusting, kind, positive and collaborative) and mission of the Isle of Wight Youth Trust

Experience of working in a youth-focused or mental health charity, an understanding of the local Isle of Wight funding landscape, and a professional fundraising qualification (e.g. CIoF) are all desirable but not essential.

Additional Information
