We are working with Age UK Birmingham an independent local charity, working alongside Age UK Sandwell to support the older people of the City of Birmingham and the Metropolitan Borough of Sandwell. They have been working in the community for over 30 years to support older people, their families and carers, so that everyone can enjoy later life.
They are in search of a Finance Manager. Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Finance Manager will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial control procedures across the organisation. They will provide and present timely and accurate financial management reports to the CEO and the Board of Trustees.
The role is key to ensuring financial functions are constantly appraised for efficiency, incorporating new ways of working and technology to support the charity’s sustainable growth.
With part or fully qualified AAT/CIMA certifications (or equivalent) you will have experience of:
- Financial reporting, compliance and audit
- Strategy, Budgeting and forecasting
- Team leadership, operations, partnerships and efficiency

- Charity sector and SORP experience
We are looking for someone who can work independently, as well as in a team with, ideally, experience with working in the voluntary sector. You will have strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care services are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The post holder will work flexible hours working to structured shift patterns covering 7am-9.30pm on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday. Although based in the community, post holders may occasionally be required to work in other Rennie Grove Peace Care settings to ensure adequate staffing levels and to gain experience of the wider hospice delivery of care.

Working closely with the prison and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will lead the delivery and development of our prison-based reading and numeracy programme, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.
Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach.

Herts Young Homeless is an independent charity and has been supporting vulnerable people in Hertfordshire since 1998. We are professional, passionate, collaborative and supportive charity that provides guidance to everyone who is in need of support.

One25 is a Bristol charity for women moving from crisis and trauma towards independence in the community. It is a highly respected charity working with some of the most marginalised women in Bristol.
One25 services have been developed to meet women at their point of need, with love and practical support. We do this through our night and early morning outreach service which is a lifeline for nearly 200 women on Bristol’s streets. Our Health Hub provides support for women to access health services and healthcare professionals. Our caseworkers offer intensive one-to-one care in any area of need: from support in court to finding somewhere safe to live.
We are recruiting a Van Outreach Worker to lead One25’s van outreach shifts on alternate weekends. The role provides support and sign-posting to women who are street-sex working, leads and supports a small team of volunteers on each shift, provides briefings and debriefs before and after shifts, and makes decisions relating to safeguarding and safety on the van. On alternate weekends, the Weekend Van Outreach Worker provides on-call support to those on shift. There is also one weekly daytime shift in the office to connect with the wider team.
We are looking for someone who is able to bring compassion and a non-judgemental approach to their engagement with the women. You should have great interpersonal skills which help you to support the volunteers who keep One25’s services running. You should be able to think on your feet and, when necessary, be decisive. This is a unique role and every night can be different. If you think you could be a great fit for this role, even if you don’t have directly relevant experience in this type of work, we’d love to hear from you. Full training is provided.

The main focus of the role is to secure income for large-scale capital investment at Stanley Arts; alongside developing and maintaining relationships with statutory funders and trusts who maysupport programming and core running costs of the
building. Funding bodies will include Arts Council England, the National Lottery Heritage Fund and other voluntary sources, predominantly trusts and foundations.
The Development Manager will play a central role in securing income for Stanley Arts through two key areas:
1) Overseeing fundraising across trusts, foundations, statutory funders, corporate partners, and individual donors to support programming and core running costs.
2) Developing and delivering a major fundraising campaign to raise funds for a large-scale capital investment in Stanley Art’s future.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Development Manager will help shape the organisation’s strategic direction and ensure fundraising is embedded across the organisation. They will lead on individual giving and donor development, alongside capital, trust, and foundation fundraising.
Reporting to the Artistic Director/CEO, the Development Manager will line-manage and collaborate with the freelance Fundraiser, and work closely with the General Manager and Data & Insights Officer to ensure effective bid writing, relationship management, and reporting.
Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a fundraising/development role, preferably
within arts, heritage, or cultural organisations.
- Experience of individual giving programmes, including donor cultivation,
stewardship, and retention.
- Proven track record of successful major funding applications to trusts, foundations,
statutory bodies, and corporate funders.
- Knowledge of fundraising regulations, best practice, and ethical standards.

About the role:
This role will be hybrid with a base at one of our offices in West Mercia and will require regular travel within the West Mercia area. As a Caseworker you will be supporting adults to:
- Ensure the delivery of excellent services to victims of crime through the direct provision of information and practical and emotional help from the point of crime, and onwards throughout the criminal justice process, where appropriate
- Ensure that the overall aim of helping people cope and recover from the effects of crime is achieved
- Act as a single point of contact, to undertake effective need and risk assessments of victims and their circumstances
- Coordinate the overall delivery of the cope and recovery plan and recovery journey, working closely with other service providers to meet the needs of victims to enable them to cope and recover from the impact of crime
You will need:
- Experience of delivering a service and working directly with service users in a statutory, voluntary or community work setting
- Experience of working with vulnerable adults and/or families
- Understanding and knowledge of an active commitment to promoting equal opportunities, inclusion and diversity
- Ability to work without direct supervision, prioritise work and deal with competing or conflicting demands/ needs and interests in an organised and methodical manner
- Ability to needs assess, risk assess and empathise with the victim
