About The Role
As a Community Builder, you will be at the heart of our Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, supporting the charity’s objective to enhance reach with a focus on enabling a positive impact for members of the armed forces community facing challenges. You will do this by creating sustainable, community-led solutions that enhance their well-being. You will identify strengths within local communities, foster meaningful connections, and utilise this to create new networks and drive positive change.
We are looking for a motivated and dynamic individual who is passionate about collaboration and community-led change. If you believe in the power of strong, connected communities, this role is for you.
Working closely with Community Development Managers across regions within the UK, you will create opportunities for members of the Armed Forces community (AFC) and their families to connect with Help for Heroes and their local community.
About You
You will have experience of working alongside communities to create the conditions for community-led change, ideally with experience of Asset-Based Community Development. You will have good organisational skills, energy and the ability to listen, build relationships, and inspire collaboration which will be essential in creating positive, lasting change.
Key Responsibilities

We are looking for someone with:

A Community Development qualification and/or experience of taking an asset-based approach to community development with transferable skills.

PLEASE NOTE:

The successful candidate will need to be based within a 30-minute commute of the centre of their allocated locality and there is a requirement to travel regularly within a 75-mile radius of this location (travel expenses covered). There will The successful candidate must possess a valid full UK driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle with business insurance for work purposes.

There will also be a requirement for occasional travel to other UK locations for meetings and events depending on the charity’s needs such as our annual all colleagues in person event.

The successful candidate will work 35 hours per week over 5 days, Monday - Sunday. Core working days will be Monday to Friday; however, flexibility is essential, as regular evening and weekend work will also be required to meet the needs of the role. Working hours will vary to ensure a total of 70 hours is covered over a two-week period, so please take this into consideration before applying.

About the Team
You will be part of a newly formed Community Development team, dedicated to embedding Asset-Based Community Development. We will amplify the strengths already present in communities, forging lasting partnerships and initiatives that empower the Armed Forces community to thrive. Together the Community Development Managers and the Community Builders will strengthen local communities using resources and networks that are readily available. You will do this to proliferate opportunities for sustainable participation and engagement alongside a multi-disciplinary team in order to support the Armed Forces Community to live well after service.

About the role
As the Brand and Creative Manager you will lead a team of two to collaborate with colleagues across the charity, external agencies and children and young people with cancer, and their families, to create and oversee the delivery of a calendar of content that lead to deeper levels of engagement, greater action and a significant increase in income.
You will manage our brand identity, lead the on-going development and delivery of our brand guidelines and tone of voice workshops to empower colleagues to create their own audience-led communications.
You will demonstrate the importance of diversity, accessibility and inclusion in everything we do, and review, feedback and sign off all creative design work, ensuring it follows our brand guidelines and tone of voice.

What will I be doing?

Brand
- Support the delivery of our programme of brand activations, increasing external brand knowledge, understanding and engagement through the development and delivery of high-quality, insight-driven activity.
- Manage our brand identity, lead the on-going development and delivery of our brand guidelines and tone of voice workshops to empower colleagues to create their own audience-led communications.
- Demonstrate the importance of diversity, accessibility and inclusion in everything we do.
- Review, feedback and sign off all creative design work, ensuring it follows our brand guidelines and tone of voice.
Content
- Work with the Head of Strategic Communications and Brand to deliver our content strategy.
- Oversee the creation and production of high-quality, impactful multi-channel creative and content. Stay on top of trends and audience insight and external innovation and inspiration.
- Lead others to identify the best routes and resource to delivering creative projects; provide professional expertise and guidance about the most appropriate design and production solutions; responsible for ensuring the visual and verbal identity is being effectively implemented across a range of outputs, both online and offline.
- Lead the team and work with a roster of freelancers, agencies and children and young people to create evergreen multimedia content, by creating user-generated guides and sharing support.
- Deliver on-going inductions to our external vendors and training to internal colleagues.

Role Overview
The Film & TV Charity’s Looking Glass research on the mental health of the UK film, TV and cinema workforce has consistently shown that mental health and rates of loneliness at work are significantly worse in this sector than among the population as a whole. Further Charity research has also shown that the two are closely linked, strongly suggesting that tackling loneliness is vital part of the industry-wide fight to protect the mental health of the workforce.
As the Community Development Manager, you will use our research insights to help develop the Charity’s community strategy, managing a programme of work that seeks to embed social connection as a core mental health priority in the Charity’s work and among the wider industry. You will also deliver specific projects stemming from the community strategy. Foremost among these is the Charity’s Community Partnerships programme. This involves working with a cohort of peer and community-led industry support groups to meet the needs of their communities, primarily through regular events-based engagement at our Soho offices. But it may also involve contributing to the co-working space offer at our offices in Soho, and to the Charity’s research on themes related to loneliness and social connection.
You will need to have experience of strategy development and partnerships or community management, and the excellent relationship management skills on which this depends. A background in developing mental or social wellbeing interventions is highly desirable, as is experience working in the film, television or creative industries. You will be a positive and enthusiastic individual, with a passion for creating solutions that support people’s mental and social wellbeing.
Main Areas of Responsibility
Community Strategy
·Continue to onboard and engage Charity staff with latest loneliness research findings
·Work with senior leadership to develop the Charity’s existing community strategy in response to the latest loneliness research findings and get buy-in from internal stakeholders
·Work closely with relevant teams to develop key actions informed by these strategic priorities
·Working with senior leadership, onboard and engage key industry stakeholders with the latest loneliness research findings and recommendations (where appropriate this may involve working closely with other Charity team members)
·Work closely with the Charity’s Impact and Evaluation Lead to ensure the impact of our Community Strategy is measured appropriately and reported on regularly in staff and trustee updates
Community Partnerships
-Continue managing (and growing) the Charity’s network of peer support and community groups, with a focus on communities experiencing high levels of loneliness
-Plan and deliver partner engagement events, with the aim of combatting loneliness and fostering belonging for the most vulnerable industry workers
-Day to day management of the Community Partners will involve working with the Charity’s Wellbeing Services Coordinator to manage partner event bookings, enquiries, building partner relationships, supporting partners with event management, attending partner events and gathering wellbeing insights from these communities to grow the Charity’s industry knowledge and support offer
-Support the partners to deliver effective and sustainable community building and peer support by organising appropriate workshops and webinars
-As needed, co-produce events with partners that aim to deliver on our partnership goals of fostering community and creating meaningful social connection
- Raise awareness of our Community Partners and their work within the wider industry
-Measure the impact of the Community Partnerships through tools such as member surveys and partner interviews, and regularly report on these findings
Co-working Space Development (tbc)
-Develop the Charity’s co-working space in Golden Square to be an inclusive, welcoming community hub for industry freelancers, that supports them to foster meaningful social connections
- Improve user satisfaction rates, working with relevant teams to improve operational support, bookings systems, user policies and drive deeper engagement with the Charity’s wider services
Research
-Support research projects (conducted either internally or by external partners) that continue to develop our understanding and evidence base on loneliness and social connection
-Contribute to the national and international dialogue on loneliness by sharing the Charity’s research findings, collaborating with key stakeholders and promoting best practice
-Develop relationships with professionals working to tackle loneliness (third sector, private sector, academia) to enable knowledge sharing, ensuring the charity’s work informs wider evidence on workplace loneliness
-Support the wider team to develop wellbeing projects and initiatives using research findings
General
-To operate in a way that ensures you are recognised as a role model for the Charity’s core values and behaviours.

The Role
Our Individual Giving programme is central to our fundraising strategy to increase our unrestricted, sustainable income. This is a key role in supporting the Individual Giving Manager to recruit and steward donors across a range of channels including face-to-face, telemarketing, direct mail and digital. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple programmes including regular giving, lottery, in-memory and legacy. This role will help to meet or exceed our annual targets which will help us provide the best care for patients, staff and loved ones at our hospitals.
Key Tasks
• Using evidence-based insights, support with the planning and implementation of several direct marketing campaigns across a range of channels including direct mail, email, social, display advertising and newsletters including managing suppliers on concept creation, oversight of copy and creative and delivery schedules. Work with the IG Manager on performance analysis and learning of programme to enable enhancements and improvements
• Support the IG Manager in the set up and operational management of our face-to-face fundraising campaigns for regular donor and lottery player recruitment. Including invoice processing, complaint handling, site management and training for third party fundraising teams
• Creation and delivery of our regular giving and lottery stewardship journeys. This will include researching and proving content, engaging with supporters and looking for opportunities to cross-sell
• Being proactive in writing up process documents and maintaining documents for Individual Giving Team
• Day-to-day point of contact with external agencies including face-to-face agencies, creative agencies, printers and fulfilment houses
• To support the Head of Supporter Engagement with the development of a legacy marketing programme
• Creation and delivery of our in-memory stewardship journey, including donors who set up tribute pages on MuchLoved
• Work with hospital staff and stakeholders to gather content, encourage fundraising and manage our contactless stations
• Work with our Supporter Services Team to monitor and action all feedback, and properly record supporter interactions on our database
• Work with the Communications Team to develop internal messaging for the Charity and King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

This is not just a delivery role. You’ll be trusted to lead multichannel campaigns that blend brand storytelling with offer-led marketing. Increasing visibility, driving bookings, building loyalty and growing revenue. Whether you’re launching a new menu, rolling out a seasonal loyalty scheme, or amplifying a society-led event, you’ll ensure our marketing is student-first, insight-driven and culturally relevant.
You’ll work across Business Development, Events, Design, and Insight to deliver joined-up campaigns that feel fresh, engaging and purposeful. You’ll lead content planning and campaign delivery, manage budgets, track performance, and shape how students connect with our commercial spaces. You’ll also line-manage a graduate staff member and support a wider network of student creatives.
We’re looking for someone who’s:
- Experienced in leading multichannel marketing campaigns (hospitality, events, retail or student contexts preferred)
- Skilled in brand copywriting, content planning, and digital channel management
- Confident using CRM, email and analytics platforms to drive performance
- Comfortable managing creative workflows and coaching others

The Trusts & Foundations Specialist will play a key role in identifying and securing grants from trusts and foundations. You will lead on researching new opportunities, crafting compelling applications, and stewarding relationships with grantmakers. We’re looking for a diligent and thoughtful writer with a sharp eye for detail and a deep interest in our work, who is also keen to contribute to the wider life of the organisation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Grant Prospecting & Pipeline Development

Research and maintain a pipeline of trusts and foundations aligned with OSH’s mission and growth priorities.

Work closely with OSH leadership to align fundraising priorities with programme plans and organisational growth.

Maintain up-to-date records on potential and active funders in OSH’s CRM.
Bid Writing & Submission

Write and submit high-quality, tailored applications that articulate OSH’s impact, values and plans.

Ensure applications are accurate, persuasive, and meet deadlines and funder requirements.

Collaborate with the team to gather supporting information, budgets, and case studies.
Reporting & Stewardship

Prepare timely and engaging reports for successful grants, ensuring compliance with funder requirements and strong stewardship.

Maintain excellent records and monitor deadlines for reporting and renewals.
Cross-Organisational Contribution

Coordinate annual impact reporting, including data analysis, case studies, and visual storytelling.

Build strong internal relationships and stay connected to OSH’s work by attending occasional programmes, events and residentials.

Contribute ideas and support the fundraising team’s broader work (e.g. campaigns, supporter communications).

ABOUT YOU

Demonstrated experience writing successful funding applications to trusts and foundations.

Excellent writing and editing skills — clear, concise, persuasive and adaptable to different audiences.

Ability to analyse funder criteria and align proposals strategically.

Strong team player, willing to engage with programme staff, volunteers and young people to understand and communicate OSH’s work.

About the role
Over the coming year, The Drive Partnership is looking to review, update, and design new training to offer to The Drive Project workforce. To lead this work, we are recruiting a Drive training team made up of a Senior Training Lead, Training Lead and Training Coordinator.
This role offers a unique opportunity to support the upskilling of The Drive Project workforce and advance The Drive Partnership’s mission to end domestic abuse and protect victims by disrupting, challenging, and changing the behaviour of those who are causing harm.
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
Contract: Fixed term until March 2026 with potential for 12-month extension to March 2027 - pending funding confirmation.

About the Role

In this role you will lead the development of new programmes and institutional funding bids in line with Cord’s peacebuilding approach and 5 main programme areas. You will manage proposal submissions to Cord's key donors such as the EU, US State Department, GIZ, SDC, UN Peacebuilding Fund etc. You will be working closely with country teams to design and write proposals based on strong project designs developed in partnership with our local partners.
The role will also operate at a strategic level by managing Cord’s relationships with key donors and shaping how Cord communicates about its programmes and the added-value that Cord brings.
